The wolf is black/white/grey but has black shadings where her tattoos are located on her body due to the special ink used on her. Note: She has no in between phase yet. The later part of her personality is improving as she is forming bonds with her teammates more. She will fight to protect both innocent mutants and humans. History:  Evelyn Penance Reed was born to Stephen and Helena Reed in Albany, NY. Her parents were working parents. Helena was a paramedic and Stephen was the CEO of a small marketing firm. Both of her parents were mutants; however, Stephen was never open about his healing abilities. Everything was normal about Evelyn's child hood. She went to an ordinary school in an ordinary suburb. She rebelled doing the ordinary things that a child would do. Life was nice. Life was fun and fine. When Evie was 6, her life changed. Her father's company had started stumbling and he started staying away from home more and more. He had always been happy and enjoyed spending time with Helena and Evelyn; however, the household became more and more angry and less happy. As it turns out, Stephen was having an affair with his secretary, Darla Taylor. Darla was an independently wealthy woman who was mostly bored and had started working for Stephen for something to do. During the course of this affair, Darla offered to invest money in Stephen's company in exchange for his divorce and commitment to Darla and her daughter, Audrey. Stephen's company and money meant more than his family, and he divorced Helena before Evie's 7th birthday. He made very little contact with his daughter since that time. This left her feeling somewhat abandoned and angry despite Helena's constant attention. Puberty hit at age thirteen which also included a slew of problems for Evelyn. Not only did she start building up the usual teenage angst, she also finally found out that she had two younger sisters that her father never allowed her to see. Emotions started to get the better of her, and during a soccer match in school, her mutant abilities started to kick in. The overwhelming feeling of the train wreck of sounds, being able to see fine details, smell everything in a twenty foot radius, feel every bead of sweat on her body, and taste the dust on the air shocked her system. She passed out in the middle of the match. The doctors at the hospital had a hard time giving her an IV because her healing ability also started surfacing and kept pushing the needle out of her arm. Helena began to teach Evelyn, who had become more moody, how to control her abilities. Knowing that she didn't have all the answers, she decided to become proactive and look for somebody who had the experience to teach her daughter. At the age of 14, she was invited to the Xavier Institute of Higher Learning. Her counselor was Scott Summers, Cyclops. Her studies were initially mostly isolated because she had little control over her sensory skills. Sometimes she became so overwhelmed that telepaths like Jean Grey and Elisabeth Braddock would have to step in and help her control them. Feeling like she was an X-Men failure, Evelyn didn't associate with any other students of the school and kept to herself through her first year at the school. During her second year, Evelyn began to gain more control over her abilities as she became the personal student of Psylocke (Elisabeth Braddock). She began to realize she had more skills than just sensory abilities. Psylocke began to teach her over the next two years how to become more stealth like and how to learn and become an expert at fighting styles. During her second year, she joined a student team with other mutants such as Alexander Williamson along with keeping her private studies. Her attitude became less moody and introverted. She started to become more of the no-nonsense, daredevil, and fun loving girl she was. During her junior year, she dated an older classmate, Jonothan Starsmore on and off until he graduated for the X-Men team. She also became close with Sam Guthrie even if they never officially dated. During her third year at the Institute, the attacks on New York by Magneto happened. Evelyn had been typically sheltered from any attacks on the Institute or X-Men activity, but many of the older students were drawn into this fight. She spent much of the time during that fateful day rescuing innocent civilians and mutants from rubble and getting them to safety. It was there she decided she wanted to truly be an X-Man in the future. That day was devastating to all mutants. While visiting friends in "Mutant Town" (located in New York) the following day, the house they were staying in was firebombed by an anti-mutant group. Everybody in the house made it out safely; however, when Evelyn arrived home at the Institute, she watched footage on the news about Genosha being razed by SHIELD in order to find Magneto. The worst part of the event was that her mother was one of the millions of mutants who were killed there. (Helena had been working as a paramedic on the island.) At this time, she was moved to the New Mutants team of students under Cyclops. During the following months, she struggled to keep her team together and to help them grow. She has learned to focus most of her time and energy in solving other people's problems and helping them learn their abilities. Her lone goal is to be an X-Man and teacher upon graduating. Her focus has taken a toll on her personal relationships. Evie slowly has become a distant leader, but a loyal one. After Evie graduated high school, she decided to stay at the Xavier Institute to pursue college courses. She was also promoted to a Junior X-Man along with her team. The New Mutants became that X-Men Alpha team. During the following year, Evie learned that she had a wolf mutation. The first time this mutation came to light was under a stress training with Wolverine. She wanted the skill kept secret for the time being. Part of her felt it was an advantage to have a hidden skill and part of her didn't want to share until she understood it completely. Noteable Characteristics: She speaks with a slightly Spanish influenced accent, and when angered may lapse into complete Spanish from time to time. She generally has a very sweet disposition, but can be hell on wheels if necessary. Is very loyal, and very family oriented. She takes well to children, and goes out of her way to see the sad or depressed smile. Makes many friends easily, but only a few true blues…

Standard Dress: She always wears skirts of some kind, and if she should be caught in a pair of pants, her feet are always in heels. She may perhaps wear one pair of sneakers, outside of her uniform. She wears any color that crosses her mind, but is particularly fond of reds and greens.
Place of Birth: Barranquilla, Colombia
Family/History: She was born the only child of Alexis Stone, the American born scientist who originally traveled to Colombia to further his work. There he met and wed the lovely Esperanza Bavaria, who was the only child of the wealthy Santos Bavaria, owner and CEO of Bavaria S.A. – Or as the locals call it Cervecería Bavaria— Bavaria Brewery. The company had originally been started by Leo S. Kopp, a German immigrant. At that time the company was called S.A.BMiller, but Leo married Colombian, and his daughter married into the Bavaria family—Thus the company became Bavaria S.A. Bavaria is the second largest brewery in South America and the tenth one in the world.
Alexis and Esperanza lived privileged lives, and had the perfect little romance, the perfect little family. Esperanza headed Bavaria S.A when her father passed on, and Alexis continued with his work. He would return to the USA for two or three months every year to compare his findings with other brilliant minds.
Imagine their surprise though, at finding out that their almost royal, only child, was a mutant.
Isabella took dancing and music lessons at a young age, easily excelling at the arts rather than the sciences, much to her father's personal dismay. Though he grew to be proud of her regardless as it became apparent that she was really very good at what she did-- For all purposes and intents she was the apple of his eye.
Her lack of interest in the sciences ended up not being a problem for the Stone’s, as the ability to perform well and carry a wondrous stage presence is looked highly upon in Barranquilla society. She was the model child for the public to see, and to entertain dinner guests. She attended the bilingual Marymount International School of Barranquilla from elementary school until she departed for the United States at the age of fifteen, and can thus speak English just as well as her native tongue.
She performed at every one of the street festivals, through the good times and bad, and many of the Carnival’s of Barranquilla. She was said to have ‘rabado la voz de un angelis’— Stolen the voice from the Angels. Her parents couldn’t be more proud. She could sing, dance, and intuitively play any instrument she could pick up, just by strumming, or playing a few notes. School taught her the basics, and she flourished.
When she was thirteen there was a not so hidden inner-city war between those that considered Barranquilla ‘La Puerta de Oro de Colomb’—The Golden Gates of Colombia—And those that wanted Barranquilla to be separate from Colombia and the government, and considered themselves citizens of ‘La Arenosa’ – The Sandy City. Gunfire rained and homemade bombs tore up the once peaceful, beautiful streets. Five weeks after her thirteenth birthday Isabella and her parents were shopping in the local plaza when it was attacked by the members of La Arenosa. One of the gunmen grasped the young Isabella, and began to drag her away. Seeing this, Alexis charged the man, trying to take her back—Only to be shot down.
Isabella, seeing her father drop to the earth, felt something snap inside her, and in pure fear and anger emptied her lungs. She screamed with all her might, and even though she should have run out of breath shortly, the terrified sound continued, on and on. And then it became something else, stronger, higher—Forceful. Angry. Unaware that the man that held her had long since let go, covering his ears in pain, blood leaking from between his fingers, her voice caused the foundations of the walls to shake. But he could not hope to block out the sound. Her eyes squeezed tightly shut, the ground shook from the sheer force of it. A beam came down on her head, ending the sonic scream—A thousand different voice shrieking in pain all at once. The man that had tried to take her lay dead on the floor.
When she awoke a week later, Esperanza Stone was a widow. Her husband had been cremated. Isabella had missed the funeral. Now, the former Bavaria woman was no fool. She was not the only survivor from the market place, and knew that she had not been the only one to see her only child’s wild display of power. She had done things before but nothing of that magnitude—And certainly nothing to harm another. She pushed her grief aside for her beloved deceased husband and focused of trying to keep her daughter safe and out of the public eye. Isabella was the only family she had left now. For a year and a half they attempted to control her powers. They succeeded to a point, but they really only worked on self control, not developing them. Esperanza for all of her sheltered life had actually known more than one mutant—And was well aware of the anti-mutant sentiment, especially in Columbia.
After a particularly terrible incident at school, Isabella had been forced to use her powers offensively, and Esperanza knew that they needed another solution. She could not bare to seclude her daughter from the world, just because she was different. But she did not want to put her in further danger. Isabella put two students into a temporary coma—And already the town was constantly bombarding her. Taking every chance to hurt, tease, or possibly destroy the girl. A good friend put her in touch with a school in America, and as a few of the summer months passed she wrote back and fourth via email with the Head Master.
It was Isabella who ultimately convinced Esperanza that it would be a good idea to send her to this Academy X. The girl refused to leave her room, even after she had heard that the two boys from the school were all right. She thought that she had killed them, even though they were the ones that had attacked her with stones first. She barely ate... It looked like she was forgetting to live. She hated herself. Worried, but trusting, Esperanza broke the news to her daughter about the school in America. Isabella was not pleased, and having just turned 15, she was terrified of leaving her family and home. She knew that her mother could not go with her. Her mother did not speak English well, and she was the only one left to run the family business. They argued for weeks.
But at the beginning of term Isabella Stone sashayed into Academy X as if she owned it, determined to make her family proud. Where she goes immediate color and life follow, and she darts about the halls of the Academy enjoying the high school experience under the watchful eyes of the Professors.
She spent two years under their tutelage, and is now seventeen, ready to go into another year of school and fun. She has seen her fair share of carnage along the way, and the darker side of the human heart. Though she hasn't given up hope... Isabella picked up quite a few friends on the way, and loves to visit (pester) them as much as possible.
Now, Whatever happens next… Well, you’ll just have to watch the RP and hope for puppies and sunshine ^_^.
7/20/08 Update: She has discovered more about herself in the past few missions-- And has even begun to lead a team.
She found out that she has a half-brother and sister at the Institute. (Siona and Colton Stone.)-- She now questions many things in her past, and grows unsettled by it. She never dealt with her father dying, and does not know how to. The fact that he has betrayed his family, herself and her mother, tears her apart.
Superhuman Ability: Ability to Manipulate Sound, with basic, reflexive Psionic attributes.
Isabella is a Columbian mutant who can utilize a "sonic scream" capable of harming enemies’ auditory and cerebral systems and causing physical vibrations. She has superhumanly powerful lungs, throat and vocal cords that can produce the sonic scream for various effects. She has enhanced hearing, that can pick out any note, any voice among the masses. Her hearing is selective, enabling her to focus upon, enhance, or totally block out any given sound in her environment; this also serves to shield her from the damaging effects of her own screams. It makes her a superhumanly acute eavesdropper in surveillance situations. With such hearing she can also distinguish traits in the tone of a targets voice. If they are afraid, if something is wrong, if they are lying. It's two of the sensory perceptions used with lie detector tests. She is almost impossible to successfully lie to.
Her ability operates in concert with limited, reflexive psionic powers which direct and protect her from her own mutation. Without them, she would tear herself apart from the inside out. Isabella generates a psionic field which protects her from the detrimental effects of her sonic vibrations, though her sonic powers could still injure her when pushed beyond safe limits— Any psionic force that she uses is completely unconscious, it is without training, her bodies natural adaptation, and while could someday be part of a Secondary mutation, she cannot wield them in any way whatsoever.
She can hover or fly at the speed of sound, and can carry at least one passenger her size or smaller. She can overwhelm listeners with deafening noise, stun them with tight-focus low-frequency sonic blasts (effective even against shielded ears by penetrating the skull via bone conduction—Ear plugs are useless!), plunge them into a hypnotic trance, disorient them, nauseate them, or simply render them unconscious. She can also vary the pitch to deflect various projectiles.
Using sonic waves, she can rapidly vibrate herself or other masses at will. She can generate sonic blasts which strike with tremendous concussive force, liquefying or outright disintegrating targets at her highest levels of power.
By radiating sound waves outward and reading the feedback, she can locate and analyze unseen objects by way of echolocation. By modulating her scream's harmonics, she can confuse most scanning equipment. She can instinctively analyze, replicate, and block sonic waves or vibrations from other sources—And even perfectly mimic the voices of others.
Yet the worst of her ability is brought out when she sings. She is unable to hypnotize others while using her sonic scream, but the sub sonic waves she gives off when she sings are gentle, and the perfect for her last power. They ebb and flow, moving where she wishes, her power of suggestion both intentional and unintentional.
She is able to subtly influence and control others, as well as cause them to enter a hypnotic state, which does not end until her voice stops. Often they do not remember the experience. She can also prevent others from hearing external sounds so that she can secretly deliver messages to them.
Sometimes when she sings, one can almost see colors in the air. Shadows, shapes that she is thinking of. It all depends on her current state of mind.
She has unconsciously developed the ability to influence human beings with her tones, causing them to fall in love with her (without regard to gender or sexual orientation) and carry out her wishes and commands, without thinking twice. This is not always something that she stop herself from doing—Her normal speaking voice carries a musical quality that demands attention—Sometimes people zone out when she speaks, remembering nothing of what she has spoken because she has not fully learned to control her powers.
She is slowly learning that she can influence sound in any number of ways. Especially the way that her attacks are delivered. She learned beneath the water on the latest X-Excursion that she can force sound forward with her body as well. Things such as clapping her hands, snapping her fingers-- They send wild sonic waves forward that are destructive and terribly difficult for her to control.
Isabella’s powers are sound based, and she’s learned many of their uses. The only real changes are to her reflexive Psionic attributes—After a year, and working with Jean and Rachel (As seen on her past few class schedules)—Those things aren’t so reflexive. She’s learned to use the natural shields she has to keep from destroying herself from the inside out as an external, more durable shield than her sound waves. They are yet to be fully tested.
She has also learned that she can scan someone’s body using Ultra Sonic Waves, to do something akin to a sonogram or Ultrasound-- In which she can see, if she knows what she’s looking for, an injury inside a person.
Abilities (not gained from mutation): She can play piano, harp, and most any other instrument that involves sound being created. Dancing and art are a passion. She is very lithe and spent years taking gymnastic, jazz, tap, traditional, and non traditional forms of dance.

Personal Strengths: Isabella is very determined and very loyal—She will push the limit and do everything in her power to do what she believes is right. Her heart is open, and willing to try and mend any broken soul that comes her way.
Personal Weaknesses: She can become uncomfortable when asked personal questions, especially questions about her past. She never had the time to get over her Father’s death—That is a topic that will easily bring out her ire. She fears hurting others with her mutation more than anything. She is very slow to anger, but once her fuse is lit there is no stopping her until the bomb has blown. She feels everything is mass amounts—All of her emotions all at once. If she is happy, she is happy. Sad she is sad. Furious, she is furious.
Though she has gotten over her father some what—It still bothers her. She has many uses for her powers, but can’t always quell them once her emotions start going haywire. She has gotten better, but not perfect.
Personality: She loves everyone and everything. She feels bad for non-mutants—Just as she feels bad for anti-human mutants. She speaks her mind, and often shares her opinions. She is a good friend to keep—She will always stand by your side come hell or high water.
Hobbies: Art, dancing, singing, learning new instruments.

Superhuman Ability: Absorption of ambient energy. 
The most notable source of energy to her is the sun. Narcissa’s cells are constantly absorbing , among other things, solar energy-- And much like a plant they store it. She does not know what her limit is-- Or how much energy she can take in before her mutation begins to show. If her body takes in too much, her skin begins to lighten, almost glow, and her body temperature rises dramatically. Her touch, and soon enough her presence is lethal.-- An inferno in her wake. She tends to go nuclear after a point, a barely contained nova. She can boil water just by being too near to it-- Turn sand to glass just by touch.
The light that she emits is pure white in color. Solar energy is naturally white, but when seen though the atmosphere it appears yellow. It does not take on another color until it starts to burn. Her body serves as a livewire conduit, that absorbs energy and redistributes it in it’s natural form-- Though obviously on a lesser scale. Once the energy is absorbed, it becomes a part of her-- Fused with her cells. If she isn’t careful, she can easily set things on fire. Quite a power house, no part of her can be touched if she looses control. The energy flows out from her quickly-- In searing waves, almost a plasma form, and burns everything that isn’t smart or fast enough to get away to a cinder. Most regular flame will not harm her-- She is already hotter than that if she’s using her powers. Water tends to evaporate before it touches her.
She has mourned the loss of many an outfit that way.
Her emotions trigger her mutation, she can also call it fourth by will alone-- Although she isn’t so good at shutting it down. She does have a natural psionic focus that allow her to attempt to direct the energy-- Though she is poor at it. She has managed to make an unstable orb the size of a tennis ball that has the power of a small bomb if thrown. If she maintains focus she can shoot a concentrated beam from her palm or finger tip-- It can make magma of rock, and slice through steel.
If she is locked in the darkness too long, she will grow tired, and eventually ill. Night is hard for her-- She can feel the sun setting, her main power source, like a kick to the stomach. Although if the moon is present, and unhidden, the reflected light-- Though less powerful than the sun, is more than enough to sustain her.
She comes to the Institute for help. She has been living in England because of the terrible weather. With little to no sun, her mutation is more easily managed… Though she is ill most of the time because of the lack of sun. She has more control than she used to, and now trusts herself around people, but she is still desperate for help. Everything she knows is self taught.

History: Narcissa was born in London, England-- The land of rain and tweed. She grew up with a very peaceful, if not completely normal life. Her mother works for Narcissa’s grandfather, Christopher Zale. Her mother originally came from the United States, but Christopher had decided that ‘Zales Diamonds’ needed to expand Internationally. Elizabeth was chosen of her other two siblings to begin the corporation in London-- And while there met one of the top curators for the British Museum ‘London’ Branch. Carlisle Lucania was a sweet man, funny-- Who never seemed to look his age. Elizabeth was taken with him, and not a year later they were married.
Life for Narcissa was easy, and perfect. She spent summers in the United States with her Grandfather, and went to London Elementary, and London Middle school during the year. She kept up her grades, and formed her own circle of friends- Though some were more vapid than others. Her parents tried to raise an unspoiled knowledgeable child-- And they partially succeeded. She was very, very intelligent. But at the same time, she became very spoiled, used to getting her way.
It was seven months after her 14th birthday that Carlisle was called by a the Columbian Museum curator-- They were friends, and often shared new finds. This time Rafael Bole had found something that he said Carlisle needed to ’See to believe’. So the family trip was scheduled for Narcissa’s next school vacation.
They went to Barranquilla, Columbia and were met at the airport with armored cars. Confused by this, the family did question it-- and that they were told that the streets were not always as safe as they looked. Especially for three beautiful, obviously wealthy individuals that did not speak the language. The first three days were peaceful, and Narcissa spent her time with her mother and the marketplace. They were escorted through the blistering heat, and no one really seemed to notice the usually pale child gain a slight glow. It could have been excused as natural-- unless one looked too close.
It was around high noon in the private courtyard of the villa that had been rented and furnished for them that Narcissa herself began to notice something wrong. She felt pressure all over her body, and unusually, but not uncomfortably warm. The grass under her feet blackened… Her clothing began to melt away unnoticed…The once barely noticeable glow began to brighten and blaze until nothing of the young woman could be seen… Flames licked outward from her as she grew lightheaded, crawling though the dry grass like wildfire. The pure white of the light, emitted a terrible heat that caused nearby trees to catch fire and burn. The low hanging eaves of the villa easily blackened as they began to catch fire.. The once almost peaceful light around her began to swirl furiously, burning outward as the light became tainted and red.
She awoke covered in a blanket, in the arms of a stranger, who seemed to be sucking the deathly light and heat away from her. It was like a cooling breeze to her aching skin, and she slipped back into the blackness exhausted.
Sirens could be heard in the distance, panicked screams of those running around-- Behind Narcissa, the Villa was happy burning to the ground-- Part of it seeming completely blown away.
She was found alone by her smoke stained, soot smudged mother as the fire was slowly being contained--
It was attributed to arsonists.
Through her time there, Narcissa stayed indoors. Every time she walked outside, she could feel that familiar warmth and pressure… Part of her wanted it. Part of her feared it whole heartedly- She did not understand.
Worried that the family was being targeted-- Mr Bole hired local help to keep the family safe for the rest of his stay. Rafael was good friends with Esperanza Stone of Barvaria Brewery, and she was happy to lend some of her security. Among them was a boy perhaps a year her senior, with a stern expression and dark sunglasses. Carlos, he called himself-- And weather it was fate or chance, Narcissa recognized him.
He had been the boy that had taken the light and fire from her the day she burned the villa down.
For a long time she avoided him-- But eventually they talked. His power allowed him to help her… Soon after that they became friends. Narcissa never asked how he knew to find her-- She was only grateful that he had.
They kept in touch, and every time Carlisle made a visit to Baranquilla, Narcissa at least accompanied him. Narcissa practiced her powers during those trips with her father, and tried to hide it every other time. She learned many things from Carlos, about his family and people. It was around that time that she learned some humility- Even if outwardly she was still spoiled as ever.
She was sixteen when her parents finally discovered that she was a mutant-- Causing all the random fires and burn marks. Her mother was shocked-- Her father, very resigned . She accidentally set her bed on fire while reading a hurtful text message from one of her friends. She tried to call the fire back to her, but it wasn’t working… The smoke detectors went off, and her parents woke and ran to her room, only to find her bed linens a smoking mess. Narcissa had tried to put it out with water… At first they were both furious-- Thinking that she had taken up smoking, as so many teenagers did… The more they questioned her, the more panicked Narcissa got. All the burned holes in her clothes, in the carpet, curtains, sofa’s-- That had to be it… So they mentally pushed her.
Backed up against her closet door, her hand on her computer desk-- She began to smell burning wood. Her parents were looking at her in shock-- And she caught sight of herself in the mirror. Her eyes had gone completely white, her body glowing, features unreadable. Clothes burned away…Hair fluttering in an invisible wind, each strand glowing just as brightly as she was. Looking down at her hand, jerked it back-- Leaving a burned hand print in the solid oak desk.
It was her father who suggested the X Academy. They could more than afford the tuition-- And friends with similar problems had told him good things about it. Her mother was less sure-- And seemed almost catatonic. She seemed to agree.
So it was decided that Narci would go to the United States-- No matter how much it was against her will.

Her mother never really approved of her father's antics and divorced Donovan when Siona was eight. Calliope moved her daughter to New York to be near her sister and Siona's cousin, Evelyn. Siona confided in her cousin her misery in New York. Her father was more fun and more free. He also never did anything to put Siona in harms way. At the age of 10, Siona ran away from home and met up with her father in Las Vegas. Knowing that her daughter would run again, if she brought the law in, Calliope agreed to give Donovan join custody of Siona. During the summer months of the year, Siona would spend time with him and learn all she could about his trade. When she was 12, her mutant ability started to come to light and she quickly gained the nickname "Lady Luck." Siona was so innocent in what she was doing, that things always seemed to go her way. It wasn't until she was older and started becoming more careless and selfish, that her powers didn't seem to be the greatest in the world. When she was 14, Siona's father was arrested for running an illegal gambling ring. Her mother forced her back to New York. While attending high school, she started her own underground gambling circuit and became a formidable foe. Although, she often was known for losing big while seemingly having a hot streak. Most people seemed to gravitate towards her because of her Texas charm even though she was formidable. Siona always considered herself fortunate that she could hide her mutant abilities. At 15, she was offered a position at the Xavier Institute at the behest of her cousin. Siona rejected the offer feeling like she'd be expected to be a goody two shoes and would have to quit the activities that she loves. During the Genosha incident, Siona was stuck in "Mutant Town." While trying to leave the city, she and her companions were attacked by several mutant haters. Siona had no problem using her ability to bring down a house on the men by strategically throwing a lit cigarette causing an explosion. Survival was her only concern. She then took Emma Frost's recruitment offer for the Institute. With students of all types entering, she was sure she wouldn't have to change who she was to ensure she had a warm bed and a meal on the table. While on the Hellions, Siona went with the team to Genosha on a humanitarian effort. Here she was kidnapped by a deranged mutant named Sugar Man. He used a syrum and transformed her into the worst vision of herself: a ruthless mutant named Roulette. Roulette had Siona's power but amped up to perfection and to a point where she could force bad luck on others. With the help of the New Mutants and Hellions, Roulette was defeated and reverted back to Siona's form but not without it's consequences. After this event, Siona became distant, moody, and paranoid. All of which were a far cry from the happy-go-lucky cowgirl. Slowly, she started to regain herself while not forgetting what happened to her. These experiences started to bring out a side in Siona where she began to have more regard for her teammates and the people around her. The biggest key to this was that during the curing process, she discovered she was related to Isabella Stone which seemed an impossible feat since both have clear visions of their father that don't coincide. During a trip to Las Vegas, Siona managed to take home the top prize in a million dollar pot. While the event was going on, Siona's teammates were being captured by an unknown enemy and some turned into vile soldiers like she once had. With the quick thinking of Isabella, Siona, Tath, and Forellen, the team planned an escape only to be stopped by these super soldiers. In the fight to save their friends, Siona was responsible for giving Thomas and Michael the antidotes to start their turn back to good. This was a significant change in character for her. Prior to her studies at the Institute, Siona would have had no qualms about running and saving herself despite the others.

Forellen has the ability to absorb, store and manipulate viral DNA. With a touch and some time she can draw out any kind of viral infection from a person. Once she’s drawn it out her body attacks the virus and breaks it down. Once it’s broken down a sampling of its DNA and is then stored within her cells genetic memory. At will whenever she touches someone her body can manufacture an altered version of the virus and then inject it into the person she’s in contact with. Once infected the virus spreads rapidly through the victims’ body. Within anywhere from ten to fifteen minutes the person has a full-blown case of whatever Forellen infected them with. This lasts anywhere from fifteen minutes to an hour, depending on how healthy a person is, before the virus burns itself out regardless of what she infected them with. Because of the exposure to several very potent mutantagenic virus’s over the course of her year here Forellen’s power has adapted the ability to manufacture her own virus. This allows her to tailor a disease to a specific person or situation. Forellen is showing signs of developing the ability to shoot off poison bolts. Currently with her level of control she can only secrete a sticky liquid from her hands that dissolves on contact with skin. With a higher level of control (Probably around 10 to 12) she’ll start being able to actually develop the ‘bolts’ that her power would use. Abilities (not gained from mutation): Forellen is a very gifted artist. Well versed in a multitude of techniques she’s quite talented with a pain and easel. She is also a decent singer and not to bad at playing piano. She’s small, light and not very robust making her the slowest of whatever group she happens to be a part of. Her frail physical nature makes her an easier target for enemies and means that she needs someone with her on most missions to ensure that no harm comes to her. Personality: Forellen is a very refined young lady. Having been raised by her parents to be a proper lady she has a very aristocratic personality. She’s very polite to her elders and people in positions of authority. She however can come off as snobbish or aloft to her peers but she’s really quite pleasant to be around. Forellen is a live and let live kind of person. Though she believes that if it takes a display of strength to achieve peace then so be it. History:Forellen was born to two very upper class citizens in Paris France. She was a preemie born almost two months too soon. During those first few tentative weeks of her life she was confined to a respirator. Doctors didn’t give her much of a chance to survive and they said if she did then she’d be either physically or mentally handicapped. She not only survived but she proved them quite wrong. On a mental level that is. Physically she wasn’t very robust. As far as life went her parents were delighted that she had survived and had done their best to give her one of the best education that they could. Despite her beating the odds against her Forellen was always in and out of the hospital due to her frail physical nature. As she got older though the trips to the hospital became less frequent and it could also be noted that she was never in the hospital for any kind of illness. It was always her getting hurt somehow either by falling or trying to rough house with brother and his friends. With all the medical and blood work done on her during her life her parents had been informed ahead of time that her child was different. Her parents shrugged this off but did their daughters uniqueness away from proper society. Forellens’ education was done mostly through a tutor. She was a very bright student getting above average grades. Her mother and father also taught her how to be a proper lady. Delighted that their daughter was not only scholastically gifted but that she was also artistically gifted they began to put her through different courses, art, music and even singing lessons. She favored art and singing and while she was taught to play piano she herself found it a little boring for her tastes. It was about the time that the massacre at Genosha happened. It took a month or two for her parents to begin to see the ripples from the repercussions of that day. Forellens’ gift as it had been identified years before and her parents had been doing a good job of keeping it a secret decided that it was time to look for someplace to send their daughter. With such a heightened state of what could almost be described as paranoia regarding mutants Forellens’ parents feared for their daughters’ safety. As if by fate one day they received a letter of acceptance from Academy X. It would seem that a friend of Forellens’ family decided to go ahead and enroll Forellen. Grateful her parents quietly helped her pack and then helped her on her way. During her first year at the academy Forellen felt she had been thrown into this whole thing without much warning. From the first capture the flag exercise to there graduation from academy students to actual X-men. It had been a long and chaotic year but a good year over all. She made many new friends. Siona, Isabella, Gideon and even Narcissa and Anna were counted amongst them. After their graduation Forellen made use of their summer vacation to treat her friends with two weeks in Paris France. Unfortunately due to a few mishaps on the part of US immigrations Forellen couldn’t return to school right away. Being a French citizen they were giving her a hard time with the necessary paperwork that would allow her to come and go as she needed. But that was just a small hickup in her life that was quickly cleared up and she was allowed to return to school. She’s also the kind of person who will do her best to make sure everyone makes it through a mission in one piece and no one is left behind. Personal Weaknesses: She’s not the strongest person in the world and without a lot of shadows to support her neither are her powers. She can only move through shadows if she’s got one large enough for her to squeeze though. She’s also prone to acting before she thinks which usually lands her and whoever is with her into all kinds of trouble. Due to her powers she’s somewhat sensitive to bright lights and sudden flashes. Such a sudden bright flash of light could conceivably blind her for a few moments or disorientate her. Personality: Amber is a very hyper girl, always going here doing that. She’s very energetic and not very shy at all about meeting new people, going new places or jumping into a new situation no matter what situation or people she’s faced with. Hobbies: Anything she can do with 110% of her energy. This means she’s big into outdoors activities, sports and anything else she can do outdoors. Mutant/Human Relations View: She’s sort of on the fence as far as human mutant relations go. Having lost her father, a doctor and humanitarian working to help evacuate both mutant and non mutant civilians from the oncoming slaughter left her slightly bitter about it but she’s learning to cope. History: Amber was born in Dayton Ohio to two trauma doctors. Her father a mutant with power to seemingly alter the very DNA of other beings knew immediately that Amber was going to be a mutant and wanting to make her life as easy as he could registered her with the government. Otherwise Amber was a fairly typical baby, happy, healthy and louder then heck when she was hungry. Her mutant power manifested itself when she turned ten. Her mother came out of the house to tell her they were defiantly going to move and found her playing with a black mouse. Curious and concerned that it didn’t look right she had Amber bring it inside where they could take a better look at it. It lasted all of ten seconds under the kitchen light and they watched it dissolve back into the shadowy mist that had created it. Their daughter was a shadowmancer. Amber and her family moved to Genosha when her father had been transferred to staff a new hospital that had been built there. Him being a mutant and all. Despite the situation there her father maintained his neutrality and when after the battle in New York he made preparations to move his wife and daughter off the island while he himself remained behind to help evacuate the patients at the hospital and those who wanted to leave before the government retaliated against Magneto. He was not seen or heard from again and that left Amber slightly bitter. Her mother did her best to keep her from going over the edge and in turn Amber helped her mother from loosing it over his loss. When Amber turned sixteen her school did a tour of Genosha as sort of a project on just how hate could get out of hand and to help begin the rebuilding process. While exploring with her class Amber broke off from them. She wanted to see if she could find her father. She found the ruins of the hospital he had been working on quickly enough as they were beginning in that area and that’s when her troubles began. Character Picture:

Hair: Red, almost inhumanly so. Usually straight because of the length and weight but if she wants to it can hold a curl very well.
Eyes: Green (luminescent in the dark, changes completely black when she blocks light from them, completely silver when she forces out a lot of energy)
Skin Tone: light, more so if you actually see her in person.
Height: 5 feet 8 inches Weight: 135 pounds Build: She has some muscle definition because of her life style but it's obvious just by her shape that she wasn't built to be a fighter. Meaning she’s basically got more curves than her share.
Race/Nationality: She's American but her adopted family had traces of being Irish. Anything other than that is Unknown.
Notable Characteristics: She's also able to mimic a "posh" -as her old friend liked to call it- English accent almost perfectly if she tries. Her eyes change colors depending on the strength and way she's using her powers -black if she's using them a lot, and they flash a shining white/silver just as she's expelling a force in excess.
Uniform: Her uniform is made up of a few different pieces. She has a basic black bodysuit that has a reinforced bodice to secure her in. Her boots go up to her mid-thighs go over the bodysuit while having an unseen attachment at the top of them. She also had a bright red sash-like belt to fit around her waist which hides a small pouch. The last piece of her uniform is a pair of shoulder length gloves the fit right over the end of her uniform's sleeves and have an unseen attachment just like her boots.. She usually just leaves her hair down.
Standard Dress: Shandra dresses very casually, most would believe her to be too casually dressed. Her standard wear is a pair of boy's cargo pants, preferably black or tan, and a baggy tee-shirt or long sleeved shirt -sometimes both. She often has another, tighter, long sleeved shirt under her shirts even if it is summer because the sport shirts have more built in support which makes it easier for her to move quicker. Also she's grown found to gloves so that's not an unusual sight to see on her. However, she can be seen in more feminine clothes now, just not very often and not too early, but her pants remain cargos.
Place of Birth: She wouldn't know, she was adopted.
Family: Biological mother and father are unknown.
Adoptive Family: Her mother, Loretta Tarvan, is 37, blond and soft spoken, a trait that Shandra picked up. Her father, Kyle Tarvan, is 37 as well with brown hair and tends to stay very quiet around Shandra.
Superhuman Ability: Shandra can block things from herself and others with a conscious thought. She's immune to toxins or any type of poison, although if she swallowed or breathed it in then she's practically immobilized while she expels it. (known abilities done in list form for more detail) ---She can block all of the senses of a person in relation to herself and what she’s holding. However, if she’s holding on to another person she can only block others senses in regards to their scent, their visibility, and their sound. (this first one took the longest to learn as it encompasses a lot of things in itself and is a base to a lot of things.) ---She can make a push like force to act as a quick barrier in varying degrees, the smaller ones actually take more concentration than larger ones. (this is also the base of most things so it took a while to get under control as well.) ---She can use her push forces to keep back things that aren’t tangible as well. ---her body and blood naturally rejects anything that isn’t either good for her, or naturally needed by the body. This has many cons for everyday life as well. ---She can fade in and out of senses, one at a time if she wanted to, as well as fade back in much easier. ---She can push a whole area of rejection around her and keep it up for about a minute of constant smaller pushes after the first. This causes her to slightly hover in her place as though she were literally the center of the rejection area. ---She can reject someone from hitting the ground by using energy to cushion them. The energy used is less of a “road” and more of a “pillow” or a trampoline.
Pros: Eclipse’s power ranges in many ways, allowing her to be both a great defense player, an infiltrator, or an attacking character.
Cons: Because of her ability her blood (Type A+) rejects any foreign toxins, making it both a liability and an asset because she can not control it, will reject any unnatural fats or chemicals that were put into foods, the air, or her directly. This will cause her to throw up every time she eats out at fast foods or places like that –but she can eat anything that is naturally made from animal or plant by-products. Also when she is cold her power to block the senses is nullified until she warms up a little because her mind is too preoccupied with being uncomfortable for her to concentrate on keeping herself undetected. Sometimes her pushes are a little unstable and dangerous for her to use around others because if she can’t concentrate she often does ones that are too large and hurt those around her.
Abilities (not gained from mutation): She's a rather quick study and can usually theorize anything, although some things have been known to stump her. Also she has a basic grasp on Japanese, though her vocabulary is rather small. And because of the fact that she can't take modern medicine she's learned some natural herbal remedies and has a book or two on the subject. Over the years she’s learned how to defend herself along with improve her cooking.

Personal Strengths: She's good at thinking with a certain kind of detachment for a situation that has happened or will happen. Also she can think "out-side-of-the-box" to make an answer for something that doesn't already have one. Shandra is also good at keeping herself in shape because when she doesn't want to think about something she over exerts herself physically not to mention the fact that she can't anything that isn't naturally from the Earth. She tends to be a good friend for the people who are quiet themselves, and often tends to play the typical cancerian mother-like figure as much as she tries to stop herself.
Personal Weaknesses: She tends to doubt herself to make much head-way in being the leader. She's much more comfortable letting others decide what to do because she doesn't take the pressure of a decision well. However, sometimes her temper at what has happened can leave her in a very bitter attitude with people. She often tries to make up for what she thinks she’s done wrong and that itself can go very wrong. And for situations which she has no basis for, she’s often at a loss. Shandra is also still jaded about relationships in general.
Personality: She's quiet and sometimes can come off as awkward. But she's the kind of girl that will sit back and learn from everyone else's noise...if someone can get her to pay attention. And if anyone could ever get her to dress up they'd find themselves feeling very proud because even though she doesn't like to dress up at first she usually has this shinning deposition around her afterwards. There are times when a whole new look can changes the way she thinks but soon, when reminded of the world, she'll fall back into place.
In a way Shandra is like a little -quiet- kid. People don't expect much from her but when she actually goes to do something they are all surprised at the level she's capable of doing. That's probably because she doesn't like revealing many things about herself, something about making her feel too vulnerable or some such stuff. Because of her attempt at guarding her caring nature she often has “leaky” moments were she goes into almost a mothering or big sister mode. However, once someone has crossed a certain line, that stereotypical redheaded temper and passion shows it’s face.
Hobbies: She loves to read fantasy books and she loves to watch movies. She doesn't have too many hobbies otherwise unless someone was to count all the training she puts herself through when she doesn't want to think about something. Now a days someone could find her playing games of all sorts if she has a friend to play with, watching mostly anything, cooking, and just overall walking about.
Mutant/Human Relations View: In a way she sees Mutants as being superior, only because they are logically the more evolved of the two people. But she doesn't think just because of that, that humans should be forced to worship or work for them necessarily.

Age 17: She heard a rumor of a school for mutants, or at least a boarding house. Being weary from being on her own for three years Shandra made her way over to Charles Xavier's school, stopping every so often. One of these stops had been at a movie set where's she'd played a part of a helping "ghost".
Age 17 (in the school): She was put on the Hellion team and soon faced a decathlon of sorts. After that was some relaxing time, or it was supposed to be, in Vegas but that went horribly askew. She'd jump the gun on the getting out bit and completely backed out of the fighting when she found a way too. Soon after that the Hellions got a new leader, Derrik, and he tried to be nice and take them all out to an expensive brunch. Of course, as all things must at the school, that didn't turn out well either and they got pulled into another realm/world.
Age 17/18 time lapse in Honeycut: When they arrived in that other world they found out that they had to rescue not only a royal family of faeries but two of their captured school mates as well. The Hellions, including Shandra, went up against Trolls -where she "met" Antonio when he threw one at her, Giant snakes, and a Dragon.
Age 18: The three times arrived back at the school, only to find out that half a year had past and it was already winter. So most of the students, Shandra included, went shopping for Christmas. Not too long after that, this time there at least had been a breath of rest, the school went under attack where some students (the Stones) were taken. (She'd also gotten a box of organic chocolate from Brian.) And of course the Hellions, Paragons, and New Mutants needed to go take back the lost schoolmates. Once they did a whole other kind of mess started.
After a while of some "time out" and "group bonding", Derrik led the hellions, and some others, in a rebellion against Gideon and the school in General. Shandra went along with it since she thought she'd been too hard on Derrik and ended up pinning Gideon to the wall. Forellen, however, put a stop to it by temporarily blocking her powers with an engineered virus. So after some wobbling time, Shandra and Brian tried to meet back up where they were supposed to. (This is where the future Arch happened. At this time Shandra was a manipulative thief who played around with people for the fun of it or just for the challenge.)
When the revolt had been abandoned, Shandra uncertainly went back to the mansion. Not too long after the students were taken to Muir island on an educational vacation. This was the time when she actually got to talk to some of the people here and there, not much but still more than she had been before, but of course all good things have to come to an end. On a field trip, most of the teams had been captured by the Hellfire club. When Shaw poisoned the air around them, Shandra tried her best to make sure that like her the other students had clean air...buying some of them precious minutes and finding out that they actually kind of listened to her.
After they got back yet another thing rolled into them...prom. Shandra had been asked by Mason to go, and she hesitantly told him yes. During the prom, Antonio and Mason got into a fight (Antonio had kissed her after he’d swung from the chandelier, and Mason –with his mind animalized- didn’t take that well), she danced with Carlos, and taught Mason the basic Fox Trot.
The year after seemed almost normal compared to all of that, but that might have been because she’d gotten used to it. After she graduated from High School that spring, Shandra had decided to take a bit of time off from school. When the fall schedule started up, however, she was back in classes with much better control of her powers because of the practice she’d been doing instead of going to college. Syrens Symphony UPDATED - 7-17-09Name: Adelle Taylor – Adie to her friends Codename: Shard Team: Alpha Age: 20 Birthday: December 13th, 1991 Hair: Light blonde with a few natural highlights. It falls in natural curls down to the middle of her back. Eyes: Her eyes are a piercing blue, constasting sharply with the white-blonde of her hair. Skin Tone: Adelle is soft pink skin, which is pale, but flawless. As she spends more time outside she does tan, but her skin is always a lighter tone, just like her hair. Height: 5’10” Weight: 127 lbs Build: She is extremely flexible, and athletic, as she loves to be involved with sports. She is an Olympic level gymnast, and was scheduled to be a part of the Olympic team, though she was unable to attend due to an ankle injury. Race/Nationality: Adelle is Caucasian, with some German ancestry. Notable Characteristics: Her most notable characteristic is a tattoo on her lower hip, which is hardly ever visible. It is a small black ahnk, showing her fascination with ancient Egyptian history. Uniform: Considerably more revealing than her previous uniform, it consists of two pieces. The darker blue fabric is a synthetic weave that is much stronger than it looks, though it appears to look like an oiled latex and breaths like cotton. Her midriff is completely exposed, and the waistline of the bottom piece forms a deep V, though still tasteful. She wears a pair of elbow-length gloves and a knee-high boots to complete the ensemble. The gloves are the same material as the rest of the outfit, but the boots are made of leather, and have a 2" heel on them. There are two metal arm bands that connect a very thin, glowing blue wire to her gloves, some piping along the legs of the suit also shining the same color. That is so the suit phases as she does, leaving her constantly clothed in the heat of battle. She loves to wear things that show off her figure, while at the same time cover the things that need to be covered. It is rare for her to be seen in something other than heels or boots, but this does occasionally happen. Her favorite colors to wear are black, and red. She still hates anything the color pink. Superhuman Ability: Adelle has the ability to “de-molecularize” herself, allowing her to “walk through” any solid object. Because of this, she also has developed very limited teleportation abilities, meaning that she can travel instantly from one place to another, though there are certainly limits. One, she has to be able to see where she is going the first time she teleports there. In addition to this, she can take up to three people with her at a time. A recent manifestation of her powers is that she can spread her molecules extremely thin, giving her a transparent appearance. In the dark, this can almost appear to be invisibility. In this state, however, she has a hard time gripping solid objects, and unlike her phasing, this does not trasmit to other people. Recently, she has been working on being an offensive player, learning how to use knives and small weapons in combat. Paired with her quickness and flexibility, she is a force to be reckoned with. Furthermore, she is able to think on her feet, and while she might not always “follow the plan”, she is known for delivering. She is also good when it comes to motivating those around her, even if it might be in a different way than most. Furthermore, she is infintely more confident in herself and her abilities than she was as a student, and from that she has become more emotionally open. She had changed from the shy girl that would almost never start a conversation with someone to a girl that knows what she wants and how she wants to get it. This has lead her to become more of a leader, putting her always caring nature into more use in an attempt to help the younger students as she was helped when she came to the Academy. Her level of physicality is also a plus and she is, as mentioned before, an Olympic level gymnast. Personal Weaknesses: At times, Adelle can now get so preoccupied with other people and trying to help them that she sometimes forgets to take care of herself. Furthermore, her genuine want to help can quickly turn into over-protection of those closest to her, as well as emotional distress when she is worried something might be wrong. She still feels a need for validation from other people, particularly Thomas and her closest friends. It is because of this that she had an intense fear of failure, and will thusly over work herself in an attempt to compensate for her shortcomings, even then they may not be there. Personality: In the past year, Adie has blossomed from the shy girl that couldn't hardly stand to start a conversation with someone she didn't know, to a girl that flits from one social circle to the next. She always has time for her close friends, though at this point she considers herself on good terms with pretty much everyone. While she can sometimes be a "mother hen" to those she cares most about, she genuinely cares for those around her, and will do whatever it takes to keep them out of danger. She is still as easy to talk to as ever, and she still considers herself a good listener, which most people would agree with. Hobbies: Adelle is very gifted when it comes to performance arts. She is very talented when it comes to dancing, and enjoys doing so in the privacy of her own room. It is the same with singing – particularly when it comes to jazz music. Furthermore, she is very talented when it comes to gymnastics, and was once offered a spot on the Olympic team, though due to an injury she was unable to compete. She loves to read, and sometimes even writes, though no one ever sees her own work. Currently, she is on a classical literature kick, and can't get enough old books! View on Human/Mutant Relations: She really wants peace between the mutants and the humans, which stems from her want for acceptance. She wants, more than anything, to lead a “normal life”, and she feels that by bridging the gap between them, this is the first step towards achieving this, without subjecting herself as a mutant to the persecution of the humans. She understands that there is nothing wrong with her, but she wants others to see this as well. History: Adelle was born to Michael and Janice Taylor, in the suburbs of Boston. As a child, she grew up happily, her parents being active members of the political community. As a child she did gymnastics and won several honors and competitions. This, of course, made her parents extremely proud, but they also began to push her into that life more than a girl of 13 or 14 would really be interested in. While she had always been different from the other kids, she did not know that things were about to get a whole lot more complicated. As the hand of her parents began to tighten around what she could and could not do, since everything she did reflected back on her parents, Adelle did what any 15 year old girl would do. She rebelled. Flirting with older men, sneaking out at night to hang out with the wrong crowd, getting involved in shop lifting and even smoking for a little while, she did everything she could think of that her parents forbade her from doing, just for the act of doing it. Of course, for fear of getting caught she tried to be as discrete as possible, and avoid all media attention. One particular night, her powers first manifested when a fight broke out at the party she was at. One of the brawlers pulled out a gun, though when someone tackled him to the floor, the gun fired, straight in Adelle's direction. The bullet hit the wall directly behind her, and as it turned out, she had phased directly through the bullet. She had never been shot at before, hell, she had never even been in a room with a gun, and because of that, she suddenly found herself very afraid. Terrified, she ran home and tried to sleep, thinking that this was all just some weird dream or coincidence. However, as she was having a nightmare about  the whole shooting incident, her emotions running wild, she phased straight through the bed and floor, landing on a coffee table in the living room. Her parents came out to find a very confused, scared Adelle and it was then that she told them everything that she had been doing. They decided to send her to therapy for a while, since she was 16, and rather than rejoin the lifestyle she had left behind, Adelle threw herself into her school and gymnastics, which she excelled in. She worked so hard that she was offered a spot on the U.S. Olympic team, which she was all too happy to accept. However, during a training session, her powers manifested themselves once more while she was working on a complicated balance beam routine. She phased straight through the beam as she attempted to land a backflip, her ankle smashing into the steel supports for the beam. And that was the end of her Olympian career for the time being. However, as Adelle tried to explain what happened to her parents, there was only one explanation that they could come up with. Her Uncle was a mutant, and therefore it was entirely possible that the gene had been passed on to her. Consulting the family physician, who would keep all of this quiet, a DNA test confirmed that she did carry the Mutant X gene, and he recommended that she find a way to get more control over her powers, so they were not manifesting themselves at random, inopportune times. While her parent's researched where the best place to send her was, Adie practiced her powers in private, only really  going out to go to school. She was starting to get the hang of it, though they did not always work when she wanted them to, but at least she was able to keep from phasing through things when she did not want to. At the end of the semester, her parents announced that they were going to be sending her to Xavier's Academy, and that she really did not have a choice in the matter. Adie was none to happy with this decision, especially because it meant leaving behind all the friends and life that she had worked so hard to form here. However, she agreed to go along with it, grumbling the whole way. If she was going to have to go to a school for mutants, at least it was a nice one from what she had seen in the brochure. Since arriving at the Academy, Adelle has taken to it like a fish takes to water. She has mane several new friends in Kryhin, Isabella and Carlos, and even has a small crush on someone, who shall remain nameless. Everything seems to be falling into place, including her powers. Control is still sporadic, but the missions she has been involved in have really helped her hone her abilities, and she has never felt better really. Looking forward to a semester of classes at her new school, Adelle started the new semester with not a care in the world. Things were progressing with Thomas, and the two finally had the chance to go out on a date, just the two of them, on which Thomas asked Adelle to "go steady" with him before he kissed her. It was one of the most romantic moments she ever experienced, but even that was cut short with the announcement that the Hellions were now attacking the school in an attempt to get Gideon.  The pair returned to the school, breaking apart to help different teams as the onslaught continued. Adie did her best to move the injured to the infirmary, but with all the chaos around her, it only made it that much more obvious that she needed to step up her training again. These chaotic situations seemed to be too much for her, and she found that she had a hard time getting complete control of where she was phasing / teleporting when she was in an extremely stressful situation. As it wound to a close, she found her confidence shaken in the school and the other teams, wandering who could find justification for attacking their friends and home? How can things go back to the way they were? History: Tath grew up in the mountains of Tibet not knowing his father but not knowing him didn't affect him that much. He was very proud he was his son because when he was young and asked his mom about his dad she told him the story. The reason his father wasn't around was not because he ran out but because he died on the night Tath was born. The villagers there saw what the babies eyes looked like along with the skin and hair and thought he was born of the devil So his father protected his mother and him as they escaped. He gave his life defending them and though he was sad his dad wasn't around he was filled with immeasurable pride for him. As he grew up he also knew of the hate from other villages where they tried to live all accusing him of being the devils child. For a long time they lived outside of a monastery where he studied often and one town almost a days travel away living off the land. He was a farmer and he tilted the grounds and grew crops for his mother and him to eat. He was young but the monks taught him everything he needed to know about living off the land. Every so often he would take trips into the mountains to get meat but in his free time he trained with the monks. The monks were very kind to him and his mother even though he didn't look like everyone else. He learned martial arts and meditation from the monks as was their standard practice. It wasn't until he was 13 that things started to decline. The monks treated them well but the closest village learned of them staying there and started to make their lives difficult. The children and sometimes the men of the village would take the trip out to throw rocks at their house. They would damage the crops and sometimes even attack him. Though nothing had been serious or fatal yet the attacks were quickly escalating. One night a couple years later they got news from the monks that the villagers were coming to their house. His mother quickly packed up the necessities in the house as he went out and packed a lot of food for them to live off of for a whole. This was not a permanent solution though and they knew they had to find a new home soon. They rushed over to the monastery to hide while the villagers burned down their house. The smoke and flames of their house and fields were easily seen for miles during the dead of night. They had hoped the villagers would give up and go home leaving them in peace. Sadly they did not and rested near their house for the night until they started their search for him again. Tath was going through his daily routine at the monastery laying low for a bit before they traveled away to find a new place. The sun was setting over the mountains when the light from torches were seen approaching the monastery. The monks had rushed out to defend the two and try to persuade the villagers to go home and not to spill blood on holy ground. Though the monks trained in martial arts they preferred not using them and tried to reason with them. The villagers however were undeterred and quickly made their way to the monastery. As the two were hiding the villagers ransacked the monastery looking for them. They heard them enter the door to the hut and start searching it for them as they hid under the floor boards. It wasn't until they started ripping the floor boards up that they were getting worried. They hurried to the back corner of hut hoping they could hide with sweat dripping down their faces. The next thing both of them knew they were at over a mile away on the mountain looking down at the monastery and their old home. Without hesitation they ran from the area towards the next big city hoping to be able to hide in the crowd. As they continued to travel he asked his mom what just happened and she told him the full story of what happened on his birth. His father dying to defend him was correct but the way they escaped was the same way they just had. When he was a baby and the villagers were fighting his father and they rushed into the room Tath had transported them to safety a long ways away from the village in front of some of the villagers. She knew he had a gift but he had never shown it until this day again. She had heard of a school in America that taught and trained special people. Which is why when he was younger she had him learn at a monastery, he learned how to fight, meditate to hopefully control his abilities, reading, writing and speaking a couple different languages. Zephyr Aryn Name:Krithyn Codename: Nitemare Academy X Student Team:paragon Age: 17 Birthday:6/6/91 Hair: Krithyn has long, black hair that flows to her waist, with bangs that are swept off to her right, covering part of her right eye. There are some orange streaks that melt through her bangs, but diffuse before they reach much past her chin. Eyes:Her eyes are a bright green, and much more brilliant than the normal human green eyes. (Since there is no category for teeth, I will stick it here. Her canines are just a little more prominent than a normal human's, and tend to show more when she smiles.) Skin Tone: Krithyn has eerily pale skin. When in gargoyle form, her skin is a deep charcoal. Height: She is pretty short; around 5' 1". Weight:She weighs around 117 pounds, but her weight increases when iin part or full gargoyle form. (Her full form is not yet mastered at this time.) Build: Although she doesn't have much for a body or curves, her arms and legs do show that she does have muscle. (She is often underestimated due to this fact, but some wonder if the gargoyle tattoo gives her some added strength.) When in gargoyle form, her muscle mass does increase. Race/Nationality:Krithyn is a caucasian mix. Her heritage cannot be traced to a single ancestry, but it is known that she has Scottish, Irish, French, German, Italian, and Cherokee blood. (There are smaller concentrations of other scattered cultures, but they are too small to be of much influence.) Noteable Characteristics:Quite strangely, Krithyn was born with a tattoo of a gargoyle on her right upper shoulder blade. The gargoyle itself is a deep charcoal color with glowing green eyes and green wing webbing. There are orange markings on the right shoulder and down the arm. Uniform:Krithyn wears long, black boots that end just above the knee with orange and green accents. She also has long, black netted gloves that have the fingers cut off, which extend to a little past her elbows. In some areas there are holes from past mutations. She wears a green tube top with black stitching. (I need to decide what it looks like yet.) Over that, she had a black, sleeveless coat with a high collar. It tapers to the back into split tails. To complete her uniform, Krithyn wears a short, black skirt with a slit up one side. She wears very short orange shorts underneath just so no one can look up her skirt. Her left leg also sports a wrap that can be somewhat visible past her skirt line. Standard Dress:Krithyn tends to wear a color scheme involving black, green, and orange. She likes comfortable clothing, especially cargo pants. Krithyn also adores gloves, so she wears short or sleeveless tops. Sometimes her clothes are torn from past mutations into part gargoyle form. The overall feel her clothes give is a punk/street style. Place of Birth:Strangely enough, she was born in rural Wisconsin. (Go figure...) Family:Krithyn was born into a farming family, the McHarmon family. Superhuman Ability:Krithyn was born with a tattoo of a gargoyle on her right upper shoulder blade. This tattoo fused a power inside her; the ability to mutate into a gargoyle...but only parts at a time. If she felt she needed wings, she'd sprout large, leathery gargoyle wings. If claws, Krithyn would have claws, etc. She also seems to get an added strength that applies to her even in human form. (At a later time, she may eventually master her abilities and be able to turn full gargoyle.) Abilities (not gained from mutation): Quite strangely, She also is fairly good at hand-to-hand, even though she doesn't know the fancy moves. Personality: Although she can be a little shy, she can and will break out of her shell. Sometimes Krithyn can get a little sarcastic, but she still means well...unless someone purposely hurts her. She will fight back, and is not afraid to give it her all, especially if there are friends or innocents on the line. She is very strong-willed and determined, and getting her to change her mind on matters she is set on is very hard to do. Although she has this stubborn nature, she is still a sweet and kind person when given the opportunity. Hobbies:She loves to draw, read, and write, although she prefers to keep thjis to herself and will hide it whenever someone passes by and wants to look. However, she will not hold back when it comes to her school work. Cousin - Siegfreid Hode Kaiser ( completely Invulnerable and above human strength) Superhuman Ability: Thomas is gifted with super speed, capable of running across two states within the span of 15 mins. As he runs his momentum is absorbed by his living cells and causes his organic being to convert into a living energy bolt composed of kinetic energy referred to as bioplasma. In short, he can become a living lightning bolt. The energy tends to propel him towards faster speeds, the faster he moves the purer and more intense the energy is. He gains the ability to fly at high speeds when more then 60% of his body converts. The energy is notably hot and burns through practically all other substances. If he comes to a stop he can hold his conversion for a number of minutes equal to the amount of kinetic charge he's built up. He is morphus in his energy form though usually the only form adoptable at high speeds is something sleek and streamlined. He has shown versatility in turning his entire body into a buzzsaw ring, a drill, a sphere, and even stretching out to form a thin but effective barrier wall. Curiously any energy mass loss doesn't reflect on his organic form but vice versa is a different story. He regains energy mass by moving. Should he not have enough energy mass to equal the original amount of mass in which he started with his left over energy becomes unstable and causes him extreme pain forcing him to move until the proper mass to return to normal is regained. His bioplasmic form is composed of light particles and kinetic energy and is a reddish and violet color, his voice comes out staticy. He can maneuver pretty well but loses much of the ability at higher speeds. His power is also passive he cannot turn it off, therefore normally he is always warmer or hot to the touch and seemingly glows. The more charged he is the faster his acceleration. He can go 0 - 60 MPH in 3.5 seconds, fully converted this could change to 0 - 1400 MPH (Mach 2) in just 0.5 seconds. He can attain the speed of light fully converted within 4.5 minutes, and cannot maneuver properly as he is practically teleporting. His energy form is slightly more durable, physical attacks would be useless but extreme impacts can disperse his energy matrix. He can run vehicles speeds up to 90 MPH almost indefinitely, subsonic speeds 30 mins at a time, and supersonic for 15 mins. The time spent at light speed or beyond is roughly 2 mins, enough to cross atleast half a continent. He has alot of energy but his power burns through his metabolism like a match to gasoline, resulting in a robust eating habit. His energy conversion prevents him from touching others and substances not treated to resist his high heat energy. He looses maneuverability at higher speeds, and flies blind with tunnel vision. Powers are hard to hide as simply walking at a normal pace causes him to glow a faint red, and steam to rise from his form. He can only use his powers at max for for a short time, after which he becomes fatigued and hungry. He can be bounced off reflective surfaces. Bioplasmic form has violent allergic reaction to vibranium. He can also communicate via telepathy to his family members when they are within a couple of miles. He is Immune to the powers of all his brothers and Sisters. Abilities: His observation skills help him perceive things others might miss making him an excellent detective. Years of spelunking with his parents and siblings in ancient tombs has made him adept at forensics. Though empathicly impaired, he has an understanding of human behavior that allows him to accurately profile most individuals. He's very adept at financial affairs, as such he can do taxes, balance a checkbook, and predict the stock market. After being kidnapped twice as a child with his sisters, he's learned Sambo a Russian martial art. After losing his arm his focus went into refining kicks, and using his single arm as a defense, his new hybrid of Sambo uses Lucha Libre, Capoeira, and Kick Boxing, to round out his fighting style but is still imperfect. He is an all around excellent Athlete, running aside, He rock climbs, Scuba dives, and fences. 12/18/08 Update Thomas has always since the lost of his arm come to use a prosthetic replacements usually offering a mechanical advantage and built in features useful for mundane matters. Now however after a few adventures and trials of those artificial limbs, his relatives have completed a permanent solution. A new arm built and tested with various experimental technologies was given to Thomas after a fairy tale adventure away from the real world. The arm is nearly indestructible, and with a nanotech connection that can survive even if Thomas shifts into his energy form, It'll use repulsor tech to stay with him as if he was still solid. Seeing the danger Thomas has already been through some of the features have been re tuned to deal with danger scenarios. The holographic communications system now incorporating a complex force field system to make images solid can now project small force shields for protection. What was an analytical system was weaponized for just in case and as a vent should Thomas decide to cancel his transformation all at once. The Arm still includes a dampening unit to keep his powers in check but it was down scaled as the arms unique and expensive material can do most of the work. A rocket propelled blade anchor was also added with an eighty foot titanium cable. As usual an advanced PDA was installed this time around using the the holo and shielding systems to project an interface and even if desired a Simple A.I Secretary. The arm itself though offering many advantages is still a machine, and will never be as fast as Thomas himself or be able to convert to energy and thus slip into space where only it is allowed. The connection to the arm permanent, is with the help of a modified nanotech that can survive in even the total energy being of thomas transformed and still pick up his neurological and mental commands to his arm. Should Thomas and this new arm become separated the Nanites should allow Thomas to home in on it, and he can even control it to some degree. Power Levels: Physical Strength: 5 Power Mastery: 3 Speed: 10 Durability: 5 Intelligence: 8 Energy: 7 Agility: 7 Personal Strengths: Thomas is extremely self reliant and efficient, owing much to his mother, who taught him to manage everything and make sure it's done right. He has a "just get it done and done right" attitude towards things, and isn't beyond double or triple checking things particularly if it comes to safety so long as the task gets done. He's pretty down to earth and a center of calm, not one to abuse his powers or his wealth. Personal Weaknesses: Hates Sentinels with a blinding passion. Easily aloof, and has the worst sense of direction. He's easily Social but is awkward and seemingly cold. His being a center of calm can become irritable to some, particularly those who want him to smile or provoke him. Personality: Contrary to his zippy powers, he likes to take things slow and easy, and can be lazy with disinterest. Losing his arm has made him somewhat bitter and overly aggressive in maintaining his independence. At heart he's mostly intellectual. He has Asperegers Syndrome, a form of Autism. The sum of his traits is an individual who is calm, collected, in control, and awkward. He can get along with people easily but his autistic qualities make him unable to register emotions properly, making him seem cold hearted. Superstitious, likes reading his horoscope and plans his day to include it. He is infatuated with the paranormal though has no interest in studying or using magic. He dislikes combat, and with or without the use of his powers will try to end it quickly. Though lazy, he does work hard at everything he does and hates being accused of not wanting to get his hands dirty or that he'll throw money at a problem. Hobbies: Rock n' Roll, snowboarding, the beach, and lounging around lazily. likes to read mysteries, and likes to solve them. He's the kind of guy to watch CSI and know the outcome in under ten minutes. If he's not reading a mystery he's reading something from the big dusty and ancient category. He continues (or would like to) spelunk tombs and caves, and is a big fan of rock climbing and repelling. Mutant/Human Relations View: He has a high degree of pity for humans and only hates the anti-mutant zealots who would advocate Sentinels. Other then that, he considers himself neutral. But if you bump he'll bump back. History: It was a long time ago in Egypt, where Dr. Hilde Kaiser met her husband, Dr, Anu'resh Ramius. Both met at an archeological dig within an ancient tomb. It would be during an extreme circumstance that she rose to the occasion and saved the man's life. They discovered not only priceless artifacts in the successful dig, but also love. They continued on together several campaigns, acquiring a massive fortune in the process and giving birth to two children, a son Zander and just a few short years after, a daughter Anna. Around this time they decided to settle buying into some land and building a home. Their decision yielded fantastic surprises. A small Tomb on their land entered into a diamond mine. This boosted their fortune and their children now young adults, they decided to move and try living in the states. Anu'resh stayed in Egypt to oversee the mines and several other projects, while his wife Hilde managed the money and family in the U.S. Setting up a ranch in Texas a third child Allen was born. Things in the U.S however went sour, first and foremost with Allen at the age of 16 running away just as anti-mutant sentiment started to rise. Not able to find Allen and with new children on the way, Mrs. Ramius fled back to Egypt. In Alexandria this is where the complicated birthing of the Ramius Quadruplets took place. Three identical sisters, and the one fraternal brother, Norma, Alma, Brenda, and Thomas. These children displayed strong qualities as early as 2 years and were prided on. Within eight years the children were bright and very much cared for. Things seemed to go well until they were kidnapped. The ransom more than equal to half the family fortune never came, instead the three eldest Zander, Anna, and even Allen who had been tracked down, came and rescued the quads and for a time the family was gathered a reunion very special to this day. Though all four of the new children were special, it was the odd one out Thomas, who showed alot of exception. His development was remarkable and his interest for learning had him accompanying his father into crypts and tombs with his own tool kit. Very soon it was his tutors that complained they could not teach him as he was too fast in his studies and far ahead. By the time he was twelve he was considered the next golden child of the family, second only to his elder brother Zander. While in a visit to Germany, the quads were once again kidnapped by remnants of the former group that did so the first time. Older and more able the children fought for themselves but it was Thomas who drove them off as elder brother Zander appeared to save them again. Before he had arrived to save them, Thomas had stood up several times being beaten down but not willing to give up. At age fourteen near death from assault in trying to escape, Thomas latent mutant abilities came to bare and helped tremendously in his renewed and more successful attempt at protecting his sisters. After the ordeal a new type of tutor in order to teach them to better defend themselves was hired for the quads. For awhile the family was as normal as any family filled with mutants could get. Their father became a political figure head and soon earned a job as an Ambassador. At fifteen Thomas had created a Stock Portfolio and run six different Archeological expeditions, getting attention from both respectable and shady members of high society. He was inducted into the Mensa Society in a few months and despite initial troubles with keeping his new mutant powers in check he had manage to publicly help open a small shipping business with his older sister. The close knit Ramius family as a whole was advancing back into a better spot, with the help of Thomas and his sisters. Norma was becoming a skilled linguist helping Thomas deal in imported stock from several countries. Alma was good at book keeping and just as enthusiastic with history and ancient tombs. Brenda above all had the same potential and was also inducted as a Mensa, she however decided to go in a completely new direction approaching journalism. Until they where sixteen, good times and success were all the family knew. At Sixteen the event that changed the family happened. While staying in NY Thomas and His sister's went to a concert to see a rock concert. the day went fine it ended with severe chaos. Sentinels, at least a dozen came to track down and capture or eliminate all mutants within the state. Near at the top of their priorities were the quad siblings. Not easy pray they fought to get away. The eldest son Zander made an appearance to help deal with the situations as did Stark's "War Machine". Trying solely to save his sisters Thomas worked with Zander and the Ironclad super hero to try and take down the mechanical monster's It would be at this time that the three sister's powers manifest in their horror. Norma's activated for only a brief second and for it, Zander was crushed and Thomas was pinned. Stunned the "War Machine's" helmet was blown off revealing Allen who took the armor to help the situation. His Colossal Strength threw the Sentinel off and into another. Zander was alive but in the worst possible shape, and Thomas... His left arm, badly broken and irreparable by any means. With a cutting laser his Arm was Amputated on sight. Saving him from pain, and infection. Unconscious for the remainder of the Ordeal Thomas would awake three days later at home, shaken beyond measure. His stocks plummeted from the event and many major deals were lost because being a mutant became known to his clients. Within the next two years Thomas managed to repair most of the damage done to his business. A few months in Cairo studying three mummies helped him move on, and his ventures re opened after much finessing. His powers and his handicap were accommodated with he help of his older brother and his fiance. Thomas and his family became both political and financial powers trying to turn around the anti-mutant sentiment. Now Thomas has come to the Xavier institute. Already a few mishaps and mis adventures have happened. Few friends, and with his older brother Allen now married a cousin, Narcissa Lucania, also in attendance. Though practically a genius in certain fields he still failed to complete primary education due to turbulent events of his life. Misc:- He has citizenship in Egypt, and Germany. - Has Diplomatic Immunity due to his father's new job as an Ambassador. - He was left handed and is still coping and trying to remedy his current problem. - Allen Ramius saved him the first time he and his sister's were kidnapped, leading them to be very close despite Allen's early leaving of the nest. Allen currently works for Stark Enterprises and was present on the day Magneto attacked the NY city. - His elder brother Zander is part of the Hellfire club England branch trying to climb the ranks and into the inner circle. Zander is the one who saved Thomas from the Sentinel attack that took his arm.

Build: athletic, like a quarterback Race/Nationality: black American Notable Characteristics: He smells like trees or sometimes a zoo. That’s where he spends most of his time. His rat is hard to miss, she is either perched on his shoulder or in his pocket. Now a second rat has been added, also hard to overlook. Uniform: Mason’s uniform is flexible, but not loose. He has a simple crimson under armor shirt, tailored to end halfway down his forearm. The X –Men symbol is graphed onto the shirt in black. He prefers not to wear gloves; just a personal choice. An odd choice in many people’s eyes, but Mason wears black suspenders. No reason really, he just likes the feeling. His pants are also under armor, lined with a material akin to chainmail, but thinner. It works almost as good. Those end right below the knee. His shoes are a customized Adidas. He’s tried other things, but they just aren’t as comfortable. He had them made black with red stripes. He asked that the sole and heel were reinforced and had a steel toe lining the inside. His belt is black and also has the X-Men logo on it in red. It isn’t very secure and has a couple of pouches holding various things. Most of them are for the Admiral. Standard Dress: On the off days or while at classes Mason dresses in plaid button up shirts and jeans. He's not one for the form fitting look, outside of his uniform. Place of Birth: Michigan; Lansing to be exact. It’s the city part of Michigan, but he likes to take a breather and visit the farmland on occasion. Family: His mom and dad, Debbie and Ted, are both very easy going fun loving people. They’re happy that their son got mutant powers; he can do things they can’t. His sister, Tanya, lives with him. She has no powers to speak of, but they are close to each other. Mason’s move to Academy X was hard on her. His family considers his rat, Admiral Dot, part of the family. The Admiral gives Mason a huge advantage in battle because she is too small to hit easily and her teeth can cause serious damage. Recently, eleven other baby rats were added to the Huer family. Mason only kept one, the others were given away to friends or...the wilderness. Superhuman Ability: Mason has animal mimicry meaning he can pick a trait of any animal to use to his advantage. He can use anything from a tiger’s strong paws to an elephant’s long memory. He can only use the trait if the animal he is trying to mimic is present. His human capabilities are somewhat a disadvantage. He can try and use a bird’s flight, but because humans don’t have wings, he is unable to fly. Mason can also see through an animal’s eyes. According to him, it looks like he’s looking through clear water. His body must remain stationary while he does this or it will confuse himself and the animal. If he is disturbed he loses contact with the animal. The Admiral lets Mason use the abilities of a rat at any time because she is always with him. His eyes cloud when he uses this power. It’s a natural effect his body has to block out images from Mason’s own sight. In recent months, Mason has learned to focus in on animals within 120 meters of his person. His sense is only blocked by physical walls. He has not yet been able to tap into the animal without directly seeing them, but he's working on that bit. Abilities (not gained from mutation): Mason knows a lot about animals. His parents call him an animal encyclopedia. He plays the violin in his spare time; he’s gotten pretty good at it. His favorite place to go is Japan, so he picked up the language. With his new control over his ability, Mason has been able to tap into animal traits a lot faster and is a better fighter because of it. He’s a good friend to have and has a good sense of right and wrong. Personal Weaknesses: He still doesn’t like porcelain. End of story. He’s become more reluctant to talk to new people. He likes to be able to scope them out first and see how they act so that he can match their personality. His patience is a lot shorter than it used to be and his mind is constantly filled with odd thoughts. He’s afraid that he might composite the traits and that his head will eventually implode. Personality: Mason is very affable and easy to get along with. Although he’s a bit timid at first, once you start talking, he’s a great guy. His friends are one of the most important things to him. That’s something his parents taught him at a young age, so you’d want to be his friend if you’re ever in trouble. He likes to keep as many people around him as possible. He doesn’t like hanging out with just one person, it becomes awkward. He’d rather hang out with a couple people at a time and jump in a conversation. His favorite pop is A&W Root Beer, and he likes Japanese food; he goes there a lot with his sister. Hobbies: He likes to run, write, read, hang out with the guys, practicing his Japanese, eat, play with the Admiral and her daughter, and play video games Mutant/Human Relations View: Mason feels that the world is just in a phase and we’ll get through it. But no matter what, anyone doing wrong to anyone else is completely unacceptable. To him, we’re all people deserving of the same respect and, if needed, punishment. History: Mason was born in Lansing, Michigan on the first day of September. His older sister loved him as much as his parents did and it was good for a few years. It became even better when Mason and his family went to Africa for a Safari. Mason was only twelve at the time, but he could recall it right now in vivid memory. He liked the zebras and cheetahs and lions especially, but the heat! He would forever complain about how hot it is in Africa. The Admiral came into his life on his birthday, right before school. She was, to him, what some might call a godsend. Admiral Dot, or Admiral, but never Dot, is a black rat with brown tipped feet. They fell in love and he began to take her with him everywhere. She was allowed free roam of the house, Mason’s orders, but everyone loved her anyways. His freshman year in high school started that fall. He didn’t really want to join a team sport, but everyone said he should do football because of his body shape. He never did football, but he did tennis and swimming. He discovered his power when he was racing one of his friends after school. He glanced over at a dog chasing after a ball. It was only a short glance and he didn’t have the control he has now. His muscles twitched and contorted. When the race started, he finished well before his friend did and everyone knew what had happened. He was lucky in that his classmates were okay about his abilities. He was at a mostly tolerant school. He ran home immediately and tripped once the dog was out of sight. He got to his mother and his whole family was excited. He continued through school, but on the summers his sister would take him and the Admiral to the most exotic places in the world to look at animals and see their abilities. He was happy. He was fifteen and he’d been to every continent when his sister was kidnapped. He was blackmailed by a group of people that remain hidden to this day. They probably went under, but the memory still haunts him. Mason was given two options: Steal from some of the best guarded places on Earth, or lose a sister. He chose the former. He used his power to steal from the White House; President Bush’s favorite jacket. He was almost caught that time. But luckily dog’s have a good sense of hearing and he was able to hear Secret Service coming. He did that for a year and a half until they arranged for him to bring the Hope Diamond to the Himalayan Mountains and leave it at a certain spot; of course he and the Admiral stayed anyhow. They came looking for the diamond, but found him instead. He fought her captors off by biting chunks out of their necks when he saw a snow leopard. The others were mauled thanks to a black bear. It’s not something he’d like to remember, he tries not to utilize the more gruesome animals. He’s beat himself up over this ever since. In recent months Mason has been practicing and using his abilities whenever he can. Only two days after prom, the Admiral gave birth to eleven mutated rat babies. Much to the joy of Everett and Narcissa, only two were kept with students. Hero, an amphibious rat, was given to Jacen as it seemed only fitting. Mason kept Freya, with retractable razor sharp fur. Like her mother, Mason expects her to live a long time. It is still unknown who the father is. Moira MacTaggert on Muir Island asked if she could keep some of them, and Mason was generous enough to give her four. Beast at the mansion kept three to study like Dr. MacTaggert. Two of the rats are roaming in the wild together somewhere. During his training, Mason has had numerous blackouts where he would just feel completely animalistic. He doesn't plan on discontinuing the use of his ability, but one day, he may overload himself on animal traits and something very bad could happen. Carlos Estrada Name: Carlos Maguel Estrada Codename: Motega Academy X Student Team: "Request Paragons" Age: 17 Birthday: March 7th Hair: Black, Dyed red with white bang Eyes: Completely black. Skin Tone: was tanned, mutation paled it. Height: 6'1" Weight: 183 lbs. Build: Athletic and agile build with strength behind it. Race/Nationality: Latin/Native American (Kiowa) Notable Characteristics: A red ink tattoo on right arm and back. and his eerie black eyes which he hides behind red shades. An eerie and icy aura surrounding him at all times. His blood is thicker than normal and black. Uniform: Standard Dress: Carlos dresses in clothes that allow freedom of movement. His jacket which he bought upon landing in New York quickly became his Favorite. His pants are actually three years old and were perfect for his Capoeira, and his top was a leather vest made for him by the Ravens of Shadow upon his completion of training. A Modern redux of tradition the vest is protective yet flexible and has the tribal marking on the back. Character Picture: Place of Birth: Barranquilla Columbia Superhuman Ability: Feeding off of shadows and ambient darkness, Carlos can tap into a sub-space dimension of Nightmares (So he calls it), pulling from it a cold black fire that he can use to generate a multitude of effects. Mainly he can assume the guise of a wraith or cloaked figure, gaining durability, as the dark matter he channels protects him. Explanation and Uses: Like a ghost, he can phase through people and solid matter, imparting upon a person a freezing chill and a pure sense of dread, in some cases knocking the person out from shock. He can use his cloak as a portal to cross an underlying dimension home to the nightmares and guilt of the collective world. Carlos is not immune to the Nightmare Realm- But he can control it, while taking damage to himself. He can use the nightmare realm to conceal himself in plain sight, and reflect light. But his shadow remains, a dead giveaway of where he is. When standing near to him like that, one can feel an insane sense of paranoia and cold. He can seemingly collapse in on himself and pass through the dimension rapidly to appear somewhere else, effectively teleporting. The greater the distance the the more strain to his own mind the dimension stresses. Carlos can glide short distances granted he has a large enough cloak to do so and a high vantage point. His eyes are now naturally an inky blackness with no white. When he channels the energy, smoke almost seems to come from them... It allows him to 'see' with altered sight-- He can track people-- By tracking their fears. The more they are afraid, the easier he can find them. By swallowing someone into his cloak he can drag them through the Nightmare dimension, although he only does so if necessary. There is a backlash of negative energy that causes severe guilt- Or induces a psyche breaking fear that is enough to drive the strongest crazy. Even when Carlos himself walks though it he wakes to a nightmare of terrified penance. The only way to pass through the realm unharmed is with some sort of fire or light-- At the very least, a torch. This was discovered by another mutant who absorbs, amplifies, and uses solar energy to generate light and heat could pass with Carlos unharmed. He cannot 'see' someone if they are near a large heat source-- Or a very well lit room. The realm that Carlos channels allows him to absorb natural fire and extreme heat. The realm craves light, anything of warmth. Although, at the same time, it seems to fear it. Standing too close to the boy can make your body temperature drop significantly in a few moments. Sources that are of mystical or psionic make, (I.E Hellfire, Phoenix fire) are things that the realm has no use for-- And thus Carlos cannot absorb. They would hurt him like any other person. The darker it is-- The stronger the realm is. By proxy, the stronger Carlos is. On a clouded night with no moon he can, with difficulty, generate a cloak of dark matter to engulf at the very least three NY blocks. in daylight this might be restricted to just a smoky black vapor rising off of him. Carlos can channel and exude, or propel a mildly concussive blast of the dark matter that one can almost feel on their skin. It can induce fear and a deathly ice like chill as it steals the warmth from the body. At night he can do this easily while cloaked in the dark matter. In the day time, it is far more difficult. At the strongest these blast have the strength of an wrecking ball, in daylight he'd be lucky to knock a person back. His powers have almost completely inverted his perception and sleeping habits. He sees perfectly well in the dark and is nearly blinded during the day. He always wears shades to protect his much needed vision. He is restless at night and tends to nap during the day. It almost physically drains him. At around 5:00 PM is morning for him, and any sooner is tiring, though he can put up with it. Carlos has adept control over his powers but has yet to fully explore them. He has learned to create primitive things with the dark matter-- But he comes to the Institute to learn how to use his powers with less pain to himself, and those around him. The Nightmare Realm is not something he can ignore-- It has become a part of him... So he must learn to control it, lock and key. Personal Strengths: Carlos is very strong willed, so much so that he has managed to spend great lengths of time in a dimension that is detrimental to his psyche.
Personal Weaknesses: Aside from expensive things behind locks, Carlos' real weakness lies with his powers effects. His sleeping habits are reversed, and bright light can blind him easier then anything else. He is so light sensitive that during the day, the world appears in different shades to him.
Personality: Carlos has several layers of personality that make one. His time and experience in the dimension his mutation lets him access, have ruined his moral center, enabling him to be a cold hearted killer and survivalist. Despite how dark he really is, he wraps himself up with an upbeat cheery disposition. Motivated by the aspect that life is too short to be grouchy and serious at all. If your gonna live or die tomorrow then be extreme. Carlos to deal with his powers has become utterly fearless and yet still manages to keep himself from being too reckless.
Another layer of his being is composed by tradition and upbringing. Carlos understands what it is to have a family that loves him and would stay with him as a whole. To this extent when he fell in love, he fell in love hard, and is openly affectionate. He has become a devoted boyfriend showing his extreme loyalty and in a small part, his sense of family and responsibility.
Hobbies: First and foremost Carlos is a dedicated Archer. He is studying Capoeira the hard way, and can only apply it to his fighting style. He likes to compete in his free time. He surfs on the rare occasions he goes to the beach. He likes playing practical jokes that scare people going so far as to use his powers to impersonate death himself, or to scare an old superstitious man. Stealing at random is his cup at tea at night. In the day more often then not you'll find him in a tree lazily napping the day away. He loves music and can play the piano and some guitar, and is a fine tenor two.
Mutant/Human Relations View: Carlos believes that because he has the power, that it is decidedly not up to him weather people want to mess with him. To that extent he views his own powers as a perk to life, something that should be embraced.
Family:
Carlo Estrada died in a raid.
Lilian Luc Estrada, never remarried and took to taking care of her son until he was old enough to fend for himself.
Carlos descends from a native American tribe that migrated in the late 1600s to South America. The Estrada family is one of the few families that splintered from the tribe to settle and make life in the new more modern world. The Kiowa being a nomadic warrior tribe during its more ancient years, was still teaching the old ways, even in the modern era. They were always silent, nothing more than a Shadow. They were trained after gifted individuals in the past, that had long since passed on. The Shamans' said it was magic-- Science claimed mutation. To an extent these trainings made Carlo Estrada perfect for a small time private investigator.
With so much rampant crime in Barranquilla, none of which needed such investigation, and down on his luck, Carlo searched for a new job. What he found was Lilian, and true love. The fiery Latina woman, happened to be from another family of the Kiowa tribe, and she was raised by the Shaman and was an educated Herbalist and chemist.
It was after a few weeks of dating that Carlo was able to get a job and someone to spend his off time with. She worked for the Barvaria Brewery, and his new job was Loss Prevention and internal investigation. The companies stone faced, but hard arsed female CEO saw not only a little brew going missing but some cash as well. On top of that, he began to moonlight as a body Guard. Carlo became close friends with his employer, and after months of hard work, and much grander wedding then he could have planned for himself and Lilian, brought fourth the energetic and charismatic Carlos, only five months prior his employer's own bouncing joy.
History: Carlos, born on March 7th, was born healthy and energetic, but on a night of misgivings. He was always crying and only comforted in the dark. His grandfather, Shaman of the Kiowa, told his parents that though he was a pure and innocent child, he was born under the eyes of a shadow god. He had a likeness to those that had long since passed on.
A long magic ritual of smoke and dancing, that hadn't been seen in years-- And Carlos was considered healed. His Father, constantly working, and his mother taking lessons from the CEO to help maintain the Brewery when she was gone, left Carlos in the care of the Stone family nanny along with bright beautiful baby Isabella Stone.
It was growing up for nine years like this that Carlos could recount as the happiest of years, constantly being the playmate of the nearly royal Stone family daughter. Though she had an open heart, and rarely asked for anything.
The next couple of years were rough. Ripped away to spend time with his grandparent's the moment his powers started showing themselves, it was the season of tempering and Carlos was of age. For The Kiowa there was a hardened tradition of making warriors, by taking a time of trial and training. It was in the span of the next few years that would rigorously challenge and reshape the young Carlos.
Focusing on his best abilities Carlos was the first of his direct Family to be recognized as What was roughly translated to be called Raven of Shadows, a classification of warrior that meant he walked a path of darkness, taking his prey from high places, quietly. Not disturbing the peace around those unaware. He was a silent, solitary protector.
Having trained non stop and working as hard as he could to make his father proud he returned home at the age of fourteen. Men were made young. Carlos received, with slight enthusiasm, a customized bow from his family, and a kiss on the cheek from his sister-like friend Isabella. He was allowed to take up guitar as well as dance lessons. This would be the last bits of Happiness Carlos could remember.
Back to training, His so called dance lessons, where infact martial arts. Catering to his slim, agile, and yet deceptively powerful build, a mixed schedule was made, using dance, Capoeira as the foundation. Constantly in motion, he learned to enjoy his training. Learning Guitar and syncopation as a side to help in the dance like activity when he wasn't working hard... Carlos had a semblance of normality at last.
His 15th birthday fast approached, and missing his mother he was brought back by his father to celebrate. Not the best of times with violence every where. Carlos by now was formidable as a young teenager, capable of taking down grown men He helped his father at the brewery catching thieves. With life as normal as it could be for him the next couple of months, his father let him tag along in his work, if only to keep an eye on him.
It was at one of these jobs where he met, and though he didn't know it at the time, would later fall in love with a client's daughter. Narcissa Lucania was different, just like him. He saved her from incinerating her family-- His power craved her own, strangely enough. She could enter his darkness and be unharmed.
With things slightly better, they didn't stay that way in the Sandy City. Out in the Market with his parents for some time to themselves, it was only five weeks after Isabella's birthday. He could remember it clearly. He had been looking at a jade necklace, and it's twin in a clear quartz- Thinking what great presents they would be for his two favorite women... That was when -It- happened. Gunshots were fired. It was thunderous and deafening- Painful beyond all measure. The loudest sound-- scream that of an unknown horror. It sounded like a hundred buzz saws, a thousand voices right in his ear-- But felt worse. His parents on the ground as well as everyone on the street. No one had a clue what was truly happening all they knew was the terrible noise and the pain it caused.
All Carlos wanted to do was to get away, him and his parents. Carlos thought he was going to die, and icy chill ran up his spine and his vision blurred. Darkness surrounded him and he felt nothing, the whole world slipped away. He was swallowed and contained. Carlos had disappeared from existence, scared out of his mind and seeing his nightmares in this darkness. For two weeks his parents searched for him.
Carlos was willful, more than any mental demon could guess, and he stood against the nightmares he faced for the first time. He wanted out, and he wanted it now.
To his surprise the darkness listened and opened to him. Carlos was found a day after two weeks in the brewery right as it opened. The employees knowing him well and knowing that he was missing went to fetch his parents.
It was Esperanza Stone that was the first to arrive to take charge of him until his parents returned. She, knowing full well the cause of his disappearance and by now what was happening to the young teen, felt a great deal of pity and guilt. Her family had a history of the genetic anomaly.
Moreover, something struck her that she shouldn't have been feeling. Fear, it was then she noticed the black smoke of something unknown surrounding Carlos. Lighting some candles the effect faded as did the smoke but she made her guesses. As the Estrada family arrived to thank and talk with the Stone family Mother. Carlos' Mother cried and his father only comforted her as he thought out what to do.
Life had seemingly continued. The only friends he had were Isabella and Narcissa from afar. Though it was no secret that the two didn't get along. Carlos secretly practiced with his powers discovering they weren't too bad. Isabella quickly learned to carry a lighter and not to be afraid of him. It was with him that she learned control of her own powers. He tried to show her that just sheer force of will could do anything. Behind the CEO's back, Carlos' taught Isabella how to refine it slightly, but the young Isabella more timid then he, and still grieving for the loss of her father, cut those lessons short.
At this time, it was found out that the Baveria Brewery had Mutants among them. A small armed group against mutants rolled up one night. In the midst of the anti mutant hype, they had a planned attack and raid on the Brewery. It was here that Carlo Estrada, Carlos' Father Lost his life.
This was when Carlos found his powers to be more then they appeared. The man who killed his father couldn't hit him, couldn't stop him not even by starting a fire as Carlos shrouded by his dark smoke followed him. Carlos was on a warpath.. He knew not what drove or guided him, he simply followed a feeling and his eyes became completely black. He could suddenly see very well in the moonless sky as tracked and chased the man stalking him like wolf.
When Carlos caught up to him, he swallowed the man and followed him dragging him to the dark place. The man couldn't take it like Carlos could. He broke and fractured, as every pain and guilt he had about his misdoings were thrown back at him in a nightmare that Carlos could fuzzily see in the darkness.
Carlos sensed the fear and darkness in the man, and with a frightened and fearful look of schock realized that he was feeding on the mans fear. He let the man go, left him there in the alley broken and curled in the fatal position, repeating over and over that he was sorry. It was the last time for a long time Carlos would ever use his powers like that again, not until it's secrets were fully known to him.
Carlos grieved and was doing far better then he could remember. His family had moved on and worked as it always did, mostly trying to return back to a semblance of normality. Normal had become three mutants helping each other adapt. Even though Isabella had been sent away to a school in America, they kept in touch.
Narcissa also had powers. For months at a time she stayed in the city with her father. and within weeks Carlos, who by now radically changed into a nocturnal creature due to his powers. started dating his sun goddess, Narcissa. Their infatuation with one another was almost unhealthy... To great irony -If opposites attract then Carlos and Narcissa were the yin to the others yang. Her powers revolved around light and heat and the sun.
She represented his every opposite- if Carlos was dark she was light. It was with this that they found she was unaffected by his darkness and could travel safely through the dark dimension even sparing Carlos himself the torment. This was a huge perk for Narcissa, someone she could be around. Her powers were atomic, particularly on the brightest of days. though she came to Columbia to learn control in secret... Her knack for it was low and her learning not so smoothly as Carlos or Isabella.
Carlos however could contain and help Narcissa and was called upon to do so once it was discovered that Narcisaa could be nuclear, and that Carlos could be around her without combusting. Though progress had been made it wasn't enough and Narcissa had to leave, to go to back to places where the sun could not reach her as much.
Carlos could move across great distances if he wanted to-- But it drained him. If he tried to get to Narcissa, or Bella-- His mind would surely break. Carlos felt alone but continued on as much as he could to at least to finish things. It was then his Mother Along with Esperenza Stone, and Narcissa's mother over the phone that Carlos Learned of the Xavier Institute for the gifted. It was this very meeting of their mother's that he was privy to, that he learned he would go to be with Isabella and then Narcissa once she was ready for it. Carlos was happy, as happy as could be for the first time in what felt like a long time.
Though he would move Far away from his mother he could be with the only two people that made him feel happy. That was all the incentive he needed to pack his belongings- He was headed to America. Thank God Isabella taught him English.
Misc Facts
Carlos is tri lingual, knowing Spanish, the Kiowa dialect, and with the help of Isabella English.
The Kiowa have their own practices and methods in stealth-- particularly the Ravens of Shadows. These customs and so called 'magics' could be the source of his powers versatility though there is no ground to prove much to the claim.
" Blinded by her beauty" is a literal pickup line for Carlos to Narcissa, Narcissa Generates light as well as heat and Carlos who has inverted perception making him ultra sensitive to light can be blinded if looking directly at her.
Carlos is partially deaf in his left ear mainly due to someone who shall remain nameless. *cough*Bella*cough*
Narcissa and Isabella roped him into getting his hair dyed his favorite color. It was Isabella though that died A bang white as a joke.
