Name: Tomomi Iwakuro

Personality: He is calm and keeps to himself at most times. He does however, like to be around people a lot, and will start conversations. He doesn't like to fight and kill, but will do so anyways. He will die to save any of his allies. He loves to sit down and have drinks with his fellow Captains, or any Squad member for that matter.

Bio: As a child in the world of the living, he could see the spirits of those who had passed. He couldn't see hollows very well, but he could feel them. While playing with his friends one day, a Hollow happened to crash down on them, and attacked him and his friends. In a desperation to save his friends, he threw his own life to the Hollow. Once he was a spirit, he could finally see the hollows, and saw something different. This time, he saw someone in black robes come and attack one of them. The Shinigami, what he was told they were named, killed the foul demons to protect the souls of the living, and to cleanse the Hollows of their sins they have to cut them across their mask.

Tomomi followed what this shinigami said, and he was sent to the Soul Society. Once there, he began to realize he felt different. Tattoo's upon his arm were believed to hold a giant serpent inside of Tomomi. The serpent brought winter when it came by the sea or by the sky. Tomomi soon found out about the shinigami's and how to become one. Being one to not take a family and have no great family, he wasn't as smiled upon by the others. Tomomi, even with his height, could defend himself very skillfully in his combat classes. When he finally got his blades, he received two, and was told it was very rare to ever get these.

Tomomi then was asked to join the 1st Court Guard Squad, the 'Elite' of the squads. Tomomi accepted, and trained himself until his power rose to a lieutenant level. Once he was able to know the name of his blade's spirit, he found out it was the spirit of the Twin-Horned Queen Serpent, the one believed to be locked inside of him. From there, he was asked to join Division 11, which he did so as well. Once more, training followed, he had not only received a Shikai, but he had gotten to a Captain's level and was able to release a minimal amount of his Bankai.

Tomomi rose to the top from being at the bottom. He tells his story to other shinigami, to inspire them to do their best. Now, he has become the 1st Division Captain, and the Sotaicho.

Usual Clothing: He has a full black outfit beneath. The shirt is a light fabric that has slits in to to lessen movement restrictions. He then has a custom-made reddish haori that has orangish flames at the bottom that raise up, and the First Division's symbol is surrounded by the raising flame.

~Zanpakutō~

Shikai Abilities:

Dokudokushii Aisu-Kiba (Venomous Ice-Fang) -
If the blades are to sink into the skin, or slash it, the victim will be infected by the Ouhi-Hebi's venom. The venom will slow the target down by at least 30-50%, depending on their size, and will last until Tomomi's Shikai is discharged. If Tomomi is killed while the venom is still in the victim, the venom will stick, and soon attack the nervous system, possibly killing or just permanently immobilizing his target..

Nyoronyoro (Slitheringly) -
This ability is quite the opposite of his first ability. This can only affect Tomomi himself, but it will increase is speed quite a bit, and his reaction time is quite faster than normal.

Hebi Yoroi (Snake Armor) -
He doesn't gain any real armor, but he is given something just as good. He is filled with a chemical that causes him to feel less pain than a normal human. Almost like an adrenaline shot, this can make him go longer, and fight a lot harder. The side-affects include: nausea, headache, muscle cramps, broken bones from carelessness during exposure, and possible ripped/torn muscles. Although, being able to be stabbed through with a blade and keep going may out-way the side-affects in some ways. This can and sometimes will pass over in to Bankai stage.

Bankai Abilities:

When bankai is released, a rare site comes about; His zanpakuto's spirit can be seen coming down from the sky, twisting around itself above him.

Gouzen-Ikazuchi (Roaring-Thunder) -
Ouhi-Hebi draws water particles into her mouth, and also causes the air to heat up, from made friction. When Ouhi-Hebi finally fires her blast that ices over everything with a great roar, the friction makes the sound of thunder. This attack can freeze an opponent in an ice chamber, which Tomomi will usually shatter, or Ouhi-Hebi will bite through, but the target can possibly escape, but with a low chance.

Shibun, Tokkan (Divide Into Four Pieces, Lightning Attack) -
Lightning will span across the sky in a fan pattern toward the target. Four strands of lightning will then come down at the target in the reverse manner, so all four will connect on the target. This attack can be potentially deadly, but can be dodged. As lightning is unpredictable, the individual charges can align at different times, or twist themselves off of the target.

Dokudokushii Touketsu-Tsume (Venomous Frozen-Claw) -
This attack deals with the blades. If the blades touch skin, it will form ice over where it has touched. As like venom, the ice will spread, and begin to immobilize it's target. Finally, once the venom has taken over the limbs, or immobilized the target's legs, Tomomi finishes of the victim. Ice cannot be broken very easily, those trained in the ways of reiatsu will break it quicker.

Ice Coverage Over Two Limbs: Effect strengthens, only 8 post for ice to cover two limbs.
Ice Coverage of Full Body-No Head: Average of 12 post.

Hankai (Partial Destruction) - Max time released is five post. Further training, or fighting with Ouhi-Hebi, may lead to long time limit of release.
This is where Ouhi-Hebi is 'let off her leash'. Ouhi-Hebi will begin a furious assault against the enemy of her keeper. She will cause as much destruction as possible while killing her pray as well, but with this attack, Tomomi may only keep her in low restraint. Tomomi will only be able to stop her if he puts away his bankai, or Ouhi-Hebi's time limit has been reached. She may only be in Hankai for five post. In those five post, she can cause a whole lot of destruction.

~Skills, Techniques, and Kidō~

Expert in Hand-To-Hand Combat - Tomomi has trained himself hard in hand-to-hand combat, which has also helped him to become good friends with his 2nd Squad Captain.

Expert in Swordsmanship - Tomomi is an expert in swordsmanship, being able to wield his two very skillfully, and trains with his 11th Squad quite a bit.

Practiced Polearm Wielder - In order to gain experience in his new Bankai weapon, he has been practicing with polearm weapons. He has the way they work down, but still needs practice to fully be able to wield it to 100% potential.

~Dashing~

A most basic technique that allows the user to throw him/herself to a certain direction using a certain angle of which way the the stance is directed and executed. Based on an individual's attributes, dashing can be quite a moderately fast move instead of running. Also depending on the distance, dashing can be quite useful if in closer range to the opponent. This technique is basically for all ranks.

~Shunpo (Flash-Step)~

A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. This technique requires a very high level of training, thus a most difficult one to obtain. One, who is of a high lieutenant ranking, must be able to possess Shunpo. Furthermore, it is a most fearsome mid-range/long-range speed known to be the exceeding ability than dashing. All in all, this ability can only be used by lieutenants and captains. For lieutenants it is nearly mastered, yet not perfected. Therefore, it is only of mid-range level 1. For captains Shunpo is of a level 2 maximum ability in which it is fully perfected for both mid-range and long-range.

~Air Walk~

Another skill, though not necessarily related, is the Soul Reaper ability to walk on air using spiritual energy. By collecting and solidifying spiritual particles beneath their feet, Soul Reapers can gain traction on thin air to either freely move about or to stop themselves from falling. This particular ability can only be obtained from officer level. Furthermore, it cannot necessarily be used every so often, especially for officers. It is an ability that can only be temporarily used but cannot last for a very long period of time. However, for lieutenants, they can stay on air for quite a bit longer and for captains, it can be held for quite a long while considering the great amount of riatsu within a captain ranking individual.

~Senka (Flash Blossom)~

Although Shunpo is connected with this ability, this technique possess a unique name and style of its own. This technique is known as Senka (闪花, Flash Blossom), a flash step combined with a spin to quickly move behind the enemy, followed by a strike aimed to destroy the saketsu chain and the hakusui soul sleep with a combination of two quick thrusts. This technique is one of the two, that Youruichi developed mixing Shunpo to complete its ability. Furthermore, only certain individuals, of high ranking captain level can possess such an ability.

~Utsusemi~

This technique is one of the most difficult speed abilities of them all. Furthermore, this is also one of the two, that Youruichi developed as well. It is the 4 ways of the Shihou through Shunpo which is also known as "Utsusemi". It's ability is a speed known to be so fast that the user leaves an afterimage of him/herself. Its affect is most absolute, superb, and flawless if ever fully perfected. And to be more specific, Utsusemi's speed is so fast, that the enemy can practically feel and touch the physical body of the afterimage and not even know the very fact that it is nothing more but an afterimage. Its very image can easily deceive the eyes of the enemy. This technique is very rare, thus few captains are able to possess such a flawless ability. Furthermore, it is most lethal when combining Senka after Utsusemi is executed.

Name: Tetsunosuke Harasawa (Tetsu is his nickname)

Personality: Tetsunosuke considers himself indifferent from everyone else. His number one personality flaw is he can't back down from an argument. He thinks he has to have the last word in everything. Tetsunosuke is also very loyal to a fault. When he is to do battle against a foe, he tries to not draw out the fight and end it as soon as possible; for he doesn't like fighting very much when it's not necessary. Tetsunosuke can also be lazy at times. Often, he argues with himself about things, and has a horrible time making a decision and also second guesses himself. He can also be very contradicting; for example: he loves snow, but he hates the cold weather and the mud it leaves behind when it melts. He loves eating, but he doesn't like the weight gain it causes. Tetsunosuke is also very bold, he won't back down from ANYTHING. But he isn't hot headed or thinks he can do something he might not be able to do. He just isn't afraid.
Bio: When Tetsunosuke was alive in the Human World, he was an author of poetry. He lived around the late 19th Century. He was quiet the romancer some say. He grew up a normal life for the most part, but could almost always tell that something was out of place at a funeral of someone whose soul wasn't ready to pass on. He often thought he saw faint human figures by the coffin's of the graves and sometimes heard whispers and screams. Sometimes fighting and other unexplainable noises that were also indescribable.

He became a traveling poet and would resit his poetry to the royals or higher class people who would pay graciously for his performances. (though born in Japan, he was able to leave there when he turned 19 on a small boat) He was good at learning the different languages as he went along his journey. Though, during his time of travels, he managed to some how get in the cross fire of the French's invasion into Russia and was gunned down mistakenly as an enemy.

After his death, he went to Soul Society where he always felt hungry. Though this was nothing new since he felt hungry a lot in the human world. Though he was a different hunger he could never quench. After being in the Rukongai, west 1st for some while. After learning more about Shinigami and what they did, he opted to try and join them. After a few years of going to the Shinōreijutsuin, he finally graduated with average to somewhat below average scores... he wasn't much of a studier in school either.

Shikai Appearance: [here] Sakuzen Kosshi's blade's color stays the same. The two 'tasseled' strings up top are black threaded, along with the ones at the bottom. The pole is surrounded by a cloth like substances that's a very deep dark gray. Standing side-by-side, Sakuzen Kosshi is five feet and five inches.
Shikai Command: "Rise Up to Life, Sakuzen Kosshi"
Shikai Abilities:

  • Rotting Flesh: When Sakuzen Kosshi is released into it's Shikai state, a putrid smell is released as well within a one yard radius. Of course, Tetsunosuke has become immune to this.

  • Call of the Dead: By striking the ground with his Zanpakutō Scythe, Tetsunosuke is able to call forth any sort of bone like objects created from reishi. These bones can be used as a ground based barrage of spiked bones or as a defensive shield. Or any other sort of combination that can be thought of.

  • Dead Man Walking: When Zakuzen Kosshi has cut it's target, the flesh of the area around the wound(s) begin to decay and rot off the bone. Though this action isn't instantaneous*.
    (* Three post for it to start happening counting the post the wound is received)

  • Bone Crusher: When Tetsunosuke is in the air, he can use this attack as a projectile attack; two feet long doubled sharp pointed ended bones are sent out at the enemy. The amount vary on the Reiryoku and other factors. These bones are 10% weaker then "Call of the Dead's" bones.

Bankai Appearance: [looks the same as the Shikai but becomes double ended] When Bankai is released, Sakuzen Kosshi's scythe gains another blade on the opposite end but it's much smaller; the blade is also on the opposite side. The sharpened part is facing downward. The main scythe blade grows some as well, just about six inches. The pole grows another eight inches. Tetsunosuke gains a hooded cloak that has some special properties. A chain is either present around his neck or not. It just depends on whether he forms.
Extended Name: "O ye Sakuzen Kosshi, hear the word of Tetsunosuke, and live."
Bankai Abilities: (Minor abilities/nameless): The pain the user of Sakuzen Kosshi receives during Bankai is reduced by half. Which is mostly due to the zombification of the body.

  • Levitation: When released and the cloak forms, the wield can levitate off the ground and fly without having to us the Air Walk technique. Though if the wielder wants to Flash Step, they'll have to perform the Air Walk technique first. Though with using the cloak, he isn't as fast as traveling if he used Flash Step.

  • Zombification: When Sakuzen Kosshi is released into Bankai, the wielder's body instantly starts "dying". More less zombifying. Their internal organs stop working like they normally would, and all wounds received before entering Bankai cease to bleed*. Also with this ability, if the wielder of Sakuzen Kosshi is dismembered in any way (beside decapitation) the wielder only needs to reattach the ligament for it to start working properly.
    *but once the wielder goes out of Bankai, their wounds start bleeding

  • Plague: Locust, flies, cicadas, lice, bees, wasp... any sort of deadly or pestilent insects are crawling through the wielder's cloak. At any time, the wielder can command these pest to come out and charge at a target. Stinging, biting and doing what insects do best. Their biting and stinging isn't like normal bugs, the insects have a special poison that causes Reishi to flow abnormally through the body. Weakening Reiryoku based attacks, Flash Steps, strength, and agility by sixty percent for a 3rd seat or lower; forty percent for a Lieutenant; thirty-five percent for a Captain.
    (*The effects only last two post when the target receives the puncture)

  • Bondage: The chain the user has around their neck can be used as a whip or can be warped around the target. The chain weights approximately 25lbs PER LINK. But to the wielder, it feels like any normal chain. There are also more chains in the cloak. The chains are pretty hard to destroy; a captain could struggle for a few moments, a Lieutenant would take longer to break, and it would almost be impossible for a seated officer lower than 3rd.

  • Grave Keeper: The wielder of Sakuzen Kosshi can form any sort of inanimate material into an undead (zombified) minion. The minion will act to the wielder's commands, either verbal or mental. When the undead creature is struck upon, pestilence and larva spews from it.

  • Stroke of Death: When the blade part of the Scythe cuts into the flesh of the enemy, that area where that thing is struck, begins to decay and rot off the bone*. As well as fly larva and flies start to come out of the wound**.

  • Call of the Dead: By striking the ground with his Zanpakutō Scythe, Tetsunosuke is able to call forth any sort of bone like objects created from any inanimate object. These bones can be used as a ground based barrage of spiked bones or as a defensive shield. Or any other sort of combination that can be thought of.

  • Bone Crusher: When Tetsunosuke is in the air, he can use this attack as a projectile attack; eight feet long doubled sharp pointed ended bones are sent out at the enemy. The amount vary on the Reiryoku and other factors. These bones are 3.5% weaker then "Call of the Dead's" bones.

  • Body Parts: If the wielder's arm, legs, or even half of his body is decimated, they can use their Grave Keeper Technique and fuse with that. As long as the brain and brain stem remain intact, the can still reattach themselves to a body. And when they exit Bankai, it'll appear like their normal body part and function the same. This technique acquires a lot of strength.

  • Suicide: With either using a body part of himself or the bugs, or minions, he is able to have their Reishi act abnormally and explode.

Similar to Hainawa, but stronger. This Bakudō pins the target's arms to their side with a thick white chain.

Bakudō #78: 1000 Knives Torture
Description
Heavy cloths of Kidō wrap around the target, forming into an iron sarcophagus. The user then clinches their fist and one thousand small knives of energy start to levitate around the sarcophagus. Since this was used as interrogation tactic in the old days, the user can control them when the knives are plunged into the coffin. However, the longer they wait the easier it is for the person to break free.

Description
Creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. According to some information, based on its power, it is capable of stopping destructive spells up to #89.

Bakudō #89: Kōchinomaru (Circle of Confinement)
Description
Basically, this spell erects a spherical barrier of immense strength around the target, denying any form of movement outside of it and even dissipating most attacks up to a 3rd Seat level.

Bōgyōdō #3. Blue Mist

Description
Covers a ten foot area with a thick blanket of blue mist, which centers on the target. Making it near impossible to see normally. It only lasts for two posts.

4x of use

Bōgyōdō #22. Bikan (美観, Beautiful Sight)
Description
A flexible spell, designed to sharpen the vision of those it is cast upon, by enabling the recipient to "see" speed. Bikan increases the ability to see by up to 10% depending on spirit pressure. So for example, casting the spell while fighting a speedy opponent would mean that would the caster would "see" the opponent moving only at normal speed. Flexibility is given to the duration of the spell effect and the number of those it can be used on. The maximum time limit of the spell is three posts (meaning the effect can only be used on one recipient), and the maximum number of recipients is three (meaning the maximum time on each is one post.)

Bōgyōdō #25. Bansōkō (絆創膏, adhesive plaster)
Description
A thick padding of spiritons gathers at the users hands and feet. While this spell is active, the user gains the ability to latch onto wall by pressing up against them with said appendages. The compression even allows the user to run on vertical structures with ease.

Bōgyōdō #35. Hōkai (崩壊, Collapse)
Description
When a barrier is formed from Kidō, the user of this spell can counter it. The spell shoots out a spear like projectile, the projectile then breaks through the barrier and negates it. This bow's energy then scatters around in a ten meter radius, and shoots out strange runic symbols into the air. The seals keep the same spell from being cast within thirty seconds of this spells activation while the user is in the field. Also, the spell has to hit the barrier, or else it won't know what it's negating.

Bōgyōdō #58. Banshiissei
Description
A binding art removal spell. The user chants the spell and concentrates. This focuses a greater amount of energy out of the user to push away and nullify a binding spell. Since there are many different types of binding, there is no set rate. It takes about three to ten seconds depending on how much the spell has formed and how powerful it is (the more powerful binding taking at least ten or more seconds to break). So, the effects are not instant and any damage that occurs from the spell itself stays. When the binding is released however, a bright flash is released, allowing the user to escape. However, the flash only lasts for a few seconds itself.

Air Walk
Description
The ability of a Shinigami to walk through the air by focusing Reishi into a small platform to walk upon.
Requirements
Must be a 4th Seat or Higher.

Dashing
Description
A most basic technique that allows the user to throw him/herself to a certain direction using a certain angle of which way the the stance is directed and executed. Based on an individual's atributes, dashing can be quite a moderately fast move instead of running. Also depending on the distance, dashing can be quite useful if in closer range to the opponent.

Shunpo (瞬歩, Flash Step)
Description
This demon art corresponds to a "haste" or "boost" skill, allowing a shinigami to move his or her body within a certain distance at super-speed. It is speculated that this art works in combination with foot combat, hohō.

Seppa (石波, Stone Wave)

She is a proud warrior, yet is known to have 'random moments' quite often. Dont be surprised if she casualy slides up to you and begins a conversation.
Bio:

When Tanya was an infant, she lived in the better part of the rukon.
One night the slums attacked and her people were murdered, slaughtered even. Her mother, her father, her brothers and sisters, all lost. She was saved by the blacksmith down the lane before a slum could kill her. He brought her back to his forge, and raised her as his own daughter. As Tanya grew the forger taught her how to read, write, speak and by the age of thirteen, the basics of forging. For Tanya’s sixteenth birthday, the forger asked permission from one of his friends in the thirteen protection squads. He was given permission and Tanya entered the world of the living. Not long after she settled in the house she would stay in, she was attacked by a hollow. She fought as hard as she could to get away, but was no match for the she-hollow. This hollow deemed herself as the love hollow. The hollow would take beautiful women, put them under her control and use them to lure men’s souls to her. It was almost a year now that Tanya had done this for it, and the hollow let Tanya go, but with a curse and blindness. The hollow spilled her poison into her eyes, thus blinding her. The curse she laid upon her is that for every man she came to love, he would love her back with a deep passion. This would continue for three months before another man came into her life, and they would love one another equally well. Once the men would find out about echo her, they would fight and kill one another, leaving Tanya to weep with a shattered heart.

Tanya returned to her father, telling him the news of what happened. , why she was blind and so on. He said he was happy he taught her all he knew of forging before she went blind, but he had great sorrow within. Tanya, fifteen years later, started forging her own blade. She collected her life savings and went to where the forgers for the Zamputo’s were, and asked them to teach her how to make one. They agreed and she made a very fine blade indeed. [Explained in Blade appearance] After she created her blade, she returned home and her father, now frail and old, told her everything. How he was not really her father, and how he saved her. Tanya did not hate him for this but loved him even more. He taught her the rudiments of fighting, for he had been in the thirteen squads before, but left when the new captains were appointed. He taught her all he could then told her to practice every morning on top of the far hill. She did every morning, and after her warm-ups, someone would spar with her. Fixing her stance and helping with her speed and agility. By the time Tanya’s looks aged to about nineteen, she stayed that appearance for many a year, the forger told her. One day he grew sick and the healers could not help him. They said he had cancer in his brain and heart, and nothing could save him in this world or the other world. Therefore, the forger died, and the entire village wept. For years, Tanya kept the forge running, but times grew hard and she had to sell the business. Thankfully, the buyer was a kind rich man, and let her keep her job. She hired an apprentice and taught him how to forge. Forty years later the boy had mastered it, and the quality of his work almost matched Tanya’s when she was at that age. She left the forge in hi care, deciding to join the school for Shinigami. The others would tease her about being blind, and how she would often clip the doors and desks. The school was so noisy with the hum of the earth, and the people’s spiritual pressure. She surpassed all the classes with exceptionally high marks, with an exception to Kido, and kept it secret. She let the people think that she was stupid, and when they called her name for ‘graduating with astounding grades’ her teacher had said, she made a speech. To all of you who thought I was no good at sparring, at learning and at anything else at life, to those who thought I was the worth of mud, I have graduated above most of you. A blind girl, and most likely to become a high ranked officer. She walked off the stage with a roar of applause, and the angry shouts of people whom she had spoken to. Nobody but the teachers and those of her village knew she was blind, but she had become someone many looked up upon. Some recommend her as captain, for her great fighting abilities and her abundance of spiritual pressure, but Tanya laughed with them and said that she isn’t good at giving orders, let alone take them very well. She thought she would be lucky if she even got into the top ten seats, taking consideration to her... impairment.

But when she is training or doing something around the 13 protection squads, she wears a Shinigami uniform with an orange silken sash around her waist. The top is low cut and does show some boob, but no where near as much as Rangiku Matsumoto

Zanpakutō Position: Tanya carries her blade on her left hip. The knot is ties loosely incase of a fight, but firm enough to stay on wile walking/running.

Sealed Form Appearance:

Blade:Its blade is mostly black with the faintest strip of white at the bottom, and it shines like the stars in a moonless night. It was thin enough to slice in between a persons ribs, yet strong enough that you could heat it up, place it in ice water, the pound on it with feirce blows without it being shattered, let alone cracked.The hilt is simple. Its guard is a thick plate of steel dipped in silver, [for appeal and protection] and the hilt itself is nothing but a crimson wrap, identical to the colour of her sheath.

Sheath: Tanya’s sheath is simple. It’s long and wide enough to hold her blade, but its colour and design is unique. Imagine yourself pricking your finger on a sharp object, and a single drop of blood oozes out. Take note of the red. It is a rich colour yet it is slightly bright and very dark at the same time. Imagine that as the base, and it being polished many times over, and now that red hilt gleams. Now the silver design at the bottom. It spirals around the sheath until it’s about a quarter of the way up, but the strands are loose and not woven together tightly, but like a wandering path. The same pattern is repeated at the mouth of the sheath but only goes down one tenth of the way. This metal is silver coloured and it too, gleams like the red base.

Shikai Command: 'Bleed Turenai Tsuchi'

Shikai Abilities: Turenai Tsuchi has two abilitys in shikai. The fist one happens when the blade spills blood fom the opponent. As it cuts through and hits blood it releases a poisen made from Tanyas own blood. The more blood spilt, the more poisen is injected. Tanya has to be careful of this ability because it actualy uses her own blood. The amount her opponent looses, she looses.

The second ability is quite different however. It is very simalar to Zamari Leroux's abilaty to control an object. 'Love' I beleive he called it. It is also like Soi fon's shikai ability. The has to wound her opponent twice in the same area in order to gain temporary contol of whatever she wounds. Two injurys caused by her to the leg would let her contol the leg. (Lasts for four posts)

Hadō #1: Shō (衝, Thrust)
Description
Pushes the target away from the caster.

Hadō #2: Beniikazuchi (Crimson Thunder)

Description
A beam of deep red lightning is blasted from the user's pointing finger towards the enemy. It's intention is to make so much noise, that it breaks the enemy's orientation. Its strike is not very strong but the impact can make superficial bruises. It's a good Hadō for initiates.

Hadō #4: Byakurai (白雷, White Lightning)

Description
Fires a concentrated bolt of lightning from the caster's forefinger.

Hadō #5: Kūkū no Akuryoku (空空 の 握力, Grip of the Void)

Description
This art creates a short-lived bubble of nothingness around its target, causing weak spirits to explode. Stronger beings are not affected at all.

Hadō #8: Kutsūnomaru (苦痛 の 丸, Circle of Pain)

Bakudō #1: Sai (塞, Restrain)
Descritption
Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.

Bakudō #2: Kabe (壁, Wall)
Description
This spell erects a wall of spiritual energy in front of its target. It is neither high nor wide though, so most spirits, Hollows and Shinigami are just able to jump over it or go around it.

Bakudō #4: Hainawa (這縄, Crawling Rope)
Description
An energy rope entangles a target's arms.

Bakudō #7: Gaman no Fuuin (我慢の封印, Seal of Patience)
Description
When invoked, the seal creates a white mark on the casters right palm. When this mark is touched to a living being, the mark is transferred to it's body and turns black. From that moment, the flesh touched by the mark becomes rooted to that location in space, relative to the earth. What this means is that the part of the body that bears the mark cannot be moved from that location without being forcefully removed from the body. And even if that is done, it will continue to float there until the spell is released. While it's low rank is due to the extremely low amount of spiritual power required to activate, the spell itself is actually quite complicated and difficult to pull off properly. For this reason, most Shingami pass it up for other sealing spells that are just as effective for far less hassle.

Bakudō #8: Seki (斥, Repulse)
Description
Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.

Bakudō #9: Geki (撃, Strike)
Description
Engulfs a target in red light, completely paralyzing them.
