Hello!
Again, welcome to A Place of Harmony!
I'm the guild captain, Artistic Genocide!
I would like everyone to get to know eachother, so lets start by Intoductions! Everyone should post an introduction here first before they start a thread of their own. You can include as much or as little as you like!

Hobbies: I love to read and write, and i love to taske care of my plants and my little turtle. =3 I also like to sing in the shower, and pretend i'm not annoying my sister and brother with my singing. Not that anyone needed that visual.xD
How did i come by my Kinness:I Awoke to my being Otherkin through a tramatic memory of either a sever injury, or my 'death'. I decided to dig deeper after having this memory flash, and i tried to a sort of past life regression. I grabbed a pen and paper, and just set about doing the PAst life regression. I didn't know it at the time, but while i was in the meditative state i was drawing out my injury/'death' on the paper. When i got out of the trance, i realized i'd been in it for a few hours, where as i thought i was only in it for a few minutes. I looked down and saw the paper, with 'me' drawn on it. Stones were lining a pathway towards the temble i was shot outside of with an arrow, and the stones told my story. Since then, i've been having little snipits of memory every so often.

How did i come by my Kinness:I've known since I was Seven. I used to tell friends and distant family members about being "wolf inside" Until I was about 10. Then I started to be more secret about it and keep it hidden. For awhile I thought I was insane because schizophrenia runs in my family. I only told people I trusted the utmost on the internet about it. I had never really had a desire to find others like me or define what I was until recently. I just figured it was part of me and there was no need for definitions. Then my friend was looking up information on herself and I thought to myself, "Why not?" So I asked her to look it up for me. That's when she sent me the term Therian and I embraced what and who I was and sought out others like myself.

How did I come by my kinness: I have just known. It is hard to explain how you learn something like this when I grew up with a much broader understanding of self then most. I am part Cherokee so what most are brought to see as the mystical was always very real to me. I know the wolf is inside me and she is in a larger sense me. I haven't had a term for myself for very long, but it is nice now that I do for it has helped me connect with others like me.

Hobbies: Gaming (tabletop and video), Reading ( primarily sci-fi/fantasy and reference), Writing my own novel (not as interesting as it sounds XD lol ), Studying to get into vet school (*twitches*)
How did i come by my Kinness: I used to tell my mother I was a lemur from outer space, then I realised the lemur that was my constant companion wasn't me, it was my spirit guide. I've always been around cats and had catt-ish tendencies. I also feel fiercely protective of them, and other animals. I also dreamed I was a cat, and felt uncomfortable when sitting.
However it wasn't until last year when I was raising some kittens (one of which is still with me) I embraced the inner cat I'd been hiding from myself. Now I know the discomfort wasn't just my broken tailbone, but my broken tail.

Hobbies: knitting, crafty stuff xp , gaming, writing, learning Scottish Gaelic!
How did I come by my Kinness: I've always known more or less since I was maybe five?, granted at the time I didn't know what type of animal I was but it's very rare for me to trust others. I was ten when I came to the realization that I was a wolf. My parents have always described the way I act (mainly eatting blaugh ) as "watching animal planet". However, I didn't know I was a therian until about a week ago. And I've always had issues with a phantom tail.
Likes: doggy bones, chasing chipmonks (they annoy me stressed ), chewing on bones, sniffing at things and poking them (preferably with a stick blaugh ), and I love having fun!

Otherkin Type: I consider myself a Therian.
Theriotype: Arctic Dragon, or at least one that lives in Northern temperatures.
Hobbies: Playing video games, logging onto Gaia, survival camping (though I've never done it myself. xD), reading Game Informer, reading pretty much any Fantasy book I can get my hands on, especially ones about Dragons.
Likes: Drawing, reading, playing games, acting like my true self when no one is in the house, the cold, dragons (of course).
Dislikes: Intense heat, getting burned on the oven while making a cake (again), intolerant people who don't bother to learn all the facts before trolling threads, fanatics who hate dragons because they're 'Satan.'
Discovery: I actually only Awakened a few weeks ago, but I've been exhibiting qualities outside of the norm ever since I could remember. I loved dragons as a little girl, which is pretty odd. Even the vicious ones. (Actually, I liked those the best. xD) When I played games, I always wanted to be a dragon. I love raw (or rare, since I can't actually eat raw) meat, caves, and flying, even though I'm not able to do so. I like hoarding my food and money, and hate it when anyone touches either. There's other stuff too, of course, but I'm afraid I'm already in the process of creating a wall of text. xP

I love read, writing, drawing, meditation, and cooking. I also LOVE volunteering at a local wolf sanctuary, I spend almost every saturday morning out there. How did i come by my Kinness: From birth, I have been "different". I always knew that those around me were not like me. I was sickly, pale, and solitary. I knew things I shouldn't have known. Most animals loved me, particularly canines, wolves, sting rays, and owls. My parents struggled with both my mental and physical health. I have been handed over to various psycologists my whole life. I came to think I had to hide behind a freakish mask, and did. I began to frighten people involuntarily, and hurt others and myself for no reason except to dull the pain. Upon entering High school, I discovered someone else like me, and began to awaken slowly with his help. But he turned on me, and almost killed me, I fought him off and receeded into my masqurade again. Two years of struggling later, I woke again. I am bloody tired of hiding, and have come to realize many of my strengths since, and I will fight- I have eliminated the option of hiding. I have a sort of "gaurdian", whom I have fondly nicknamed Sage. He has been around for as long as I can remember, and was even my "imaginary friend" when I was younger. Bethy (Artistic Genocide) is a personal friend of mine and has actually met Sage.

How did i come by my Kinness: Well due to the unusual nature of my spiritual beliefs it was actual pretty easy to adopt the fact that I am Therian, once I learned of the term that is. Basically it boiled down to way to many traits in common with dogs, not to mention the dog being my totem animal.

Info: How did I know I am who I am? It all started in adolescence, I started to see a dragon around. Many times I would feel as if I had wings and hear a low growl, upon opening my eyes I'd see very large glowing red draconic eyes staring at me then hear "awake!". Dragon occurrences became more frequent as the years progressed. Once I got into trancework I noticed that when I would go into meditation I would always be a black dragon and any attempts to focus on family would result in dragons like me. This all lead to my current religious path with dragons.
Hobbies: Pagan Studies, divination, meditation, trancework, nature, cars, speed, midnight canyon runs to the beach, some gaming, anything in the Arts (yes anything).

Hobbies: Reading, writing, singing, Sims2, the internet, swimming, roller blading, biking, and anything else I feel like doing.

Dislikes: Alarms, mornings, cold ( I need the temperature to be 70+ for me to feel totally comfortable ), people who don't respect others' opinions, closed minded people.
Discovery: It seems I've known about my Therianthropy since I was very very young. I'd always acted like a feline and/or canine. For some time after I came upon the Inuyasha fad I called myself a demon, because that's what I could relate it to ( the manga/show demons ). I upon the term Therianthropy about a year or so ago, and I knew it was right.
My Vampiric awakening began when I was approximately nine or ten, and lasted through sixth grade ( two years ). I knew I was a Vampire, because it just made sense. I discovered the terms and such about the same time I discovered the term Therianthropy.

Likes- Helping out at the local soup kitchen, animals, supernatural/paranormal things, my family, africa, my pikachu slippers! caffeine, chocolate, going on night-time rides or walks, rare steaks =D yummy!
Dislikes- Liars, close-minded idiots who flame people, hard work, vegetables -shudders-
Awakening/Discovery- I'd sort of always known, I've always been on the fringe of everything, never fitting in, and I knew there was something different, compounded by the fact that I was alkways pretending to be/imagning I was a lion, and pouncing on people xD What clinched it were the vivid dreams and trancelike state I find myself to be in when I meditate, and the fact that I can seem to understand lions some of the time. I didn't know what it meant, though, I just thought i was going crazy XD but just a couple of days ago I heard the word 'therian' and I went "AHA!"

Well, I've been here a while and never really posted... I think it's about time!
me: My real name is Zoe, but I like Remyr better online, at least.

Species: Unknown, so far. All I know so far is that I don't think I'm a therian at all.
Likes: A lot of stuff. xD I'll add as I think.
Dislikes: Intolerant people who don't think. People who won't leave me alone when I clearly desire that time. And worst of all, when my game boy batteries die after I made good progress in a game and couldn't save.
Hobbies: I'm an artist. It's one of my favorite things to do, really. So if anyone wants avi art or something, just ask. I'll give it my best shot. Other than that, I love to read. When I have the time and the books to read, I tend to do nothing but unless I want to paint. Also, I am currently in overdrive on looking up information about different 'kintypes. I want to know as much as I can about others of the various types. Maybe something will eventually strike a chord and I'll find what I am.
How did I come by my Kinness: For a while I thought I was a vampyre. Likely a sanguinarian, and that's still a definite possibility. I embrace the idea... but until a blood donor comes along, I'll not define myself in such a way. This went on for two years. At the end of those years, I realized that I had changed since I convinced myself I was a vampyre and abandoned the label.
I knew deep inside... I'm not human at heart. I have lots of behaviors that support this, but it's just a pervasive idea that will not go away. So for now... until I recall something or learn something that feels 100% right, I am simply otherkin.
Once I abandoned the label, I discovered a whole different world, though. Otherkin. Therians. Fae, demons, dragons. I dove into it wholeheartedly, sucking up all the information I possibly could. For a while, I thought I was a wyvern. I see now, I shouldn't have leapt into the idea so quickly, and have forced myself to be more patient. I will wait. My identity will come at its own time, although that doesn't stop me from prodding at it to reveal its face.
One big thanks is due, though. Lupin-- you are amazing. You've stood by me through all my indecision, and all my self discovery. Also, you're welcome for helping you discover the therian community! ^^
