I've noticed a lot of inactivity from the majority of the members on the guild, especially among the most recent additions. I was wondering if there was anything you, the guild members, would like to see... More of certain types of threads, less of others... maybe more chances to win gold and items? Well, in order for anything to work, we need more members to contribute, and even donate. A lot of the prizes for the games in L.O.V.E. right now are prizes that I will be paying for and supplying on my own.
If you would like to see more subforums, we need more people to donate to the guild...
Basically, L.O.V.E.'s activity depends on the members, and if only a handful of members are contributing, then there is definitely a problem.
DISCUSS: Reasons for inactivity, improvements we can make to the guild, fundraisers, anything else related to making L.O.V.E. better.

I was thinking about maybe offering rewards every month for the guild's top poster, or maybe offering rewards for people who are active. Give people and incentive to post. The only thing that worries me about doing that is people will think we want quantity of quality. Having modded an rp forum for several years before coming to Gaia... I know how frustrating it is when there's only a handful of people that make quality posts, or are the only ones that post. I just don't want to see the forums turned into another chatterbox.

Well how about a reward for the funniest, smartest, most thought invoking post. Each mod could choose one a month and the guild members can vote on which they think is best.

That sounds good... But that also brings us to a matter of rewards. I would like to reward a lot of guild members, but I can only do so much. I'm questing right now and I can't really give away a whole lot of money or items. Donating to the guild is only going to go toward subforms and the likes.
I suppose we could work out some kind of a donation system... I've always got my mule. But we'd all have to decide which guild member we trust the most with the gold and items.

As to ways to improve the guild... Well, it seems to me that we have a lot of pointless threads that often have not to do with being evil. Maybe we should have another subforum for random topics like that?

Hello. I'll try to post more often.
How about some sort of riddle game? You could think of a tricky riddle or two, and depending on the difficulty, you could reward various prizes of different coolness values.
We could have a writing contest. L.O.V.E.Rs could submit stories and whatnot, after a certain time period, have people vote on the best story. Winner gets a small prize.
I'll try to think of other games and stuff. I'll probably post more, the Halloween lag is letting up. sweatdrop
Oh, one more. We could have a hall of fame thread. Winners of games get their names put in a special thread honoring their wins. Next to their names is date of win & what game they won. Just a thought.

We need evil interns. You know, those fresh college kids who want to become evil and what not.
It's so fun to pick on them! But of course in their interests we need more interns than just one....You know all us Evil genius people need henchmen.
Also let's have a friday night activity! Like Salsa dancing! Or classes like Principals of Evil Technology. And Evil cemistry, Evil history, P.E., Maniacal laughing, Spanish, and Ninja Driver's Ed.....
These are starting to sound more like Role plays than anything else....
