Christmas is better. You get more money. And you can buy candy and other stuff with the money. You can't buy money with candy.

It's always been a tradition at my house to have more candy around at Christmas than realistically necessary. M&M's, Hershey Kisses and Hugs...then there's the homemade fudge...the oodles of mixed nuts...the giant tin of three flavor popcorn...and candy canes. Can't forget those.

M&M's, Hershey Kisses and Hugs...then there's the homemade fudge...the oodles of mixed nuts...the giant tin of three flavor popcorn...and candy canes. Can't forget those. We do everything but the fudge. The nuts are sometimes left out because my mom doesn't want me to feel bad about being allergic, so she tries to avoid buying anything that I like and can't eat. I'll eat whatever I want, even if it makes me sick, like those Piroulines... My mom makes chocolate covered pretzels and Oreos around Christmastime. She used to cover Pringles that way (my favorite out of all three), but they don't make them with ridges anymore and they're breakable, so she doesn't make those.

Halloween is better for me, because it is my birthday. So I get candy and presents. And then I get to wait for Christmas, and get more presents. blaugh

Halloween is almost entirely an American thing. Germany tried it, but it caused too much trouble and vandalism, so I think they're going to do something about it.
