 i think shes a great person cause she gave up her life for the jewel also because she loved inuyasha(and still does).by her giving up her life the world was more peaceful but then some1 had to come and ruin that peace stressed but dont you think that act was loyal so why do most people hate her!?!?I think kikyo is a misunderstood character and people should give her more credit. i think inuyasha and kikyo is a great couple. heart when they were together they were so happy. I loved that episode when they showed how they met and stuff heart redface . i cried it was so romantic heart sweet (you even have to admit it) she was a good person and all. and can you blame her for how the way she is now she thought her love was using her i would have killed him too ya know.

She is misundersttod, and her protrayal in the anime doesn't help much either, the manga is much more sympathetic to her character.

when I was younger, I thought she was a Bi**h, but now I'm 16 and I started watching Inuyasha again, she's alright with me.
I guess it had to do something on the manga that made me start to think. *sigh*
I guess it's her death that made me think twice. -_-
BUT! I don't like Inuyasha and Kikyou together!
Kagome and Inuyasha always for me! XD
Kikyou didn't love Inuyasha like she should, like Kagome.
like come on, she wanted Inuyasha to be a human! DX

I don't think it's that people "hate Kikyo". I think it is that they hate Kikyo and Inuyasha together and that makes them dislike Kikyo. I think Kikyo is a great character and is needed in the manga. But I never like Kikyo for Inuyasha and am super happy that Inuyasha and Kagome end up together.

kikyo was always meant to b with inuyasha, kagome lives in another time period, the two of them cant exist in the same time so thats why when theyr near eachother kikyo tries to take kagomes soul

I see some points why people hate Kikyo. Yes she is dead, and can be cold sometimes. But I think she should be with Inuyasha. I've always liked Hojo with Kagome.

Surly near7 well at first i disliked her but after looking at the anime again she became OK with me. A misunderstood person. she has her reasons for being the way she is. AND i totaly agree!! fist of why would u waste ur time bitching about a character that is not even real. get a grip people.stop hateing my favorite character is kagome don't care if u don't like her s'not going to change a thing. eek *gives L stare of doom* *evily laughs* That's becuase I love anime and manga and if you have a problem with that then you shouldn't be commiting on my topic. Because I'm never going to change my mind on how I feel!
