Hi! Here's a spot for all those HP movie goers who've seen (or will soon see) the Half Blood Prince and want to discuss it. Thisi s our official movie discussion (until it dies off completely) so beware of spoilers!

I'm allowed, but it's sold out.

i want to see it so bad, but my parents arent willing to pay for tickets- we just have to wait for it to come out...

Sadly I am not going. I may go see it or just wait for it to come out on movie. I am sort of fed up with movie prices. I went to see Up and it was $10 because it was in 3-D.

I went to the midnight showing and the showing last night at 8:45pm.
Yes, it was that great that I HAD to see it twice!
Very good movie~

I went all out for this movie, lol. I had a party at my house, complete with HP foods, games, and costumes. It was a great way to get all of my friends from school together, since we all live in different cities. I had some extra pumpkin pasties and cauldron cakes left over, so I've been snacking on those. ^_^
And the midnight premiere was fantastic! I loved the movie. It's the best yet, imo. The only part I didn't like was the Burrow scene (if you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about). I went again yesterday afternoon with my brothers (who are too young for the midnight showing).
For anyone who's seen it, what did you think?

I thought that it's definitely the best Harry Potter movie.
By far.
I'm just really disappointed that they left out the whole battle scene and Dumbledore's funeral.
It was a huge let down.

I think as a movie in general, it was really quite good. But as a Harry Potter movie, it was kind of disappointing. If that makes any sense, haha.
I agree with those who didn't like the Burrow scene, and I think they left out a lot of little details/changed the way some things happened that will effect the way the story progresses in the 7th book. Like the way Harry's potion book gets hidden in the Room of Requirement? Not a fan, haha.
