At the moment, its 1-0 in the second leg, with Uruguay winning the first leg 0-1. Its officially tied right now, next goal could be the difference.

I don't think I need to say anything else, but that goal was ******** brilliant, Kewell you legend for setting it up, Guus you genius for getting Kewell on.

4-2 in shootots, Scwartzer or whatever the name of our glorious keeper is is the man of the moment, two monumental saves to make it unecessary for Uruguay to even bother with their final shot.

Viduka may have missed his shot, but Schwartzer. . . he's too good, just too good.

I know I don't like shootouts, because they can be crushing, but we won, I don't care how, we deserved it, the game was ours for the taking, and WE TOOK IT!

As for what happens next, well, any goal Uruguay score is worth two from the away goal rule, so we are by no way home, but definately a long way towards it, and if it's tied at the end of this match, it goes to extra time. No result after extra time and it goes to a penalty shootout.

I don't want that, shootouts just plain suck.

We can do it. . . the fans really need to step up though, the players are doing great, its just a matter of if it can be converted and I think the fans are the biggest difference in the matter.

I don't believe it. I saw the last moments of the match, and I was just amazed. It was the most exciting soccer match I have ever seen.

Man, this will be on the front page in all the newspapers around the country tomorrow.

I think I have to do something in honour of this occasion.

We were at school at the time, with a concert on and some of the people had a TV on. Terrible reception, but by interval they had gotten a goal.

Watched the rest at home- Mum managed to tear me away from the computer to force me to watch the shootout. That was awesome. They should've let Uruguay get another kick or something though. They can't win, of course, but 4-3 sounds a hell of a lot better than 4-2.
