Also, I'm sleepy. Being awake for around 15 hours straight does that to you, though.

I liked the first half of the anime but not the second. I haven't read the manga but I hear that it's a lot better.

I won't spoil anything for you.
Basically, the series went from really dramatic and almost philosophical to melodramatic and ridiculous. At some point all that sad stuff becomes so absurd I was like 'whatever, just shoot some puppies next why don't you?'
