Brief Storyline Summary
The following is a brief statement summarizing the storyline in The Brink of Time. It will be updated as time goes on to reflect the story progression as more and more is revealed.

There exists a place outside the universe, beyond the reach of Heaven and Hell, immune to the passing of seconds. A place without seasons or stars. A rest stop between all times and locations. It is known as the Brink of Time.
People from across time and space are drawn by a strange force to the Brink of Time. There they meet Tavin, a fallen angel who has claimed the Brink as his home. Tavin's powers in the brink are minimal at first, but he slowly gains some control over his environment. He fashions the Brink in the likeness of a bar, creates rooms for his guests, and a library containing a vast amount of knowledge.
Before long, however, both Tavin and the Brink itself become harried by the Seraphim, a choir of renegade angels intent on killing Tavin and seizing the Brink. Tavin and his guests begin fighting a battle to save the Brink from the Seraphim, arming them with Brink Powers that will be their only advantage in the fight against the Seraphim.
In one heated battle, when it seems the Seraphim must prevail, Tavin snaps and unmakes a Seraphim. The mental strain of this deed is too much for him, and leaves Tavin unbalanced and close to death. He is rescued by the most unlikely of saviors: the Seraphim himself.
When he comes to, Tavin finds the Brink has been subtly reformed. Old guests return and new guests arrive. Friendships are made and new loves are forged, but the threat of the Seraphim lurks at all times. One by one, the Seraphim contacts them--making proposals, threats and attacks-- trying to drive wedges between them and confuse their loyalties.
The battle for the Brink is only beginning...
