The Brink of Time - Main Room

A - The Door: This door allows users to leave The Brink of their own accord, provided they use the proper key. A person can only open the door with their own key (See B), but by invitation, other people may temporarily join them by entering the door before them, after they have opened it. Once you have passed through the door, you cannot return through it, and are deposited where and when you were when you entered The Brink. The Key used will always disappear after being used and reappear back on the Key Rack. Only the Keyowner can open the door, and only with their key. A different persons key will never work for them.

B - The Key Rack: This board on the wall of The Brink has rows and rows of hooks, and from each hook dangles a key with a keyring, one for each person who has been in The Brink. People who enter The Brink may leave at any time by using their key to unlock The Door (A), and may invite people to join them temporarily in the Keyowner's domain (To join a Member's Adventure Thread). While anyone can pick up anyone else's key, only the Keyowner can open The Door with it. Once a person leaves The Brink, the key disappears from his or her possession and returns to its respective place on the rack.

C - Passageway to the Rooms/ Guest Quarters: This passageway goes for what seems like a good three hundred yards to open up into the Guest Quarters.

D - Passageway to the Library/ Study: This passageway twists and turns several hundred yards to open up into The Library.

E - ????????:

F - The Bar: This is The Brink of Time's Bar. The bar is always stocked with every possible drink at all times as well as various other items one would usually find in a Bar, such as peanuts, seltzer, coctail weenies, pretzels, and the like.

G - The Wall Cabinet: This is Tavin's personal cabinet. It cannot be opened by anyone other than himself, and always stays locked. The contents of this cabinet are unknown, but if you want something kept safe in The Brink, this is the best place to keep it.

H1-10 - Tables and Chairs: This represents the layout of tables in the main room. Chairs are not represented as they are numerous and oft moved around. The tables themselves are high quality solid Oak.

A- Passageway to Main Room/ Bar: A long and winding passageway that leads to the Main Room

B- The Great Bookshelf: The entire wall of The Library is a massive bookshelf that curves from one side of the entrance to the other, in a gigantic circle. Books of every imaginable type from every era of history since the written word was created can be found here

C- Standard Bookshelves: Rows of bookshelves can be found here as well, also containing a variety of titles

D- The Isolation Room: This small cubicle is sealed off with sound dampening material on the inside and a single door that can be closed and locked from the inside. A wonderful getaway for those who really want to be alone, and the soundproofing makes certain that the outside can't be heard inside and the other way around >_<

E- Study Desks: Rows of rectangular tables are set here to offer a place to sit down while studying.

The Brink of Time - Living Quarters

A- Passageway to the Main Room: 'nuff said

B- Individual Rooms: Rows of rooms can be found, each individual room measuring a square of 20 feet each side measured from the outside. On the inside, however, one will find each room is larger than that- depending on the individuals preferance, and comes completely furnished, with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. Each room in The Brink has its own individual number, and one corresponding key, which is automatically attached to a person's keyring (See Main Room) when they check in. Thus, each individual has one key for their room which will never be lost.

A - Passageway from the Main Room: Its a straight shot about a hundred yards or so from the Main Room to the entrance of the Rec Room. The first thing a visitor will notice would be the colorful hanging strings of beads covering the entrance to the Rec Room.

B - Television: Sitting on top of a plain particle board furniture stand is a Quasar 13 inch UHF/VHF Color Television, complete with a pair of Rabbit Ear Antennea. Obviously, the Television will never pick up any broadcast signal.

C1 - BetaMax Player: A Sony Super BetaMax Player SL HF-400. In decent condition. Missing the record button. The case next to the box contains a few great titles- Conan the Barbarion, First Blood, Torn Curtain, Ragtime, Grand Hotel, Real Genius, Pee Wee's Big Adventure and Escape From New York.

C2 - Atari 2600: Fully functional Atari 2600 (with some slight discoloration) and two controllers! The cardboard box next to it contains the following cartridges- Adventures of Tron, Asteroids, Baseball, Burgertime, Centipede, Defender II, Dig Dug, Donkey Kong, Elevator Action, Frogger, Joust, Missile Command, Moon Patrol and Pitfall.

D - The Couch: A large, purple, crushed velvet couch. Four down throw pillows, springs are giving out. Smells slightly musty.

E1-E3 - Arcade Cabinets: Three Arcade Cabinets, all fully functional, all tuned on to "Free Play" mode. (1)Mrs. Pac-Man, (2)Galaxian, (3)Millipede.

F - The Refridgerator: A Family sized Whirlpool fridge. No matter what its always stocked with the following- Half a pizza (The type varies from time to time), Several cans of Tab (Various flavors), A stick of butter, A quarter of a gallon of milk (Kind varies), three sticks of string cheese (individually wrapped), A bottle of orange juice, an apple (kind varies) and a bananna. In the Freezer will always be found a half gallon of ice cream (Type varies), and a tray of ice cubes.

G - Food Cabinet: This assortment of maple wood cabinets house a variety of dry and canned foods, as well as a full assortment of utinsels. The foods found within are- A box of Cracker Jacks, a can of raisins, an open box of stale graham crackers, half a bag of marshmallows, a bag of sunflower seeds, an open box of cereal (Type varies between Count Chockula, Apple Jacks, and Kix), Three packs of Bazooka Joe Bubble Gum, a bag or tortilla chips, and a bag of Cheetos.

H - Ping Pong Table: A standard full sized Ping Pong Table with four paddles. A box of eight ping pong balls is located under the table itself.

I - Foosball Table: A full sized Foosball Table. The characters are dressed in green and yellow teams. The ball catch on the side of the table holds four balls. The middle bar for the green side is missing a grip.

J - Pool Table: A standard full sized Pool Table. The rack next to the table contains a full assortment of Billiard Cues as well as full assortment of accessories for the game.

K - The Jukebox: This jukebox is a mystery. On the outside it resembles an old 50's soda shop jukebox, with the colored lights. You can even see inside at the records fanned out inside the machine, ready to be played. However, its key pad has been gutted and replaced by a high tech computer pad. The pad has a button for each letter of the alphabet, as well as an up and down arrow key, an enter button and a cancel button. The small digital display asks for the user to enter the name of the artist. It then gives a complete list of songs by that artist, and allows the user to scroll through them all and select the one he wants. It then starts playing. The jukebox has EVERY song ever recorded, on any audio format. A user can also play mutiple songs by selecting a song and holding down the enter key for four seconds. The jukebox will add the song to the queue and ask the user to pick another artist and song. Up to five songs can be queued in this manner. The jukebox, while it HAS a coin slot, costs nothing to use.

# - Beanbag Chairs: In the room are a plethora of beanbag chairs of various sizes and colors, and made out of various materials.

(Note! None of the electrical items in the Rec room are actually plugged in. They all work just fine, however. Also, none of the food will ever spoil or go bad, nor will it ever run out. If you grab three slices of pizza, the next time you open the fridge, there will STILL be half a pizza. Food items that are left unattended for longer than three hours will fade away, however.)
