Name: Takuto Kirijou

Alias/Nicknames: Vyse

Appearance: Finding himself a bit vertically challenged compared to other 19-year olds in his mind, even if it is merely by an inch(As he stands at about 5' 11"), Takuto finds ways to distinguish himself all the same through is interesting style of attire. While his body does seem the type to be carried off in the breeze, he has a bit of a lean physique underneath the semi-loose fitting clothing he wears about. While not boasting any real muscle, his main muscle focus is within his powerful legs while the rest of his figure remains that of a basic teenage build. A fair complexion(though sometimes dirtied a bit) with brown eyes that seem to take on a bit of a golden tint due to his contacts, his black hair is dyed dark blue simply because he had the opportunity. He doesn't miss a beat and isn't afraid to dress a bit haphazardly if it means getting around that much sooner, so he carries that look as if one to be a diamond in the rough with a pair of black jeans and indigo vest over a black top with the symbol of atomsk in the center. Black steel-toed boots and a metal wristband of unknown material hangs from his left forearm, dangling a

Personality: Bold and resolute as he can be in the heat of the moment, he'll lose himself pretty easily in music and can be a bit of a 'backseat driver' more so than the upfront order giving type when calm. With a bit of a complex as to 'right and wrong' when it comes to acting a certain way, he has a genuine quality about him that allows one to discern his true motives are purer than he'll give credit for.

For those who are close to him, he's a bit more relaxed than his outward appearance would hint towards, but he can easily be riled up. The slightest change that affects his 'status quo' can cause him to become defensive and inverted, but will do his best to never show himself to be as weak as he may feel. He can be as socially awkward or as empathetic as the situation requires, but once you get him really started, it's harder than it looks to shut him up. Though he'll never admit it out loud, he has a bit of a passion for classical music and will sneak in the occasional symphonies into his library of mostly rock and techno-oriented music playlists. He can't play any instrument for the life of him, but he would enjoy the thought of someday learning to play the piano or violin and pursuing a dream he knows he doesn't have the attention span to realize.

N.O. User? Takuto is an N.O. User and is a Space Pirate.

Guitar/Bass Guitar: Takuto sports a solid black Flying V 1958 Bass Guitar. Nothing too fancy or unique about it, it reflects his values of not how fancy one looks in outward appearances but the capabilities latent inside. Takuto's Flying V is a pure black affair with 21 frets on a rosewood fretboard, a maple deck, and a Korina wood body. The model comes with two large humbuckers and is adorned with a pure black finish with equally black pick guard, the body is shaped exactly like the Gibson model of the Flying V guitar except the bass is specially outfitted with super heavy strings which make it harder to play, but the sound of it when utilized properly is unbelievable. Takuto prides himself on keeping this baby in immaculate condition and rigorously cleans and maintains it after every use, calling it his 'path to the stars'.

Special Accessories: None, Takuto finds it unnecessary to cling to the past and only looks towards the present and future once today has become yesterday. His only memento is a charm handing off one of the wristbands he wears to which its origin or significance he refuses to ever divulge.

Background History: Never really going wanting, but never really privileged, Takuto had always walked that middle ground that was mediocrity in his life. Born as an only child with a balance of love and hate coming from both parents as time passed on, it was simple enough for him to grow up as an utterly balanced character aside from his constantly wishing to become more. His father was a factory worker, his mother was a nurse; between them the bills got paid with just enough left over for groceries and that was that for the month. So it went on except for the horrible depression occurring in the world after the departure of medical meccanica and the disappearance of Atomsk to which Haruko gave chase. Takuto was one of few refugees who ended up in Mabase during the raids as his family began migrating in search of a place with some sparse amount of room and jobs, but to their dismay all they found were a group of Space Pirates along one of their routes.

Taken into custody as a potential slave, he was taken into captivity as well as the rest of his family. His parents were sold off quickly enough for a fair enough price, leaving Takuto all alone in life now, the pirates only keeping him for the purpose of working long and hard to toughen him up to become a more suitable sell. That was one of their more dire mistakes, as Takuto took began to take in his surroundings and learn about the Pirates in his time being under their foot. It didn't take him long before he could pull minor cons and sneak his way out of certain situations, but he would sometimes overstep his bounds and get caught in the act. This cycle of con and capture brought him to be an unsuitable sell as a slave and simply became a prisoner to the pirates as his defiance and cold nature made him uncontrollable.

The boy's time spent in solitary left him with nothing to do but stew in his misery and lonesome, his thoughts began to mix and his hatred began to build for the pirates that had ruined him. This build up caused him to finally crack and the build up of anger and emotional distress invoked the power of an N.O. portal, unintentionally breaking him out of his cell and bonds. The boy rose from his cage and gripped the lump on his forehead, tugging at it despite the pain he felt from the feeling of ripping a massive tool from a space in his forehead. From this portal came Takuto's Flying V Bass Guitar, the fruit of his mental toil that would free him from his shackles, and he saw this instantly only to began to wreak havoc on the Pirate's base.

In a torrent of malicious screams and loud explosions, Takuto had managed to level a good quarter of the base until he made his way to the leader. This man who stood before him, a corrupt power-hungry man whom had been consumed by wealth...this was the image of a space pirate in Takuto's mind. As he dispatched this wretched individual with his own two hands, he looked around at the destruction he'd caused with a bit of pleasure in his handy work. But as the previous leader perished, he spoke of the true Pirate King: Atomsk; a being with the power to steal whole star systems from the sky, the true Leader of the pirates. Such a man...piqued inside Takuto, such an existence being truly behind the Pirates made him Anxious; so, instead of destroying the Pirates at their core...he decided to use his foothold as the boy who wiped out their base and used the fear instilled to take command himself.

Under his authority, he rebuilt the Space Pirates and dedicated themselves to bringing back this 'Pirate King Atomsk' and vowing to dispatch anyone who would seek to claim him for themselves. Takuto felt the undying desire to seek out this being, and he decided on that day that no one would take that prize at the end of the rainbow away from him. So now, some years later, Takuto stands as the de facto commander of the Space Pirates and coordinates them in search of Atomsk to return him to his rightful position.
