well usually we go to see the fireworks display... assuming it's not raining or the clouds are too low and the fireworks just... disappear. O_o

Ah, I see. Unfortunately it's not really the best time of year for fireworks since it gets dark so late.
Now I have Canada's national anthem in my head. xd

Happy Canada Day Canadians!! Is this like your 4th of July? The British one isn't so great either. It's just rambling about the Queen. I've only ever sung it at remembrance services. How does the American National anthem go? I can't remember. I only know any of the Canadian one because of this video by some Canadian sketch comedy guys.
