The Abby- The abby stands as a place for those seeking knowledge and pushing their magical limits, it host many arcane books and grimoires in its vast halls of bookshelves.
it also host an arena where members can test their strength against one another in combat, or take on the Abby's one set of various oponents from wild beasts to reigning champions.
the arena rules are simple there are no rules, enter at your own risk, killing is frowned apon but not intirely prohibited.

katherine lifts the edges of her dress as she steps down from the library ladder holding a large volume in her hands. katherine looks down into the book she brushes her blonde hair back from her face as she skims for a spell. her fingers travelled down teh aged page and continued to search

"So... what are you looking for, there?" Matthew said in a very calm and flat tone. He had seen here from across the library and figured he knowledge of Library could help her in some way. He was lend against a table and let his Light brown hair hang as it would please.

her voice was soft in her slight frame, "a spell obviously or why be in this part of the library. an old one that seems to want to allude me..." her brow forrowed slightly

Matthew grinned at her. "No need to be snooty. Now... tell me what spell, and ill do my best to assist you in any way. " He stood up straight when he said that.

katherine looks at him with narrow ice blue eyes "im not snooty, im just grumpy..i havent been able to find a silencing spell thatll cover the old rooms in the house so i can continue expierementing with magick while people are sleeping without touching the ward spells on the place" she lifted the edge of her skirt to walk up the ladder again reaching out along the shelf to put the book back she had

He smiled and lifted his hand. A book about 20 feet away from you and 5 shelfs down a floated to your side. The book was a dark rough shade of red. It was finally aged. "Kaveler's Mic Spells, Volume 12.4"

she looked at him a moment decided she didnt want to know and slid down on the edges of the ladder she looked at the book and gestured it come to her with 2 fingers. it seemed to grumble and she took it from the air skimming thru it, "thank u"

He shrugged and said in a mild tone "Not a problem, and no thanks needed. So... may i ask what you are experimenting? Curiosity many have killed the cat... But i never heard of it killing a Warlock, so i think im safe on that one."

He raised a eyebrow "Really now... What would a girl like you want to do with that?perhpas you have your own Curiosity?"
He took a random guess instead of giving his full guess. He hated to answer right before he gave them a chance to tell him. It made him feel, rude.

He looked at her searchingly "Well... i have a few theories. But, i would make rather have you tell me. My guesses could be right...or They could be completely and utterly false for all i know."

Matthew nodded. It was one of his theories, inside his mind he gave himself a little pat on the back "Really... You just want to know alot about it? Or just see what all you can do about it?"
Matthew now become interested in this. He just hoped he wasnt showing he was TOO interested.
