. . . .. . is cookin' . . [ And his opponent, from Miami, Florida .. ][ Weighing in at 245 lbs. .. THE ROCK!! ]======= None too happy was The Rock tonight as he was being FORCED to compete in a Steel Cage Match with someone, he felt, was not worth his time, even to the point where he walked out of his match with Nightsky on Friday. But since it wasn't a pleasing display to the fans, or the GM for that matter, this match was signed. Nightsky was going to get his hands on the extremely mouthy and arrogant Rock. The Rock felt he was right for walking out, but to the eyes of many others, it seemed like The Rock was just .. chicken. There was no room for that tonight though as he'd be locked into the cage with Travis. Spitting off to the side, he stared wide-eyed at the steel structure. It'd been so long since he was in a match like this. Heading up the steps, he slapped himself in the face a few times to psyche himself up as the door was shut and locked. Here came the bell.

It had been quite some time since Nightsky had been in the solid steel structure as well. Memories of his OECW Commissioner days and his GWF career ran through his head. Part of Travis felt honored to be in the ring with one competitor he'd idolized as a young man... Another part was ashamed to have ever idolized a man who could walk out on a match without a second though.
Ding ding ding!
Well, it was time for this match to begin. Travis was ready, as he charged the Great One and instantly went for a forearm to his face.
(( I might not be too active during the first portion of this match. I have very limited internet access for the next few days or so, but I'll try to post as much as I can. 3nodding ))

The Rock heard the bell ring, and Travis immediately charged in with that forearm, causing him to try and cover up as much as he could! Doubling in, The Rock attempted to shove Travis backward to make some distance between the two!

Travis was shoved, he stumbled backwards a couple paces. His first instinct was to charge right back in, but at the last moment he had another thought. He stopped and kept his eyes on the Rock.
"C'mon, bro! Let's do this!"

The Rock shook his head -- but suddenly went for the cheap shot by rushing in, attempting to clothesline Nightsky down to the canvas!

Nightsky was a little caught up in laughing at the Rock when he was slammed down onto the canvas with a cheap clothesline. His head bounced off the canvas, and he immediately grabbed the back of his head.

The Rock just pointed at his temple and clapped for himself! It was BEAUTIFUL strategy that worked! With Nightsky down, The Rock stalked him .. before moving up, attempting to rain a shaky-shaky stomp down onto the skull of Travis!

Once again, Travis' head bounced off the canvas! His body shot up on impact, before falling right back down to the canvas, Travis' foot twitching a bit.

Leaning down, The Rock looked to pull Travis up to a stand by the hair. If successful, he then tried to rake his face across the nearest cage wall!

As Travis' head was being brought to the cage, he blocked it with one arm, and sent an elbow back towards the face of the rock with the other!

The elbow caught The Rock right between the eyes as he grimaced and held his face .. staggering away! NO, HIS FACE WAS MONEY, NOT THE FACE ..!!

OH YES! HIS FACE!! Travis now grabbed for Rocky and would hope to turn and slam his valuable face into the side of the cage!

The Rock was thrown up against the cage of the wall, off his feet as he bounced off and staggered aside, holding his face and falling over!
