"Kelly Clarkson has confessed in a new interview that not only is she a “huge” Twilight fan but she is actually a “nerd” Twilight fan … so much so that she has penned a song titled Empty As I Am with her backup singers for possible inclusion on the soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: New Moon:
Describing the book New Moon as the “saddest book” of the Twilight Saga series, Kelly explains that she was inspired to write an equally sad yet poignant song for the story … and now that the film is set for release this November and will require songs for the film’s soundtrack she is hoping that her song will make it on the album. Like how Bella complains about getting a new car, about how she leads Jacob on, but never about how she's being abused and controlled by Edward.
