How to write a japanese address? Hold on lemme just get my host sister's address and See how it's layed out...
From the looks of it, it goes:
(house number) (prefecture)
(town)(city)
(postal code)
I'll show you an example address:
213-43 Arita
Maebaru City, Fukuoka
723-6235

I've been studying Japanese for over 6 years and I am sort of fluent (if you have limited vocabulary that is), so I would be more than willing to help out with this thread (at least until I have an idea for a lesson and actually start my own.....which will take forever. Maybe if I'm lucky I might explain some historical aspects with words in Japanese. History in Japanese is confusing, especially to one that has never learned Japanese history.....and more obscure stuff is obviously going to be harder, therefore....I'm rambling on.....xD)
Edit: Whoops, might as well type some Nihongos:
だいたい６年間ぐらい日本語を勉強しているから、このスレッドは手伝いたいだ。 日本に行ったことがあるし、そこで一年間も留学していたし。 だから、僕に対して、質問を聞いてもいいよ～！

'kana' can mean 'i wonder'
'Daijoubu kana...'
I wonder if it's alright...

I know this is stupid, and probably not the right place to say this, but, can you give us homework, i only have a night course so its 3 hours a week, and we never got homework, or tests (and i did actually ask loads of times for it) and i was wondering if you could write a few pages on homework.. maybe not,. itll probably do your head in being a teacher, shall i just go away? :p

Hello hello. Um, I've been studying Japanese for about...seven years now, but I'm still really...REALLY bad at using particles for some unknown reason. I'm doing a lot of self studying over the summer to prepare for Japanese 401 at the University I go to, and I was wondering, would it be alright if I post some of the sentences I make as part of my homework, and have someone check the particle usage for me? I won't post all the sentences I make, obviously, just the one's that I'm really not sure on.

Edit: I will also stick around to help people if they need it, as long as it's not on particles! sweatdrop

I'll even throw out a test question to get this started: Are there any other ways か can be used outside of question sentences? yes there is actually, i just bought a book on japanese particles for 22 bucks at borders. um, lemme see... theres: *kai *kana *kara *karashite *kashira *ke *keredemo(kedo) *kiri *koso *koto I would go through them all, but that would take forever. theres like 5 examples for each particle.
