The Heartbreaker Mike Landry makes his first appearance in the AWF wandering backstage, scoping out his the newest territory he was about to add to his realm of wrestling dominance.

Far from scoping out the territory, Masked, Jeri, their manager Donny and an old friend, Amuse where all sitting at a table with a couple of backstage hands playing poker, seemingly having already settled in.
Donny more so than the others, a large stack of chips sitting next to his elbow, Masked seemingly breaking even and the others seemed to be the main contributers to Donny's ever growing wealth. The Scotsman grinned at the four with the least amount of chips "If I keep this up, yer all gonna have tae start askin' fer raises to cover this"

BJ strolled up to the table "Well I havent seen a chip stack like that in a while" She smiled "Whats the game gentlemen? Im an ace at Texas hold em" She pulled up a chair sitting back from the table "Its good to see some old faces around, almost like coming home again"

The door from the car park opened and a tall figure walked through it, talking away on a cell phone
"Well when does your flight get in? I know I know we have a few weeks yet but still I want you to scope out the competition with me, I only know a few names in this league" He stopped and listened to the voice on the other end, pulling his hood down. He turned around and examined himself in a mirror revealing that he was Christian. "Uhuh well I will see you then, Ill go and claim a room for us to inhabit"
He hung up and looked down the hallway and headed off to look for a room

"Texas Hold Em it is, and take a picture, the stacks not going to be there for long" Amuse said as he dealt out the next round, Donny grinning "Sure is like the old days I have tae say, though ye'll no see me in the ring. Back here though, luck of the cards is all it is for me, I'm just unpredictable I suppose"
"That" Masked chipped in "and the fact that you have so many tells its hard to tell one from the other" he lifted the corner of his cards for a glance "He's winning, he's talking, he's losing, he's talking. Good, bad, even. Talk, talk, talk, Ive only seen him shut up once"
Jeri checked his own cards "Oh? When was that?"
Masked chuckled "When he lost that knock out match"

BJ laughed and pulled out a lollypop from her pocket "Well Im not entirely sure that surprises me" She stood up "Well sorry to love ya and leave ya, but I'd better get going and find myself a locker room. Great to see you guys again" She smiled, waved and turned to walk away

Masked leaned back in his chair and playfully yelled out "Next time, more loving, less leaving if you please" rocking the chair back down as he flicked a few chips in, the rest of the table following suit.
"Oh! Lets play strip poker!" one of the backstage hands said suddenly. The whole table silently stared at him, Donny finally breaking the silence "Why did you say that when the only possible female player left?"
The guy turned red, mumbling under his breath until he quickly stood up and blurted out "I think Masked is hot!" and stumbled away, all eyes on Masked as fast as they had the stage hand.
Masked looked at them all, then the retreating man, shrugged and mumbled "Less loving, more leaving"

Matt Shanahan walked out from the parking lot, carrying a duffel bag on his shoulder. The God of Punks looked around, not familiar at all with the arena.

~The Angel makes his way backstage after a long hiatus in the AWF, he looks around and smiles~
"This place hasen't changed a bit."
~With that said he begins to walk around looking for some familer faces~

Donny's phone suddenly started to play "Flower of Scotland", standing up from the table and stepping away to get some quiet.
"Cheena! Long time no see lass! How are ye? Hows Japan tre... uh-huh... oh, I see... no, no, Ill call ye back later... thanks for letting me know, hope to see ye soon, take care"
Slowly, he closed the phone and held his breath as he sat down, Amuse glancing between him and his cards "Whats up? Chee saying?"
"Mitsuharu Misawa died in the ring, the uh... Japanese promoter, I worked for him sometime"
Amuse and Masked had frozen, Jeri just looking between all of them in confusion "You all worked for him at some point I take it?"
"Yeah, yeah" Amuse mumbled, a silence sweeping over them, Masked eventually raising his drink "To Misawa" followed by them all bringing their drinks together and repeating it.
"To Misawa"

((I am actually pleased someone has picked up that character, I was pissed off when they unmasked him, I thought it was pointless, particularly as he is another fave of mine))
