~::The Tower of Demise - Tartarus::~
Where once was a beautiful paradise inside the television now stands a monument to the depths of human despair; a tower which has six levels, over two hundred and sixty floors, and is filled with wretched shadows of the most dangerous variety looms high over the rest of the TV World, so high that if not for the growing fog it could be seen from miles and miles away on the horizon. And while it has begun to appear on the television, it continues to exist only inside the TV...for now...but whatever the residents of the Tower intend for it henceforth, it can only spell doom.
Tartarus...the calling point for death itself...is reformed. And if Nyx should descend and connect with Erebus, it may well spell the bitter end for all, regardless of whether it was what men truly wished for or not.

~::Simon, the Progenitor::~
It was a harrowing journey, the sounds of shadows moaning echoing as the man who called himself Simon carried Kazuma and Teros to a world unlike any they had seen before...and while it was still inside the television world shared by the Data Dungeon World, they would see as soon as they arrived the vast difference between the barren hovel they had come from...and the great Tower that stood before them. Landing in front of the gate, the Progenitor stepped out from the blackness first, raising a hand and whispering a few words before the large metal entrance swung itself open for the three of them. Turning around once it had, he smirked calmly at the two and spread his arms as if to welcome the two of them to their new abode. "What you see before you now is the very source of shadows...from which all other shadows are born. The Tower of Demise; some call her Tartarus," he introduced their home, his golden eye flashing as he watched them for their reaction to seeing a structure...an existence unlike any they had ever seen. Here, the power of the shadows inside of them would pulsate wildly, with an intensity and strength unlike anything they had ever felt before, even in the Data Dungeon World with the shadows they controlled there. It was as if this place itself was in-tune with them...giving them strength...driving them wild. And then, just as the screams inside of them felt like they couldn't get any louder...they were overshadowed by real, live screams, right in front of them.
Two girls appeared through the darkness beside the man called Simon...one with blond hair, one with green hair...sobbing on their knees before the two men he had brought with him. "Did you know...that a true shadow cannot exist without a living source?" he asked with that haughty smile, ignoring the pathetic wails of the girls beside him, "two existences...entwined, dependent on one another...but what if you could take the essence of one..." he reached his hands down to the backs of the girls and gripped at some invisible force, before pulling up. And with his hands two black forms suddenly arose, taking the appearances of the girls only different...he had torn from their bodies their shadows, just as Hetero had done to Yuuki and Hikaru. Then, lowering his hands back down to the girl's necks and gripped them tightly...before thrusting them forward onto their knees just before the two teens. "...And bind it to yourself, instead? You can discard the waste; keep the power for your own. Do you understand?" Together, the shadows giggled amused as their other selves shuddered before their captors...but if Simon was at all troubled he did not reveal it, calm as ever, and smiling.
"Just as you devoured the mindless shadows in this world...so too shall you devour these. But to devour a shadow that retains a consciousness requires a great deal of power...the strong will, the sense of self, to repress the invading consciousness while claiming its power as your own. If you cannot suppress the shadow's will, it will mingle with your own...it's memories, it's will, will become fused with your own...until you can no longer tell the difference between them. It was in this crucial point...that Hetero is lacking...and it is why he is incapable of helping you to obtain this power," he explained casually, before commanding the shadows of the girls to walk forward and stand beside them, "did you know that Hetero's real name is Hajime Maekawa? Or rather, that is what he believes is his real name, now...it is because he was not ready...that he struggles now to remember who and what he once was. And the same could happen to you..." Each of the female shadows touched the arm of the one that they had been sent to stand beside, a welcoming smile on their lips as they seemed to invite them.
"Knowing this...if you have the will to be strong...then do what you must. Devour the shadows...and kill what remains. Then, if you don't believe me...feel free to strike me down where I stand," he invited them cordially, keeping his sword in his sheath as he spread his arms with a smirk, "however, once you understand that my offer is no joke...then you shall pledge yourselves to myself, and my master...until our will is done. ...Do we have an accord?"

I QUAKE TAKING UP SPACE I BREAK ( My Heart is Awfully Tired )format form y x p r a y e r s x h a v e x v a n i s h e d x E v e r y t h i n g ' s x b r o k e n x i n x v a i n x H e r e x m y x S T O R Y x e n d s.. THIS IS THE FARTHEST END DOKIDOKI steak !I OWE THIS TO C.S I am Lost..and Lost all...Sombody embrace me now...Please embrace me now.. Once Kazuma and the others arrived to their destination the Black Knight kept staring at Simon. He didn't exit out of his shadow form because the guy who promise them power still could be a trickster. The three arrived at the gates of a very large tower. A very messed up looking tower, Kazuma looked up in awe of the horrific designs of the tower. No reasonable explaination could justify on why the tower looked that way. If Kazuma was some artist he would dub this tower as something beautiful, but Kazuma wasn't here just to stare at some tower, hence why he wasn't artist. He wondered why this Simon character took Kazuma and Teros to this tower. Simon caught his attention once he explained the purpose of this tower called Tartarus. "Her..?" the black knight wasn't so sure about what he meant by referring to the tower as a female. However it was clear that this was their new home, and it came with benefits. Kazuma felt a surge of power flowing through him. He didn't know how this power got her, or why, but it felt good. He didn't felt like this when he was in the Data Dungeon world. He never dreamed of this kind of power; maybe Simon wasn't full of s**t like Kazuma imagine. This newfound power within Kazuma was making him so very anxious, it was making him go nuts, he wanted to test this power; he wanted to destroy someone with this kind of strength. That would have to wait for a later date however; those screams were getting awfully loud. He wondered what the hell was making that sound.
That was when two little girls appeared next to Simon. One of them looked awfully familiar; taking a closer look at the blond hair girl Kazuma finally figured out who she was. "Megumi.." He remembered her from way back when Kazuma was still on the I.team; she was Hikaru's sister. She once tried to hang out with him and Shikari; how Simon manage to get her in the TV world was a amusing thought. Looked like Simon was giving them a lecture, well to Kazuma it seemed that way. So a shadow couldn't exist without a living source, Kazuma wondered what was significant about this information. That was until he ripped the shadows from the two girls body and saying that they could actually harnest their power. This was amusing to the Black Knight, but how would they be able to? Simon had an answer to that of course. The process was the same as it was with the mindless shadows that Hetero brought to them, they would have to eat the shadows. This time there was some hazardous warnings when devouring these type of shadows. Their shadow's will will fight against the other's will once devoured, if kazuma were to fail in getting the other shadow's mind in check then his identity would be lost. It sound dangerous, it was dangerous, but Kazuma was willing to risk it. What was weird about this was that Hetero himself did this before, "You know Hetero? How?" Honestly he didn't expect an answer, but it was worth trying. So the man who he once called master went through this, and failed. This just strengthen the fact this was dangerous stuff, but Kazuma was confident taht he ill succed. The Black Knight immediately walked over to Megumi and her shadow once it was time to dig in. The shadow girl was more than willing to allow Kazuma to eat her, less resistance the better. Kazuma grabbed the shadow by it's shoulders with a tightened grip, he knew that this was going to get messy. He opened his monsterous mouth; letting out a low vicious roar Kazuma went in and chomped down on the girl's head. Even if the shadow was willing her arms and legs were twitching around as a reaction to Kazuma devouring her. He wasn't letting up either, Kazuma was munching her down with haste. Megumi would be dramatize seeing her shadow being consumed in such a way, it made Kazuma looked worse than animal, he had the nature of a monster. The arms and legs stopped moving once Kazuma was nearly done. They quickly began to move upwards to his mouth after each bite, and finally there was nothing left. Already Kazuma was feeling the affects of the shadow's consciusness trying to mess with Kazuma's sense of self. He wasn't going to let this shadow of a feeble girl get the better of him, he was Kazuma Kokoro dammit! Nothing will get in his way from Achieving his goal, especially this shadow. He began to feel the power of the shadow flow within him, and the consciouness of that shadow fade away. He had done it, the Shadow was gone; not before leaving Kazuma with its power. It felt great, the shadows powers combining with his. He succeed in something that even Hetero couldn't. With this power he felt like he would be able to fulfill his goal. Now then it was time to take care of the girl, she didn't deserve anything spectacular so Kazuma decided to end it quick by impaling her claws into her neck for a instant Kill.
Taking his claws out of the girl's throat the Black Knight walked away while the girl fell to the ground. He went over to face Simon. "Clearly, your not full of s**t.." said Kazuma sounding satisfied through this ordeal. Quickly the man bowed towards man. "I have no problem in following you."

Kazuma Koroko I wonder if it’s w e a k to let you know when I’m feeling “sad” After that bout with that pyro freak of a woman, Ray, Kazuma was now back in his new home which was the Tower of Demise Tartarus. It was indeed great to have this place as his home, his powers were being increased as he set foot in the place. He needed that boast of power for his injuries were now taking hold. After he took nine steps within the tower the blond collapsed to the ground in pain. His body was just screaming with agony from the burn. To think that he managed to hold his shadow form for this long, he thought he was going to drop dead right there when that one guy showed up out of no where. The fabric to his clothing had holes burned into them. His flesh were mutilated by the flames from that witch. The worse part was the wound to the eye socket; that fire drill thing went right in it burning whatever was inside hsi socket and around his eye leaving a nasty burn scar across his face. Kazuma figured he was going to change his name to that American comic villain, Two-Face than the Black Knight. It was odd that he was able to make some humor at a time like this. Kazuma began to heal himself with Media. And with the tower's power increase the healing process was going rather quickly. His skin was now changing back to what it was minus a few burned scars, but his face no matter what will forever have the scar that Ray gave him. As the healing process went on Kazuma couldn't get the thought of Ray out of his head. That woman was no ordinary person, that was for sure; her skills were impressive. If she was on this team Simon's goals will be met good haste which means Kazuma's goals would be met as well. He might even try to convince her to come with to the side of Simon if his master would like that. However, if she wouldn't Ray would be considered as a major threat that must be eliminated. And Kazuma will eleminate those who shows to be a threat to Simon. Once he believed that he healed enough Kazuma took out the spoil of war, the harmonica. He remembered Ray playing this earlier before he blasted her with a bolt of lightning. She was fairly good at it too he must admit, even if he had to cut it short. Placing the instrument to his lips Kazuma began to blow into it making a god awful sound. It looks harder than expected, but Kazuma was more of a bass player. Even so Kazuma tried once again out of his stubborn attitude. . Would it be alright to r e v e a l when I’m “suffering?”

Kazuma Koroko I wonder if it’s w e a k to let you know when I’m feeling “sad” After a never ending series of trying to play that damn harmonica Kazuma just placed it back into his pocket in irritation. He never felt such an uneasy fustration towards a nonliving thing. He settled down soon after though, it wasn't like he was a prodigy at playing music; these things just take time. Moving onto more important things Kazuma saw that his clothing were destroyed. You could even see his boxers with one of the holes burned into his pants. THis wasn't good, he really liked these clothings too, but they had their last moments in the battle with Ray. So now it was time to find some new clothes; he was going to see if Simon would give him some, but he figured Simon didn't have some sort of metro clothing beam like Piccolo. So instead he had to go with Plan B in order to find some new clothing, and plan B was to raid a Junes store. It was evening so people should be either flooding the place, or at the very least in their beds resting for the night. A bit risky, but Kazuma decided to take his chances. So he left his base once more to enter the real world in search of clothes. . Would it be alright to r e v e a l when I’m “suffering?”

Faustus Necromonium, the Trappish Junior and Kusuri Keiraku, the violent JuniorFaust had followed the group slowly, grateful that Yukiko was around to heal everyone up, and his body felt a little less numb than before. He gripped the Chakram he'd brought, feeling uneasy as he looked up at the large, green tower. He hadn't seen the midnight channel, but it just provoked such an.....uneasy feeling inside him. What was waiting for them inside the large green building? Did he really want to find out? Kusuri herself felt better, though her body still ached a bit form her fight with Kazuma. She still had a long ways to go, she had to get stronger. And as they approached the tower, she had a feeling she would be getting plenty of chances with that. Her Powersoul glove on her hand almost felt anxious, as she longed to fight a little more, the fight with Kazuma, however draining it was, firing her up a bit. The timing at which they came there though was just so strange though......It was dark out, time felt like it stood still, and they'd gotten in without too many problems. She just wondered...What the hell were they about to deal with? More fights? shadows? Or more persona users? Either way, she was ready.

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader and Rise Kujikawa, Investigation Team Idol There were no words to describe the sight that lay before their eyes as they wove their way through the scaffolding and set foot upon solid ground again, like a spike of sickly emerald shooting into the sky so far above their heads that even at a distance it seemed like it would go on forever. Still, it was nothing like any tower that existed in the real world, a twisted abomination of architecture that lurched in different places and stuck out like mounted rubble here and there, like broken halves of buildings in one spot and a mass of living flesh in others, it was hard to tell where the walls of the place began and just where exactly one would climb through it. And all around it there was this ominous presence, a thick and oppressive feeling that weighed on the mind and body like the air itself was telling you to go away, threatening to drain your very life from your body if you didn't vacate the area. It was in his throat as well, the closer he came, filling his lungs, trying to make it even harder for him to breathe than it was in the fog. He flashed with blue power for a moment as he drew closer and closer, falling under the great shadow of the place, his inner strength repelling as much of the negative affect as it could, but even his persona couldn't entirely adapt to an environment such as this. ...But more than that, more than all the wretched feelings that each and every soul who wandered too closely to the Tower was the strange feeling inside of his head, like a tiny voice whispering his name and taunting him, a sense of nameless foreboding about this place that even the descriptions of Minato hadn't mentioned. So, this was Tartarus...the Tower of Demise and the point to which Death itself was fated to descend when the world had reached its breaking point and cried out for her in despair. Were they coming close to that point now, with all the promises that Simon whispered into the night? Was that...mass of twisted shadow, that cacophonous laughter some device of the Maternal Being declaring itself present? Wasn't it too soon? They hadn't even encountered the shadows! His mind was racing still, even when they had come before the very gate of the Tower, a cruel mimicry of the Gekkoukan Gate before which it had once stood...he raised his hand and pressed the steel shape out of their way and it swung open with a metallic creak, opening the path towards the blue, glowing doors of the tower which loomed in front of them.
He didn't stop to admire them, knowing that just looking upon the intimidating figure of the tower might be enough to shake their spirits if they weren't set inside their minds. Soji threw open the doors of the Dark Tower and set foot upon the tiled floors of the lobby where Minato and his own team had set foot more than two years earlier...where their journey towards the final battle with Nyx had begun. Was this to be a new beginning to some treacherous, black journey for them as well? He hoped not...they had all done too much already, fought too hard, lost too much to endure another mystery such as the case last year and their war against Hetero. To scale all of the levels of this Tower and face the hardships that stood before them...even with all his confidence and new power, would it be enough to avail them? He could see it in the faces of his friends as he turned around from the stairs and looked upon them, the weariness of Faust and Kusuri, the exhaustion of Amelia, and the broken-heartedness of Minori, his own adopted 'sister' in the looming dark before them. Were they really ready for this? Did they even have a choice?
"Rise, can you scan what's above us? I want to know if there are any surprises," he asked and she nodded in response after shaking herself out of the awestricken daze that the very sight and ominous feel of the place had put upon her...it was during her scan that the silver-haired leader of the Investigation Team turned to the rest of his team with a look that was both confident and sympathetic, though it was devoid of any pity that might have galled their own determination. "Listen...this is Tartarus. The tower that Minato from SEES told me about," he began to brief them, reviving in their memories that which he had told them before when he recalled what he had learned from his predecessor as the Fool, his predecessor in the Velvet Room...he waited for recognition to dawn in their eyes, but even in those that it did not he continued, ready to set the stage for the next run in their ever-growing journey, "In the floors overhead, there are shadows...this place is like a nest for them. Their true purposes is to rise to the top of the tower when Nyx approaches and combine with her, to bring death to the world. That's why...if there's something happening with the shadows here, we have to stop it. With all our strength, we have to climb to the top of this place eventually. So follow me, if you can...just a little while longer. I have a feeling if we get to the end of this thing, we might finally be able to put an end to all this...once and for all." His determination was steel inside of his clouded eyes, and as his words grew more certain, more comforting, his own power seemed to emanate from his body and blanket them as a reminder of just how much he was capable of when they were fighting alongside him. Through countless battles they had walked together they had never wavered or faltered...together, they could reach the top of this place, the same as always. No matter how weak or weary they became, he wouldn't let them down...
"That...that can't be right!" the high-pitched voice of the Investigation Team's idol suddenly broke the silence, stunned and obviously a bit disturbed by something that she had seen in her scan, and when the power around her seemed to kick up even more, her eyes and ears straining inside of her sheath of a persona, her confounded expression only grew more and more uncertain. Finally, the persona returned into the corners of her mind as, in an expression that Soji couldn't quite place, she turned to look at the team with wide, amber eyes and a confused downward curl to her lips. "Senpai, you said this place was a next of shadows, right?" she asked, earning a nod from him as she recalled what he had just told them...but the look on her face said that something different had been seen, something unexpected...was it a new enemy? Something different? The Arcana Shadows themselves, or...? "Well I checked the floors above them...a lot of them, as far as my persona could see..." Rise began again, bewilderment plain in upon the face that had sold millions of cans of Quelorie Magic, "...and there's nothing there. Nothing, Senpai!"
"Nothing...?!" his eyes were wide and confused...but hadn't Minato told them...?
"Without a doubt, Senpai. Kanzeon's functioning fine and everything through 50 floors is as clear to her as if I were seeing with my own eyes! There's nothing there. Not a single shadow or road block or...or...anything!" She was stunned into silence after that, and Soji couldn't blame her...something was definitely wrong here. Something must have done this, but...from what Minato said, even if you killed the shadows they would eventually reform and populate the halls again, so it was impossible to completely clear out the different levels of Tartarus unless you eliminated the tower itself. And yet...here they were. He thought for a moment that Rise must have been wrong, but there was a certainty in her voice that made him certain that wasn't the case. She had definitely seen it...but then, what did it all mean? Was this meant to be some sort of an invitation, or...an ominous warning or...? It was with that thought in mind that he remembered something else that he had been told, though not by Minato...this was part of the story that had been heard from Mitsuru when Naoto had been gathering information from her a long time ago, when SEES had first become aware of the Investigation Team and vice-versa through Riika Arakawa. Eyes suddenly flashing to the right and the far side of the lobby, he could see on that side a strange device...but what it was he wasn't certain. Nearby he had hoped to see a Velvet door, a familiar sight that Minato had told him about...but there was nothing. What he was really searching for was on the left, though, and as he turned he could see the pale green light now that he was looking for it, shimmering in the dim lobby and beckoning him over. Without thinking, he felt his feet carrying him over in the general direction of the elevator-looking object, until he stood before it with a look of bewilderment on it.
His fingers stretched out and touched it, and as he did he could feel it springing to life again, rickety but certain. Glancing over his shoulder, he motioned for the team to join him at the side of the strange device.
"This is...an elevator. It will take us close to the top of the Tower, I think," he spoke to them, though it was as much to himself as anybody, "...the shadows on the television were fleeing from something, but they weren't going down. Which means...it's possible that they were going up instead. Towards the top..." His voice dropped an octave, hushed and serious as he whispered mostly to himself. "To Nyx..."
His heart sank a bit inside of his chest at the very name. Though many days had passed since that night inside the Velvet Room, when Minato had whispered into his ear the fate that awaited the Fool at the end of his journey, he had never forgotten, never completely been able to escape the ominous cloud which lingered over him. Even the defeat of Hetero and his waking up a month later hadn't relieved him of it, which was why he knew still in his heart that the day would come. And now it seemed as though it were staring him in the eye as they spoke here, at the bottom of the fated place. Was this the hour where he fulfilled his duty, his pledge to protect everyone in the end? ...He hadn't expected it so soon. He wasn't sure that he was ready to say goodbye...
But here, at the end of it all, he knew what his answer would be...what it had always been.
It was time to live up to that promise and do what he was meant to do.
"Let's do this like always..." his voice filled the void between them with a deeper, most resolved steel than ever...or was that resignation?
And then, placing his hand upon the elevator again, they were all transported alongside him to the crystalline floors and shimmering white pillars of the 265th Floor of the Tower of Demise. The Level where, long ago, SEES had looked up the shimmering stairs towards the would-be Messiah Takaya in preparation for their final confrontation. One last step before they took the plunge and fought against destiny itself. And there, standing before the Investigation Team in echo of that day, was another gateway challenge to the top of the Tower.
Juxtaposed against one another were the two darkest forces in the Television World. On one side stood Raiden, Yoshizo, and Agito...the black remnants of the Messengers raised up out of the wreckage of the Data Dungeon World...and on the other were the Messiahs themselves, sans Simon, who had fashioned themselves the superiors of their formerly-defeated enemies.
"...We don't have time for this..." the Senior thought aloud, cursing their luck under his breath, ...but we can't avoid this fight, either. The only way to get some of us through to the top is to split up and stall them by drawing their attention from the rest of us, but...how?"
He muttered calmly, though the real question standing before them wasn't how they would get past, but rather...who was going to stay behind and brave this trial of Messengers and Messiahs...which amongst them would be the bait? Quote: The Investigation Team must now split their forces and engage in two separate quests! One team will move forwards to the final confrontation between Simon and Orochi-Hetero atop Tartarus, and the other team will remain behind and distract the Messengers and Messiahs, preventing them from following the others.
The team will split up into two teams of 8, with Soji and Rise leading the team to the top and Yosuke and Teddie leading the team that stays behind.
You must choose...do you engage in the Black Melee or progress to face the top of Tartarus?
- Guard the rear and delay the Messengers and Messiahs. - Proceed with Soji to the Final Battle. - Retreat?

Dan Sekohara Only a couple of moments after the silverette appeared atop the tower, stepping out of the elevator so too did the white haired hero Dan Sekohara. He stood tall, his body renewed by Yukiko's magic. His mind was still burdened by the darkness of this place but it was neither the time, nor the place to doubt one's self. As he stepped behind his leader Dan pulled his large heavy hammer off of his back and swung it infront of him so that the heavy end of the hilt rested firmly in his palm. "Soji..." His voice trailed off staring straight ahead at the impending battle that laid between the I Team and the final encounter. "Soji, no matter what I'm getting you off this tower tonight." He gave his leader a small nod of trust before turning his attention to the storm that was brewing not so far ahead. This was going to be the hardest he had ever fought in his entire life. "I will hold them off while you and the A team go ahead alright." Dan waited, hammer in hand for the rest of the team to arrive atop the tower. If this was where they should do, so be it.

Faustus Necromonium, the Trappish Junior and Kusuri Keiraku, the violent JuniorAs the two had followed along, going up the tower in the elevator and encountering their foes, noticing as Dan was offering to stay back. Faust paused, but nodded, starting to head with him before a hand moved to stop him.Kusuri's arm held Faust back, as she pushed him towards Souji. "You go with them." she called, sternly. "I..I'll stay back to help hold them off."
As if to show her confidence, she removed the remnants of her shirt, having brought the armor with her. Sure, it wasn't quite the best covering she could have, but it allowed her to fight a little better. And at the moment, they needed all the help they could get. "Don't die on me now." she called back, the green haired boy nodding.Faust paused, but nodded, fingering the things he'd brought with him. "Don't even think about it yourself, Kusuri." he stated, as he followed behind Souji, lightly. "Lead the way Senpai."Quote: Faust has decided to go with Souji Kusuri has decided to stay behind.

The crimson eye of the Gray Fox armor was unmoving, unblinking. It's crimson sight centered perfectly on Teros. He was a traitor to the great master hetero's machinations. Raiden had told him of the people he once called toads: Kazuma, Teros, those who abandoned the great lord Orochi-Hetero's will were to be given death as their punishment. The armored warrior reached to his side and unsheathed his katana. His blade had been reforged from the shadows just as his body had. Like the new body however the reforged blade was capable of so much more than the old one had been. The metal covered hand clenched down on the hilt as the high frequency katana began to heat up. The blade's nearly invisible movement was starting to heat the metal to an insane degree. Soon the weapon would be carving through the armor, skin, and bones of the traitors. While the high-pitched whirring began in the katana another sound became audible. It was the sound of the wrist mounted energy cannon powering up on his other arm. The broken blade of the messengers had been truly reforged in the fires of hate, but would his steely determination be enough to slice through his enemies? Yoshizo would soon fall upon his blade before returning to his master a failure again.

  The Wicked One, Vamp
"Siiiiiiiiiiiiimmmooooon! Your judgment is at hand! Come down here and die with these miserable traitors!" Raiden's voice was accompanied by lightening arcs that smashed around the room, filling the room with a tangible hatred that caused foundations to shutter. Blades clashed as Raiden's knife met Vamp's own, crisscrossing time and again as the two matched every step of the way too fast for most eyes to keep up with. A fist rocketed out to catch the jaw of the Messiah, who's arm shot up to send a knife clean through the arm; in retaliation Raiden through a forward kick just as a knife emerged from the heel of his boot, stabbing directly into the enemy's chest and knocking him away as Vamp rotated to reduce the effects of the knockback force, crouching as he finally came to a standstill. The leader of the Messengers in Hetero's absence, and for that matter the leader as far as Soji knew at the moment, was transformed from what he may have once remembered; stronger, his armor less smooth and more rigid and powerful than it once was, and everywhere danced small bolts of blue lightening as a sign of the warrior that he'd left in his wake. Even Vamp, that Vamp that had stood before the Investigation Team and commanded the other Messiahs Teros and Kazuma to retreat during that time with such confidence now stood with more than a few wounds, quickly sealing, but never the less with his pace taken away as the two now stood at equal odds on the floor before the Investigation Team. Vamp raised a hand to his chest, and suddenly pushed on the knife Raiden had deeply embedded in his stomach, forcing it out of his back as it slowly began to heal, licking the blade to remove the blood that could have caused it to rust. "Snake, it's my turn to protect you." Raiden Vamp smirked, and suddenly jumped back, feet touching the wall and latching on as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Suddenly two blurs crossed the room, blue lightening and olive drab as the ringing of numerous clashes of metal filled the air, each landing back where they were after the seconds passed. White blood splattered across the ground to the side of Vamp as he flicked his knife to the side, a victory claimed from the new slash wound across Raiden's shoulder. For his part, Vamp smirked, raising his hand to his chest...and gripping tightly the handle of the third knife in his chest, pulling it out. The other two fell out seconds later as his body continued to mend, and the shirtless, haughty man let out a chuckle at the struggle taking place. "This should be interesting. Could you be the one to finally kill me?" Vamp mocked, hand slowly sliding down his chest. Then, it snatched to the side, drew from the belt around his thigh three knives and threw them quickly at Raiden, who in a flash reflected the blades with his newly drawn katana, charging towards Vamp again as the two met in the center with another explosion of energy."I'll put you out of your misery once and for all." Raiden shouted, giving up on the 'fair play' they had agreed to and finally relying on his sword, a weapon that gave him a decisive edge over his opponent. Blades clashed for a moment, one knife caught him in the side as Vamp used the blade in his other hand to stop Raiden's sword, but the lightening covered Messenger didn't stop as he stomped down, crushing his opponent's foot suddenly, causing the weight behind his defense to crumble right before Raiden smashed his head downwards, delivering a headbutt that caused an audible cracking sound to the vice-captain of the Messiahs, blood flying everywhere. Vamp stumbled backwards again, but this time didn't wait to recover as he crouched low, swept his leg towards Raiden's own, but when foot met metal nothing gave, Raiden's body too thick for such a simple move. Instead, the metallic boot of the Messenger came down towards the knee of his opponent, intending to stomp him again just as Vamp drew his leg away, spinning again as he used his hands for the pivot and began spinning in a hand stand, delivering a few quick strikes to Raiden's face before cartwheeling away and back to his feet. "You're all going to die right here!" Raiden shouted, raising his hand as blue lightening suddenly danced and crashed around the room, shooting through Vamp and causing his entire midsection where it struck to distort and light up like a Christmas Tree for a moment as if a hole had just been blown through him, before it began to subside, his opponent still intact. The barrage clattered all around the room, blowing the floor of Tartarus right out of the ground merely a few inches behind Faust as he attempted to run through, uncontrolled arches tearing long lanes of rage through the room and passing just before Dan and Kusuri's feet, both narrowly escaping the painful and heavy assault that continued barraging the room. The Romanian looking man coughed, his entire leaning backwards as his legs continued to nearly give, his torso falling back until his head was mere inches from cracking open against the floor, something that wouldn't have been worse than Raiden's previous blow to his skull. Then, like always the Messiah stopped, and heaved upwards again, regaining his footing as his body began to slowly mend, despite the vicious blow that it had been dealt once again. "You're pretty good." Vamp said, letting out another heart-chilling chuckle...if Raiden was affected at all his face didn't show it, but the thought that maybe, even for this terror who had fought Soji to a standstill this man was too much of a threat, could likely send chills down the spine of anyone else in the room who was cursed to fight him...

Rednal Ak'ThiasForward.Rednal winced as a single word shot through his mind like a red-hot spike as he felt a sudden surge of displeasure from his Persona. It wasn't directed towards him, however, but towards the top of the tower, high above. Maybe that wasn't so surprising, though. Yidhra was his... and he was also hers, and his Persona had shown herself to be surprisingly fierce when it came to ideas of territory. Those who threatened her companion, well... her goal was usually to rip them apart. Carefully, however, Rednal nudged her madness-tinged thoughts back down and focused. Skill evaluation... possible outcomes... right. Chances were, whatever was up at the top was going to be worse than what was down here, meaning it would be most dangerous to go on ahead. They'd be in serious trouble if their retreat broke, but it wasn't like he could guarantee anything, and if he had to take care of something, better to hold back the biggest threat. At the very least, Yidhra's mere presence could help weaken the enemy, and he might find a way to be useful outside of that. "I'll go with you, Soji." he said, to a surge of approval from his Persona that almost overwhelmed his mind. Quote: Rednal has chosen to follow Soji to the Final Battle!

Amelia M. Heartilly + Chie SatonakaThey made it back huh? And going to this kind of place, well Chie couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. And with that thing that popped up on the midnight channel, it was only making the area just that much more creepy. The only thing is... just.. what was this place? Chie's brown eyes looked about as she stood next to Yukiko, rubbing at her own shoulders. "H-hey," she said nervously, as if some sort of bad vibe started to rub off on her just by looking at the place they were just about to enter. "Isn't this the place that appeared on the Midnight Channel?" She looked over at the others then back at the tower. "So whatever...that thing is... it's in there? Well..." she grinned some, but was still trying to cover up that bit of nervousness behind that mask of optimism. "...it can't be that bad! I'm sure once we find out, it's probably something not all that crazy...." Chie laughed lightly, but then paused, her head lowering some as the sound of her laughter started to fade away into some silence. COme on, who was she kidding? With the shadows that were going nuts like that, there had to be something really bad in there that got them to act like that. Suddenly, to try and take a hold of her own nerves, Chie took a hold of her shoulder and started to move her arm in a circular motion, readying herself. "Well, whatever's there, we'll be ready for it right?" there was that enthusiasm, but no doubt was she still feeling that unsettling feeling in her stomach when the flash of the Midnight Channel came into mind. Amelia exhaled a breath and rubbed her thumb against the jewel of the bangle before she tightened her grip on her weapon. This place... this was where that ominous feeling came from? Rise couldn't be wrong, not when she noticed that bit of a cold horror that glazed her eyes for a moment, and it looked like Chie and Kusuri were feeling a bit of a chill form it herself. But, despite that, they were ready. Like the thoughts of Minori, she too was feeling that unease of this whole thing just being never ending. And like Minori, Amelia will try her best to stay by her comrades and friends. Lending them her power, and sure enough, with them together, everything will be fine. Everything... will be as it was. In fact.. thinking about it, she was never, ever around for the Inaba that wasn't surrounded by shadows. She wasn't here for the Inaba at its golden prime of being cleansed and pure. Well... perhaps if this was all over, she'll truly be able to take in the truth face that is this rural town... After all, the shadows and chaos wasn't going to be rid itself. Some has to do it, right? SHe looked over towards Chie, Yukiko, Minori... everyone. And seeing her leader, Soji, with that determination, that was enough for her to hold on. Amelia adjusted her glasses for a moment, collecting herself and nodded. Ready. So the team went on.. Soji taking in the area that surrounded them all, towering over them like a black cloud of pure bad news. This whole thing, all in itself was bad news. Chie and Amelia were already feeling themselves being pushed back the closer they had gotten. Chie grimaced some when the unease started to resurface, and Amelia was clenching her teeth and trying hard to keep her strength about her, to prepare for what it is to come. But... were they ready? After the chaos and fear of the Midnight Channel, were they all truly ready for what was waiting for the Investigation Team inside the tower? Amelia exhaled a soft breath, as Soji opened the gates and they all started to advance, the girl keeping her eyes onto the doors before a movement caught her eyes, her leader looking at them all and taking in their current state before he went over to the pigtailed red-head. Tartarus? Minato... right. Chie folded her lips inside of her mouth, straining her eyes to e ready and take in whatever information that Soji will give them. Of course nothing could really prepare her for the information about the one named Nyx. "Death...!?" No, don't panic now, Chie. Things will be alright! They can do this... right? They had to. But man was this whole deal just way out of her league in seriousness. Whatever's going on in there... "Right!" The brown-haired girl nodded in confidence, feeling that strength coming back into her fists once again. Amelia wasn't feeling all that wonderful about the news, of course. But what can they do? The have to stop whatever was in there. The rich girl nodded to Soji as well, making sure that this time she'll be of a better use to him in battle. With them all they-- Rise's voice suddenly broke in, Amelia's eyes shifting over towards her with surprise and a sinking feeling going in. What.. could be going wrong now?! "What's up, Rise-chan?" Chie asked with concern, taking one step forward. Amelia stared over at Rise, seeing the intense confusion on her face and soon the questions were answered. "..Nothing?" There was nothing about? ... Well then, so things were looking a little more unsettling than usual. But they had no choice. The team were continuing on and so Soji seemed to have found what looked like an elevator that could take them to the top floors. Enemies were coming. The writer decided to rage quit in details at this point. "I'll be joining them." Chie suddenly said, running forward and gave off a wide grin. "You go on ahead!"Amelia watched as some of the members were deciding to go on and fight against the messengers. She bit her lip some but then cursed under her breath and soon turned over towards the leader. "Go!" she said suddenly, unsheathing her sword. "Take care of him, Kujikawa!" This was.. the least she could do. Quote: Chie and Amelia have chosen to guard the rear and delay the Messengers and Messiahs!

"Lets go partner!!" "And that senpai you were sweet on? Her death was the perfect excuse!" "Don't worry about us, we've got things here Partner!" Yosuke said as he stood at the head of the group, his usual jovial expression replaced with the seriousness that Konishi-senpai's death had given him. He wasn't sure he could keep up with Soji like he use to, but that didn't change the fact that he wasn't going to be left behind by his partner no matter how serious things got. He'd obtained this power because he wanted to act like a hero, and the price he had paid was too high; that was why he was going to make sure he put it to damn good use. The brown haired Senior turned to look at those following him, and motioned with one of his hands to those who planned to stay behind to fall in behind him, since it looked like he'd be the acting defacto leader this time around. "If we can buy you any more time, then you can put an end to this once and for all, Partner. So let's go, Susano-O!" Yosuke shouted as he gave Soji his nod farewell, spinning upwards as he cut through his card, throwing a powerful wind spell at his opponents, the Magarudyne taking no prisoners on either side of the feud. Messiah or Messenger, they'd toyed with people's too lives. And worse, to senpai's younger brother, who was already... "Guys, today you all better fight your best! I'm not letting you get away with taking away another of senpai's treasured things." Yosuke declared determinedly, aiming a specially heated glare towards the one who had been directly responsible. That such a monster was still allowed to live was unforgivable. Quote: Magarudyne: Hit All High Level Wind Damage. All Black Messengers and Black Messiahs. "Ugh...that took FOREVER!!"

"Look out, I'm gooinnnng iiiinnnn!" Zeo shouted, rushing beyond everyone else carrying something that no one would have thought possible, just as he burst into the room where all the fighting was going on. "Hey TEROS, shouldn't you be under a BRIDGE!? Here, I brought you one!!!" Zeo shouted as he threw the enormous bridge he'd just happened to bring with him at the troll. If the ridiculously large architecture wasn't enough to get the Black Messiah's notice though, then the fireball that flew behind it as Zeo punched his card and had Metal Cerberus throw out an Agilao likely would. The fireball hit the flying mixture of steel and cement and flames covered the debris, turning the attack into a double effective barrage for the stupid Messiah SUCKERS to feel the burn! Plus, even if Teros tried to blast the bridge and destroy it before it hit him, it'd send flying, flaming debris raining down on the Black Messiahs, so there was no easy way for him to get away from this assault by the roughest, toughest, manliest, pimpiest, PWNIEST thing in town! Awwwww yeeaaahhhH! "If you were half as fast as your mouth this might be a challenge!"Quote: Chucked a FREAKIN' BRIDGE covered in FLAMES (Agilao) at Teros!
