I keep having these nightmares..... They scare me to death, and they just keep repeating over and over again..... They all involve me getting hurt in some way. It's driving me crazy! I dont want to go to sleep at night because I know they are waiting for me. I'm always tired though so I cant avoid sleep. I don't know what to do..... I've tried talking to my friends about it, but they cant really do anything to help. I am not willing to talk to a 'professional' about it because it would definatly make me look crazy. No one should have nightmares like this. Any advice?

I agree with the above post. It's not necessarily crazy. I have them all the time, don't worry. I just haven't been able to go to a doc because we've not much money around my house. If you or your parents have the money, you might want to seek help.

I think what helps is trying to find the cause, the roots of the problem. The reason you keep having them. And yes, seeking help of a professional would be good. They might have advice on how to make you... relaxed? So you can have a good night's sleep.

The reason have them is beacause I'm the reason my brother is dead. It's my faut so I keep seeing him and myself get killed. I have no money either.

So guilt is the root... Darlin', you must first come to terms with things. If you are unable to forgive yourself, or seek forgiveness from your brother's spirit, your nightmares will not go away. Even then, they might not completely disappear, but you will be able to sleep better. Until you are able to forgive yourself and feel that you have, in turn, been forgiven by your brother, I suggest trying to tire yourself out so that you fall into a deep, dreamless slumber. That's difficult, I know, but it is possible. Things such as teas and soothing music help a lot, too. I know guilt and nightmares are hard to rid yourself of, even a little, but with time - and the forgiveness of yourself and your brother - they will both ease.

Hey, tea keeps you awake... o.O Milk is more affective. A cup of hot cocoa, or something, if you like chocolate. x)
