So to me, this new show The Othersiders looks really fake. I think they're just coming out with this show to scare the s**t out of the younger kids.
What are your thoughts on this new show?

My thoughts are in your post. Just something to scare kids... looks like the kids in the show just want to get scared themselves. Dx

Mezo Panda My thoughts are in your post. Just something to scare kids... looks like the kids in the show just want to get scared themselves. Dx Yeah, I mean, I think they're just going to go in and say it's haunted. "OMG I HEARD FOOTSTEPS11!!! IT'S HAUNTED!". And not even try to debunk anything. Sorry, it may be for little kids. But that's so irritating how they would make a show like that. When we already have shows about Ghost Hunting. We don't need some little kids, running around like that.

Yeah. Sorry, it's not that I don't think the kids are smart... I just don't think they know what they're doing. They talk about science and finding out the truth, but honestly I don't think any Ghost Hunting show is real like that.

I dunno about fake, but it's an ingenious idea. Given that ghosthunting is usually pretty sedentary and not a whole lot goes on, it doesn't make for interesting night-time-telly. However, get a bunch of people who're bound to go into hysterics over a creaky door - that is, teenagers - and you've got drama. Drama compels folk to watch, and kaching, they get money.
All ghosthunting shows seem to exaggerate the importance of the very little "evidence" they get, since without it, it would just be folk sitting in the dark for a whole night without seeing much. As such, it's probably not the best of ideas to expect primetime mainstream TV to have much of value.

I don't watch TV anyway, so it doesn't have a really bad effect on me. I also find the truth more interesting than dramatic hysterics, but I'm in the minority for that. xD

All I know is, I'm going to watch it once. And give it a chance, but I highly doubt it's going to keep my attention. And I'll end up getting slightly irked. sweatdrop

That is how Most Haunted stays on in my opinion. Sorry for fans of show. I'm more of a host Adventures gal... But I'll give the othersiders a chance. Sometimes a show doesn't have to give evidence to be entertaining. Scariest Places on Earth was one of those shows but damn was it good.

Anything on cartoon network before adult swim starts is not worth watching and now a days even THAT is iffy. I mean I high doubt it's going to be intellectually riveting to begin with. It's just another rip off of those shows on teh sci fi channel.

And meh, true, but like I said I'll give it a chance at least. @Slasher - Yeah, that's how I see it.

Sorry I jump in but I just watched the trailer.
'Back to the club house'?! What the hell? Are they Scooby Doo and the gang or something!? xd
It looks like a group of kids have watched way too much Ghost Hunters and decided they can do that too. Do they even have any knowledge of things like lighting, plumbing etc. that could explain some of this stuff?
Also, who on earth sets up their equipment in the dark?! That's a good way to break something.
@ Maiden-Ishbal375- Scariest Places on Earth! Thank you! I thought this sort of reminded me of something but I couldn't remember the name of it.

I watched the trailer, doesn't mean I was paying that much attention to it. lawls
Maybe they wanted to break something... then blame it on the ghost!

*picks nose* Graa They look like a bunch of retards runnin' aroud thinking they can just get evidence of spirits on camera whenever they waunt. Bah they don't even take a skeptical approach to things and at worst they are totattly unprofessional. CN has fallen deep and is a going to end up a demise. Besides a show like that will most likely fail due to raitings alone.

I know, I heard them say that and was like "Did they seriously just say clubhouse? Oh wow, and what the ********? How are they going to debunk this s**t?!". They don't care, if they break something, Cartoon Network will just buy more of it. rolleyes .
