我就是你们女生最讨厌的那种人I'm the kind of guy you girls hate most.Don't go crazy and quote my post style. Quoting what I say is fine, but doing my post style is kind of nuts.
I'm posting this in a few places so I can get a wide variety of answers. I'm very interested in others opinions, but I'd be happy if this could be left in the main guild forum for a week. Anyway, please be serious because the results are critical for us.
---
So guys, my assistant and I are planning to go to Metrocon '10 and all that. We're trying to come up with a good list of very possible things for year one (for us) and beyond, so I'd like to ask a few questions!
You can just put the number and your answer (much preferred). If you can't answer a particular question, that's fine, too. Ahee~ The only rule is that for the first two, no nudity or porn titles, please. PG13 is a good rule of the thumb. Also, when asked if you'd buy something, imagine that money is not an issue.
1. Name your three favorite anime or cartoon (including movies). 2. Name your three favorite games. 3. Have you been to a convention before (particularly game and anime-related)? 4. Have you ever bought anime or game-related merchandise, official or not? 5. If you had a choice between three types of prints (4x6", 8x11", and 11x17") which would you prefer to buy. 6. In relation to question #5, how much would you expect each of the three sizes to cost? 7. Have you ever bought indy clothing? 8. If an indy retailer had a coupon, would you be more likely to purchase from them? 9. Out of this list, what would you be most likely to buy; prints, stickers, bookmarks, button pins, papercrafts, candles, pendants, and/or earrings? 10. In symbolism, what do you prefer (skulls, hearts, stuff like that)? 11. What colors do you find most attractive? 12. When you find a business card, what do you do with it? 13. In relation to #12, what if there was a piece of candy taped to the back? 14. Would you be more likely to buy from someone in more formal clothing (suit, vest, dress shirt, etc.) or in costume (flamboyant ones)? 15. Any other retail-related comments?
Also, guys, if you're on Facebook, add AtomicMassPunk. I don't use it to post anything but shop announcements and updates, so I can promise that I won't spam your page.
I hope you have fun erasing my post style, though. John Stalvern waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were demons in the base. 1. Name your three favorite anime or cartoon (including movies). Spirited Away, South Park, Family Guy. 2. Name your three favorite games. Half Life, Mass Effect, Portal. 3. In relation to question #5, how much would you expect each of the three sizes to cost? Depends on the quality. 7. Have you ever bought indy clothing? Yes. 8. If an indy retailer had a coupon, would you be more likely to purchase from them? Yes. 9. Out of this list, what would you be most likely to buy; prints, stickers, bookmarks, button pins, papercrafts, candles, pendants, and/or earrings? Pendants. 10. Any other retail-related comments? Customer/Retailer conversations can be pleasant, but don't bug us!

1. Name your three favorite anime or cartoon (including movies).
Cowboy Bebop. Samurai Jack. Spirited Away.
2. Name your three favorite games.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Armored Core 3. Blaster Master: Blasting Again.
3. Have you been to a convention before (particularly game and anime-related)?
When I lived in Orlando I regularly attended Megacon comics convention, and FX Toy Show.
4. Have you ever bought anime or game-related merchandise, official or not?
If you count Transformers, hell freaking yes. Other than that, I don't think so.
5. If you had a choice between three types of prints (4x6", 8x11", and 11x17") which would you prefer to buy.
Depends on the image and how much money I had. If it's appealing enough to get my limited bucks, I'd probably go for 11x17 though.
6. In relation to question #5, how much would you expect each of the three sizes to cost?
Hell if I know. xd
7. Have you ever bought indy clothing?
If you count ThinkGeek's Personal Soundtrack shirt, then yes.
8. If an indy retailer had a coupon, would you be more likely to purchase from them?
Probably not, but if it was something I was already planning on getting a coupon would be nifty.
9. Out of this list, what would you be most likely to buy; prints, stickers, bookmarks, button pins, papercrafts, candles, pendants, and/or earrings?
Probably the pins.
10. In symbolism, what do you prefer (skulls, hearts, stuff like that)?
I'm a Steampunk/Transformers Fan. Gimme a rusted Autobot sigil and I'd groove. But that's copyright infringement methinks.
11. What colors do you find most attractive?
Blue, green, purple. The cooler side of the spectrum.
12. When you find a business card, what do you do with it?
Pick it up if the product or service interested me. Put it into my pocket. After that, it's in the hands of fate. It might end up in my wallet after sitting next to and on top of it for weeks. It might end up in the wash.
13. In relation to #12, what if there was a piece of candy taped to the back?
Pick it up. Eat candy. Put in pocket. See #12.
14. Would you be more likely to buy from someone in more formal clothing (suit, vest, dress shirt, etc.) or in costume (flamboyant ones)?
Neither. I buy if the product appeals to me.
15. Any other retail-related comments?
None that wouldn't get me banned. It is a long hard road we tread.

5. If you had a choice between three types of prints (4x6", 8x11", and 11x17") which would you prefer to buy. It's a toss up between 8x11" and 11x17. I find with my own prints, the larger ones sell best.
6. In relation to question #5, how much would you expect each of the three sizes to cost? Keep is as inexpensive as possible while still making a profit, the economy is s**t right now.

14. Would you be more likely to buy from someone in more formal clothing (suit, vest, dress shirt, etc.) or in costume (flamboyant ones)? Neither. I would be more likely to buy from someone who is approachable. If you're dressed too stuffy or too flamboyant, you won't be approachable.
15. Any other retail-related comments? Smile... a lot... even when you're being yelled at. That's pretty much all I do at work and people love me... even the one's yelling at me. haha

Of course I would pick up a card with candy on it. 14. Would you be more likely to buy from someone in more formal clothing (suit, vest, dress shirt, etc.) or in costume (flamboyant ones)?
