Right now, I want to learn how to play the:
Chinese flute(Dizi, I think) because it can properly mimic the sounds of birds. Its soo cool! Check it out =]

Violin/Cello because they have an elegant sound that can easily touch the emotions of the people who listen to their melodies.
What do you guys want to learn next and why?

French horn. The one main brass instrument I don't play. (I'm not counting flugelhorn or cornet as regular.)

Marching Band no Jutsu French horn. The one main brass instrument I don't play. (I'm not counting flugelhorn or cornet as regular.) Gahh...I heard that french horn was a pain to play...my BD wanted me to learn it instead of trombone, but our horn player gave me a warning about how it'll eat my soul or something along those lines...lol

I currently play the trombone, but I'd really like to learn a woodwind instrument. Like the tenor sax or something. Also, I'd love to learn the cello.

I'd be happy if I even ever got to try something in the flute family other than the usual concert flute, especially the lower bass flutes (hyper, contra, subcontra, and double contra). I don't know why, but they look awesome to me.
Other than that, I'd like to play the trumpet, alto/tenor/soprano sax, tuba, oboe, or bassoon.

I would be content really learning how to play my instrument, the horn. I'm a performance major in college, but I don't think even professionals really claim they play perfectly. There's always room for improvement.
Other than that, I really would like to learn string bass. I've played it a little in my strings class, and it's amazing! It's so low, and it's huge!

Well, I play the flute. It's kind of boring for me though. ;p I'd play the snare. ;D Because I like hitting and making beats. xD

What do you guys want to learn next and why? Nice choices. I picked up on cello a few weeks after christmas. Its aggrivating, but once you get over a few things, its not too difficult. Granted I can't play incredibly fast, but its easy to have a good tone while playing. And if you want the best youtube videos of cello playing, Youtube anything will Rostropovich in it. He is thought to have the best interpretations on the Bach Cello suites. I would like to play violin, just because they have all the cool melodies, and I think playing an oboe would be pretty badass biggrin
