[ From Covington, Washington. Weighing it at 224 pounds. Kelly King 2 . 0! ]
2.0 walks out onto the stage, throwing his arms out to the people in the arena who are already booing him. He shakes his head and turns to the other side of the crowd to harrass them as well, but turns his head to the rafters and points at himself, causing a golden pyro to shoot out at either side of him, creating an interesting pulsing effect in the rain at either side of him. He spins in a circle, smirking at his own awesomeness. He walks down the ramp uneventfully and slides into the ring, pounding the mat. he runs over to the corner and taunts the crowd. He cautiously watches the stage when his music fades out.
And i'm steady but i'm starting to shake...
And I don't know how much more I can take!
"And introducing his opponent, weighing in at 245 pounds, from Fort Collins Colorado by way of Seattle Washington! He is The Innovator, Mike Landry!"
Mike strolled confidently through the curtain, holding his ill-begotten sledgehammer across his shoulders in both arms, looking 2.0 straight in the eye as he does. He throws the hammer up in the air and catches it in his right hand right before he hits the Neo Hurricane pose and his pyro erupts on the stage. After the fire dissapates the jogs down the ramp, slapping hands with his fans and even stopping to pose for a few pictures with the sledgehammer. He knew all of this was getting on 2.0's nerves and that was his plan, frantic Kelly was a sloppy Kelly. Finally he stepped up the steel steps and climbed into the ring, using the sledgehammer as a cane before finally handing it to the referee so he could stow it safely at ringside.
2.0 shook. In an unbearable rage that nearly conjured the fires of hell itself to fire out from around the ring. King started to grind his teeth together when the bell rang, the ref not bothering to check 2.0 for weapons.
Mike sniffed the air, "What smells like burning?" He shrugged and turned his attention to 2.0 when the bell rang and circled the ring with him, offering a collar elbow tie up.
2.0 rolled his shoulders in the purest anger that he could muster, and went in for the collar-elbow-step-on-Michael's-toes-before-he-has-a-chance-to-realize-what-just-happened.
Mike tripped over Kelly's feet when he leaned in for the lock up and his toes were stepped on.
2.0 went to snap in the headlock, a vice grip fueled by the anger with the INTENSITY OF ONE THOUSAND BURNING SUNS!
"Ow...ow...ow...ow..." Mike muttered in monotone under his breath as the unnecissarily tight headlock gave Mike a headache. He would grab hold of 2.0's waist and try to back him into the ropes and irish whip him off.
2.0 bounced off the ropes and came back at high speed for a shoulder block.
Mike didn't get up fast enough to set his feet and he was knocked down by the shoulder block.
2.0 ran off the ropes, and instead of being respectful and completing the classic trade-off of moves, 2.0 dropped for a low dropkick to Mike.
It was like 2.0 was channeling his anger like some kind of thing out of some kind of War movie in the Stars to become a bigger threat. At least he wasn't killing little children... yet.
Mike was prepared for the signature spot and counter but then he saw 2.0's feet coming at him and plans changed, primarilly to getting kicked in the face.
2.0 got up and went to place a knee in the middle of Mike's back and then pull up on his chin with both hands. "********!"
The modified surfboard maneuver stretched out Mike's back something fierce. It didn't seem like 2.0 had a focused blan of attack except to inflict pain, which may ironically be a benefit for Mike. He only had one counter to this move, he just hoped he was strong enough to pull it off. Mike placed both hands on the mat and pushed up as hard as he could, arching his back forward so he could try to flip 2.0 over his head.
"Wait, what the hell?" 2.0 was flipped over shortly after completing his sentence.
Mike would pounce on 2.0 but pounce on him on the mat and try to lock in the Darce Choke.
2.0 clenched his head once he tried to lock in the choke, knowing that Mike was a douche, so the hold was not effectively locked in. 2.0 struggled in the hold to put his legs within contact of the ropes.
2.0 clenched his head once he tried to lock in the choke, knowing that Mike was a douche, so the hold was not effectively locked in. 2.0 struggled in the hold to put his legs within contact of the ropes.
2.0 put his leg over the ropes just as the maneuver was placed in and muffled for Mike to Gerroffa him.
The referee admonished Mike and began the rope break count. He let go at three and backed off, holding his neck.
2.0 stood up using the ropes and coughed, sputtered. He stepped slightly away from the ropes, acting like he wasn't paying attention to Mike.
Mike shook his head and charged into 2.0 for a clothesline.
2.0 suddenly dropped his Grievous coughing act as Mike approached, aiming to drop-toe hold him onto the second rope.
Mike fell straight into it and landed with his neck getting caught up on the second rope.
"a**..." 2.0 muttered as he stood up quickly and went to kick the rope up into Mike's neck.
"Ack!" Mike was essentially kicked in the throat and fell backwards holding his neck.
2.0 jumped over Mike and bounced off the ropes, jumping up for what had become a stable in his moveset, the leaping forearm drop.
And the forearm connected as well. The crowd was on its feet booeing 2.0 for beating on the fan favorite so relentlessly.
2.0 furrowed his brow and gave the crowd a piece of his mind. "Yeah ******** you guys too!"
He walked over to the corner and dropped down low, preparing the for the Downgrader.
Mike shook his head, he had to get back into the match or else he was going to get destroyed by 2.0. Slowly he was able to make it back to his feet, unaware of the impending Downgrade.
2.0 taunted until the last moment before charging out of the corner for a gutwrenching Downgrader!
Mike's eyes widened like a deer in the headlights and did the first thing that came to mind, jump and try to roll him into a sunset flip.
2.0 didn't quite understand why he was suddenly going the other way, but he was. And he didn't realize WHY the ref was counting to 3, but he kicked out at 2 to be safe.
Mike rolled backwards out of the pin when 2.0 kicked out and tried to lay him out with a low clothesline when he sat up.
2.0 had kicked out and rolled onto his stomach. When he got to his knees, he was clotheslined, causing him to bend back akwardly on his knees!
Mike layed flat on his stomach after the imactful move, he had been getting the crap beaten out of him this whole match and he hasn't had the ability to set the pace for himself so this was his only breather. The referee began to count a double count out.
"1...2...3..."
2.0 groaned, falling out of his posistion, he rolled onto his stomach and started to stand.
Mike got his knees under him and starred hazey eyed up at the lights. He had to muster the energy to stand.
"4...5...6...7..." He grabbed the bottom rope and pulled himself up to his feet, spinning around to find 2.0.
2.0 ran like a bull out of its cage when Mike turned around, trying again to hit the Downgrader out of no where!
Mike folded up like a broken table after he was impacted by the powerful spear. He held his chest as all the air rushed out of him at once.
2.0 lay across Mike and hooked a leg, going for the pinfall.
The crowd roared with boos thinking it was over. The referee counted.
"1...2..." NO! Mike shot an arm up at the very last moment.
2.0 rolled his back onto Mike's face, trying to make it harder for him to breathe by putting all his weight on it, arguing with the referee about the count.
Mike yelled in a muffled voice as 2.0 layed across his face, "You sonofabitch!" And tried to shove Kelly off of him.
2.0 got off of Mike and pulled himself up to his feet, going for some stomps to his chest and head.
Mike buckled after every stomp to his anatomy. He tried to roll away into the ropes to find some releif.
2.0 went over to Mike and helped him up. "Are you okay? I got the liscense of that truck that speared you. Don't worry." After that he went to irish whip his friend and rival.
Mike was sent into the ropes with ease and rebounded back at 2.0...
2.0 went to put Mike out of it with the AA Spinebuster!
Up and down Mike was spiked with the AA Spinebuster.
2.0 wasted no time in trying to lock in the Twisted Flow Classic!
Mike was all too familier with this move. He struggled agianst it but it was locked on nonetheless. Mike shook his head, knowing he couldn't tap out here. He pressed his palms on the mat firmly and used all his strength to lift the two higher up, giving himself room for his next move. He would try to swing his hips so he rolled under 2.0's legs and wound up infront of him, then quickly try to hook his head and roll back under for a modified small package.
2.0 was rolled up and had a hard time kicking out due to the way Mike's legs were bent when entering the roll-up but barely managed to get out before 3!
Mike rolled off of 2.0 and hobbled to his feet, waiting for opponent to rise.
2.0 stood up fast, trying to keep his momentum with him. He went for a clothesline to Mike.
Mike ducked the clothesline and went for a stiff chop.
Wooo!
2.0 reeled in pain, his arms flailing outward.
Mike went for one more chop to back 2.0 into the ropes.
2.0 was backed into the ropes, holding his chest.
Mike would straighten out 2.0 so he could send a flurry of chops his way.
After, like, the seventh chop, 2.0 finally caught Michael's hand and threw his arm away. "STOP IT! STOP CHOPPING! ME!" He screamed, the fans quiet for just a moment. "That ******** hurts dammit!"
Mike shrugs and holds his hands up like an innocent man, "Okay, you know what? That's fair. No more chops."
2.0 hisses as he holds his chest. "Thank you... god..."
Chop.
The fans cheered insanely as 2.0 yelled in pain from the chop. "SON OF A b***h!"
Mike chuckled and shrugged his shoulders, then tried to send Kelly into the ropes with an irish whip of his own.
2.0 was whipped, coming back at Mike.
Mike would try to stop Kelly in his tracks with a spinning back kick to double him over.
2.0 doubled over.
Mike would try to hit a combination rising knee lift to the face followed by a reverse russian legsweep.
2.0 recoiled up to a standing posistion and then was plowed down by the stroke.
Mike rolled 2.0 over and hooked a leg for a pin.
2.0 kicked out at two.
Mike stood back up and stalked 2.0 from behind, pumping his arms as the crowd got behind him.
2.0 groaned as he rolled onto all fours and then started to stand.
Mike would try to irish whip him into the ropes one more time, prepping for something big when he came back...
2.0 was feeling like 1.7, considering his senseless feeling, as he came back at Mike.
Mike jumped up to try and hit his corkscrew heel kick square on 1.7's jaw!
1.7 went down hard, landing on his back. At this point, he was hoping that Mike had broken his clavicle during the move so TOTK could have a chance!
1.7 went down and Mike layed next to him after the kick and he shot up a symbol with his fingers, that looked like the rewind symbol on a remote control. Sure enough he shouted, "REWIND!" and he spun back up to his feet like he was rewinding from his spinning kick and leaped up to his feet.
Mike then went over to pull 1.7 back up to his feet, wanting to finish this match.
As 1.7 was starting to be pulled up, King leapt up to try and slap Mike across the face, and then throw him into the referee before he knew what was going on.
Mike was slapped cold in the face and stumbled backwards from the akward shove. He accidently elbowed the referee in the face on his way down.
1.7 was still on his feet when he shouted. "No more!" And dropped to the mat, rolling out of the ring. He reached under the apron to grab something, and then concealed it by resting his back against the ring apron, not facing his opponent.
Mike spent this small ammount of time trying to revive the referee, apoligzing for the accident. He began to stir slightly and Mike decided to see what 1.7 was up to. He reached through the second and top rope and tried to grab at 1.7...
As he felt the very tips of Mike's fingers in his hair, 1.7 whirled around and revealed his secret replacement weapon, in case his Sledge had ever gone missing. He tried to whip Mike across the face with a steel chain.
Mike was struck across his face by the steel chain and he stumbled backwards into the ring holding his face.
2.0 rolled into the ring and threw the chain on the mat. He would try to kick Mike in the stomach and go for his new finisher, The Hard Restart, onto the chain.
((Falling Facelock Drop))
Mike faceplanted hard on the chain and it busted him open across his forhead and knocked him senseless.
2.0, who since last post was clearly feeling like 2.0 again, threw the evidence away as the ref started to stir and The One True King was rolling Mike over for the slow pinfall from an injured ref.
"1......2......3!" It was all over, Mike stared up at the lights with a far away look in his eyes after the stiff shot on the steel.
Where's Your Crown King Nothing!
2.0 smirked as if he'd won a clean triumphant win. And as far as anyone could PROVE, he haaad! 2.0 holds up his arms and looks around a moment before spotting his prize for victory, as he reclaimed his kingly scepter of death, the sledgehammer.
Mike slowly rolled out of the ring and was assisted by the referee in standing and getting his barings straight.
