Some of these are what I imagined your character would look like as an animal, ie: Zen, Nim, Angela, Gyp. The others are my interpretation of the OC dumps info. Sorry if they're totally off!

Nim, you asked for Chee's costume. Here it is. Her knives are about thigh length. Her long-vest is supposed to be striped with black but I couldn't get it right. The pouches go all the way around the belt. There is a split in the skirt on the right but not the left. Left leg has a knife at the ankle instead of the thigh. The weird diamond things are supposed to be small blade shards she has sewn into her gloves. Yeah...fail >.<
And, yes, she has bags under her...eye because she barely ever lets herself sleep (ex-assassin (well, sort of ex) = many many enemies = not much sleep)

Cheeva, before she joined forces with the Blue Fairy (blah blah, backstory, blah blah) lived wth the monster folk and the nomadic shape-shifting clans. She was enarmored by their magic and decided to become a shape-shifter also. The shape-shifters of Guardia are like the werewolves of the original myths - in order to turn into the animal they desire, they must have the pelt of the creature. Cheeva chose a cat. The cap she wears is the stitched together hides of several different cats so she could shape-shift. She made it as a child so it always looks like it's on the verge of coming to pieces.
Her cat form comes out all cobbled together (and with an enormous fluffy white tail) because she never found enough of the same breed of cat to make one cap (you cannot use the skin of just one animal, it takes several blood sacrifices from the totem animal in question and the to-be-shape-shifter for the magic to work).
Cheeva can remove the cap but, after so long with it, she feels defenceless - well, somewhat - without it.
The cat was a good choice given her career as an assassin. It can get pretty much anywhere and other than the fact that it is a bizarre looking cat, most people wouldn't give its presence at the site of a murder a second thought.

Interesting note (spoiler because Angela likes them) most shape-shifters begin to take on characteristics of the creature they have as their totem. Eventually, for example, a bird-shifter will become a harpy like creature, unable to be fully human or bird. Cheeva, for some reason, only has cat-like instincts (like hiding up a tree XD)
