So, I bake almost every weekend. Every other weekend certainly. It's usually chocolate chip cookies, and that or anything else is usually from scratch.
A couple weeks ago, while making the dough, we discovered a package of Toll House pre-sized cookie dough (a "sheet" of 24 cookie dough cubes) in the fridge. Tonight we decided to bake them.
They were awful. Bready, and oddly textured. They were like un-fluffy pancakes!
We're picking up some mint chocolate chips at the supermarket tomorrow to make real cookies with.
