After a lot of indecisiveness over the past year, I've finally decided to be L for Otakon this year. Mostly because I'm short on cash and his outfit is very easy to prepare. All I really need is the hair and something to darken around my eyes... (More than normal at least...) Any suggestions? I've never had the need to wear makeup. >.<

Two words, darling. Black eyeliner. I know, kinda blunt and obvious, I'm not trying to sound mean, I promise. Just reapply and try to keep your hands away from your eyes. I have a friend who said that wearing mascara to bed the night before might also do something to help with the eyes. I dunno how handy you are with mascara, though. Oh, and if I find you, let's squee and share candy! (From what I can tell Hinaichigo likes sweets too.)
OH, AND ALSO. I don't know if you'd be interested, but there's evidently a Japanese band doing a show on the 16th, which is the day before the actual con/prereg-pickup-day. I probably won't go, because I'm going to go see Harry Potter at midnight on the 15th, but hey, I'm posting it in case you're interested.

Holy crap, HYDE! Sadly, I have no idea where Sonar Baltimore is... And I'm trying to save as much money as possible for Otakon... So no money for tickets. crying
Aaanyway. I have no idea how to apply make up and I constantly rub my eyes so I'm probably in trouble there. Oh well... I'll do my best... I just gotta find some eyeliner and mascara. ...I just remembered something.... o.o... L has no eyebrows.... >.>

I saw Nightwish there at the beginning of last month, and it was AMAZING, but I probably couldn't tell you where the damn venue is for the life of me, we got lost-ish trying to get there. Just keep a mirror handy and reapply often. Shouldn't be too traumatic. Also... shaving your eyes for cosplay is... a little extreme. ><;; Maybe find a foundation or something that's close to your skin tone and try to make them blend?

lol. Thanks, Ashy. Foundation? >.< I'm glad I know somebody who knows what they're talking about. >.< None of the women in my family wear makeup... Though even if I did shave off my eyebrows, they'd be back in no time... My hair grows pretty quickly. I still wouldn't want them gone completely though...
