For some reason the one story with the cross and the visions, I think from the ninth book, popped in my head and just how cool it was. And then I remembered the end of it and started laughing. Perfect example of odd and unexplained endings that Monkey Punch did oh so well in the mangas. xd

Twonk For some reason the one story with the cross and the visions, I think from the ninth book, popped in my head and just how cool it was. And then I remembered the end of it and started laughing. Perfect example of odd and unexplained endings that Monkey Punch did oh so well in the mangas. xd That's one of the things you can always excpect from Monkey Punch. Most of the time, things are not done until the very last line is said. In the third book, "Castle in the Mountains", with the one-eyed 'Patch' guy, who thinks Jigen is Lupin, it's not over until Lupin's last line about the his latest, um, "addition" to Patch's car. That chapter I'd like to see animated into an episode. I also like how zany the manga is. With Lupin's elaborate traps, and the things he get's put through. And how quickly it ends. I enjoy it, even if it is the weirdest thing I've ever read. That and Excel Saga. But, Lupin came first. wink

Okay, do you have any idea what those black furry things with feet are that just started popping up in like book 8? I stared at those things for the longest time trying to figure out what was going on. xd

That one was just wrong...Very wrong... neutral

Hey you guys I have a problem. There's this girl at my school who saw me read one of my Lupin books and snatched it away from me and kind of looked over it and called me a pervert. And after that she wouldn't let me explain it. What should I do? sweatdrop sweatdrop

Twinkie Man Hey you guys I have a problem. There's this girl at my school who saw me read one of my Lupin books and snatched it away from me and kind of looked over it and called me a pervert. And after that she wouldn't let me explain it. What should I do? sweatdrop sweatdrop Just let her be her own ignorant self. 3nodding One of my friends says they are perverted and doesn't understand how anybody could like them, but I just ignore her. I don't even know if she's even read one of them, but they aren't that perverted. I find them to be mostly odd and funny. Which book were you reading?

I was reading Vol. 1 of the new Lupin 3rd series The Worlds Most Wanted. And now she's threatning to report me and the book to the school principle. She's just completely freaking out. stressed stressed

She's just completely freaking out. stressed stressed That girl sounds like she needs some kind of adjustment...My suggestions are: -First off, I wouldn't say anything to confront her. It wouldn't help. -Second, don't let her see you read them again. (Although that's really annoying, but I'd be careful for awhile.) -Third, she took your book. That would have to come up. Besides, it's not like you were showing everybody that you could. And, the particular volume is not that bad. Don't know if this helps, but I hope it does. ^_^;;

To tell you the truth, I don't much read manga or comics.(gasp). The only manga I own is Azumanga Daioh be cause the manga reminds me of the Peanuts comics which I love and that both the manga and the anime (which I also own hehe) rule. Never read the Lupin Manga before how is it?

Thanks for the advice Twonk and Nani_Lupin she's backed down and she's just not saying anything to me anymore, so now I feel very happy and care free about her that I'm going to buy some more manga's. smile blaugh smile
