",,,Hmmm we seem to be in the right place to meet, but I don't see anybody..."Shino said looking around as he noticed no one there.
"Yeah...I don't smell anything either, how about you Akamaru?"Kiba said sniffing the air for a scent. Akamaru was sniffing as well, but shook his head.

Hinata aktivated her Beakugan and looked around. "I can't see any one," she said."Shino, send out your bugs and see if they can find any one."

Lee placed his ear on the ground, listening for any other sounds. "Could you please stay quiet for a second?" He closed his eyes consentrating.

Shino looked over at Lee then sighed and put his arms out in front of him.
His bugs shot out and went into the distance.
"...They'll come back if they find anything..."Shino said in a hush because of Lee.
"Akamaru and I will keep sniffing until we find something..."Kiba also was quiet and Akamaru barked softly in agreement.

"I hear...clanking below us. Hinata, could you look about a hundred feet below us with your Byakug-" There was a soft explostion below. The earth underneath them crumbled and cracked before it caved in. Twisted his body around so he could land without injuring himself.
"Cough, cough. Damnit, Tokogai, I told you to be carefull with the dynamite! Now look what you did. The tunnel caved in!" someone said through the smoke.
"Sorry."

Hinata looked down and activated her Beakugan to see through the smoke." Since when couldn't you smell people underground Kiba?" Hinata asked. "Our nose needs to be better than that."

Lee stood up, dusting himself off. "Excuse me, but are you from Hiwada Village?"
"Huh?" two men came out of the smoke. One was in his late fourties and strongly build. "Yeah...," he spotted Lee's Leaf headband and the others up above. "You the ninja we hired from Konoha?"
"Hai. If you don't mind me asking, why are you underground?"
The man chuckled, "Didn't your hokage tell you? We're a mining village."
"Er...no, she did not." He was a little unhappy that Tsunade failed to tell him this when she gave them the mission.

"Sorry Hinata, but I guess Akamaru and I are having an off day..."Kiba said apologizing to her. Akamaru looked down, he had failed with his nose.
"...Don't get to down, it's okay. We found them and that's what matters..."Shino said cheering Kiba up, which was rare for him to do for anybody.
"Thanks Shino..."Kiba said smiling, he seemed much better after Shino comment. "Arf! Arf!"Akamaru barked and ran over to Shino. He licked Shino's hand as a 'thank you.'
"...You are very welcome..."Shino replied as he petted Akamaru and sent him back to Kiba. He turned to the two men from the Hiwada Village. "...Pleased to meet you...I'm Shino Aburame..." He said knowing they would have to introduce themselves sooner or later.
"Kiba Inuzuka at your service! And this is Akamaru!"Kiba said following Shino's lead. "Arf! Arf!"Akamaru barked in agreement.

Lee nodded. "Errors show there is room for improvement, and with a little effort, you can easily overcome any obsticles. Gai-sensei tought me that."
"Uh, yeah, can you guys come along now? The rest of the village is waiting, and there are rougue ninja who live in this area. We gotta seal up this hole before they show up. Tokogai, round up the others and have them block this new enterance. I'll take our guests to Kenshin-chan. Oh, and I'm Rakoi."
"Roger."
"Is Kenshin your village elder or leader?" Lee asked as he climbed down from the rubble, glancing at the others to get them to follow.
Rakoi waved his hand to help clear the smoke as he walked into the tunnel. "No, he's the kid you guys are here to escort."

"..."Shino said nothing, but followed them. He was wondering about that Akatsuki member, wondering if he'd show up on this mission. Hopefully not though.
"So how old is Kenshin anyway?"Kiba asked curiously wanting to know more about the guy they were going to protect.
