 Piper's paws crossed easily over her earth. Her lands. Gomorrah... Even with all of its vices, it was still something she had worked for. Something she cherished. The moment Lilith had decided to step down from her alpha position, to pass it on to Piper, was one of the best moments of her life.
Having pups had been the second best.
She had left her three remaining children with Hurricane to go on border control. Her tail waved high like a flag as she sat down right outside Gomorrah's lines, nose testing the air. Someone was coming... And they didn't smell like they were completely alone...

 Labored breath of the black and orange wolf came out as a lone she-wolf moved across the earth. Kurosage's glowing orange eye surveyed the land that she would travel. It was hard being a lone female who didn't have any real ambitions. But now she had one. After the tryst in the night, she was with pups. She had no idea if it was just the one or if it was many but she knew that it would be best for them is they had a support. She would need to find a pack, one that would take her in and accept her and her future offspring or a pack that would at least let her take shelter for her pups to gather their bearings once she gave birth.
As Kurosage kept moving, she felt a presence, as if another was coming. Was she on a pack's lands? Could she have been so oblivious as to miss any boundary markings? Her pinched nose was able to make out some sort of scent, a wolf's... an alpha?
If it was a wolf of high stature, this would be good for Kuro. She could be relieved of some of her stress and burden over her situation. Deciding it best to try Kurosage spoke out, "H-hello? Is someone here?"
It felt bad, but Kuro's voice wavered just a bit. She was intimated. She was a lone wolf on pack lands and she was very vulnerable. She had pups to take care of.

Piper's dark eyes zeroed in on the moving black blur, her own tail rising instinctively to greet her thoughts of a loner. Now, Pip, she purred to herself, setting back her ears and sitting down in plain sight. She forced her hackles to lower, as they had spiked up sporadically.
It was a loner... A simple female. She breathed in the air, the taste smelling just like Gerda's...
Pregnant? There was a slight round of her belly, now that she looked closer. Slowly, she stood up and strode forwards with an air of confidence about her white pelt.
"Hello, stranger," she murmured softly, as not to scare the loner away. "I'm here. And so are you. Looking to join a pack?"

Kurosage's eye eyed the wolf looming closer to her. An alpha it was! Kuro examined further to realize it was a female alpha. Her ears, both the whole one and the tattered one, lowered closer to the back of her head. If her tail wasn't so low to her body before, it would've gone lower.
She could only was as the white pelted alpha approached her. She inclined her head, to show some submission and spoke "Hello, alpha. As a matter of fact, I am. Through some happenings I don't quite remember I'm with pups as a wolf without a pack. With pups, I would like for them to be... secure. Is there any place in your pack for a lone she-wolf with pups?"

Piper stared a hole in the she-wolf, listening to her words. She needed a pack... A home to call home before her babies joined this world.
"You are looking for safety among my ranks?" she queried quietly. She could perhaps use another hunter, after the children were born. "What are your skills and how will they be useful to my pack?"

Kurosage thought of her abilities. Having had to survive alone, she had come into a small variety of talents. Hunting, tracking, scouting... even with the one eye.
Kuro gazed into the white pelted alpha's eyes, "Well I've become quite a good hunter and I've been able to develop some good tracking skills. I'm sure that I could be a hunter, or a scout even."

"We could use another huntress." Piper was rather pleased with herself once the stranger spoke again, highly of herself. So she wasn't a wolf who might've been a pushover. She was a wolf who could hold her own.
"I am Piper and this is Gomorrah." Her tail wagged briefly. "Let me show you into the lands, to see if you like what you see." She took off across the grounds, not looking behind her to see if she was following.
She took her through the small area of dens, frowning as she saw her mother. The white wolf with the gray serpents winding along her side looked over at them, lowering her ears. "That would be Gerda. She just recently had a litter of her own. These are the dens, where I would prefer you have the children."

Kurosage followed the white pelted she-wolf alpha who identified herself as Piper. So the pack was Gomorrah? She flicked her beat up ear forwards and backwards and wagged her tail a bit.
"My name is Kurosage." Kuro surveyed the pack lands and watched the white white wolf Piper called Gerda. She had a litter herself? The dens looked nice, perfect for the pups.
"I would be fine with that. I thank you for allowing me here, Piper." Kuro inclined her head again.

Kurosage... Such a warrior's name, she thought. She smirked a little, passing Gerda with no more than a glance towards the two blue-marked puppies tagging at her side. No one would ever guess that they were her half-brothers... The pup with the serpent-marked face peered out from behind Gerda, watching them with two-toned eyes. Uncertain eyes.
Piper stopped right outside a den, tossing her head in that direction. "This is where you would stay until the puppies are weaned. However, you are free to go anywhere within our lands. The dunes are a nice place." She glanced over at the loner once more. "And you are free to come and go as you please. All I ask is that once your pups are old enough, you join us on pack hunts." And perhaps she'd have the new wolf go spying as well. She wouldn't visit Rumor herself, but surely a wolf such as Kurosage's self could report back to her how her daughter was faring in ROT.

Kurosage eyed the two pups of Gerda's litter and looked at the inside of the den. So this is where she would raise her pups until they were ready.
"I'm sure I would love to go to these dunes you speak of." Kuro met the alpha's eyes once more. "When the pups are born, I would be glad to be of use to Gomarrah."

She kept one eye on the dark wolfess, one eye on her mother as she sat down. She nodded briskly, mind flitting to the dunes. That was where her father had often stayed, far away from the rest of the pack like the loner he was. It brought a smile to her lips. "Of course. Make yourself at home. If you need anything, Gerda will be happy to help you."
She rose to her paws once again, turning back away. "Now if you don't mind, I've a pack border to return to. I should hope you'll enjoy it here..." She shot her a smirk, then quickly padded off before the she-wolf could ask anything else of her.

Kuro smirked as the alpha left her. Time to get settled in. She looked at the den and decided now was as good a time as any to start getting herself acquainted with the pack. Might as well start with the one who'd given birth recently, Gerda right? Piper mentioned she'd help Kuro.
She padded forward across the earth, closer to the den and Gerda and her litter. "Hello, my name is Kurosage and I'm new to the pack. I'm with pups..."

 Gerda watched her daughter and the newcomer carefully, body poised, uncertain. She wasn't one to like new wolves, but she wasn't going to just ignore a girl in need. Especially not a girl with babies on the way. Her white tail wagged and she sat down beside the pup with a black and blue pelt, serpents across his side and face. She looked down at him pointedly, then over in the direction of the dunes. That was where the she-wolf wanted to go, correct? Novi watched the newcomer from the safety behind his mother's legs. His two-tone eyes glittered uncertainly. There was a...chain...hanging from this stranger's nose! How peculiar! He moved forwards, wagging his tail. "H-Hello," he began, looking dolefully up at the soon-to-be-mother. "I'm Novik. This is my momma, Gerda. She doesn't talk. But she'd like you to know that she'll be here for you if you need her. If you need us." Gerda gave a vivacious nod, hopping to her feet and striding away. She looked back over her shoulder and gave a silent huff to the newcomer to Gomorrah. To follow. Her tail wagged and she headed to the dunes with Kurosage and Novik in tow.[FIN]
