Well, is there no way they could swap jobs/hours? I don't know how it is where she works, but at my husband's job people are always begging to swap hours with one-another.

It's not that easy where she works, because management is a bunch of idiots and it would take them weeks to get the paperwork done, and they'd probably mess something up along the way.
(and it's probably not allowed - they have ALOT of stupid rules)
