A United States Air Force Base located in Tokyo, Japan, and is a detached branch of the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF). It houses over 14,000 people, including civilian and military personnel. Its land area, about 136,413 square meters, is large enough to accommodate planes that arrive from different parts of the world. Stationed in this air base are an arsenal of the United States' most advanced military assault and reconnaissance planes and is always ready to respond to any threat, both in and out of the country.

The night was dark, cold, and restless. The spring night wind blew gently across the faces of the numerous guards stationed around the facility, alert and with their guns at the ready to respond to whatever threat that came. All of a sudden, a loud, mechanical humming noise filled the air and as a black helicopter, as black as the night sky, whizzed past the eyes of the guards on the ground. There was nothing unusual in the helicopter's appearance, only that it had an emblem on the right portion of its tail wing. The emblem of the Ravens Organization.
Landing on a nearby helipad, the doors of the chopper opened wide, revealing a young man inside it -- Xeion Kuchiki. As Xeion stepped out, he was greeted by several high-ranking base personnel, all of whom have been duly notified of his arrival. They knew of the man he worked for, and knew him well. Ky's company was well-known, and as such, it was normal to have friends in high places. Such was the advantage of a CEO of a multi-national company. It's just lucky for him that he had a friend like that.
With a smile, he greeted back those who greeted him and courteously introduced himself. This was the first time he had come to this place, but he was already stunned at just how big the facility was. It was mind-boggling to think that all of the numerous buildings which composed the airbase housed not only airplanes and helicopters, but people as well -- civilians, nonetheless. "What a nice place," said Xeion, complimenting the base commander. "As much as I would love to explore your base, business comes first. I'm here on behalf of Ky Die Verrater to ask for your aid."

After talking outside for several minutes, Xeion and the base commander proceeded to walk across the airfield and into the base commander's office to discuss the things Xeion wanted to do. After they did, the base commander left the office to the communications room, leaving the young shinigami all by himself. You see, Xeion had asked the base commander if he could request the use of the base as a temporary Ravens Organization's aerial operations unit. Since it was such a high request, the base commander needed some time, as well as permission from both the Japanese and United States governments to allow such a thing to take place. Since the request involved political interests of both countries, it was Xeion's role to explain his side to representatives of both countries in order to convince them to allow the use of the aforementioned air base.
While waiting, Xeion leaned back on the couch he was comfortably sitting on and let out a sigh of boredom. He knew that this would take longer than what he was expecting, but even so, he had to see this through. He was a representative -- Ky put his trust in him. As such, he wanted to be worthy of that trust. However, he must endure the long wait first before he could do any good.

After several minutes of waiting, the door in the base commander's room opened as the base commander, accompanied by two men, one American and one Japanese, both in black business attire, went in. Walking past Xeion, the base commander sat comfortably behind his big desk in his big chair while the other two men stood beside him, one on each side. "So, let's get started, shall we?" asked the base commander while looking at Xeion straight in the eye to express his sincerity.
In response to this, Xeion fixed himself and sat up straight as soon as he saw the three men go in. He, too, also made direct eye-contact with the man, to show off that he was serious. He took a deep breath, anticipating as to what questions the base commander before him were most likely to ask. It was hard, but still, Xeion continued. "Okay, let's start," those words resounded in Xeion's mind as the base commander said it to him. With one, last deep breath, he smiled at the base commander. "Yes. I'm ready."

Inside the nice looking chopper, was a little person. And not just any little person, it was a certain light blue haired girl, who had these lifeless looking eyes, that no one could forget. She was waiting patiently inside for her big brother to finish his business. She wore gray shorts, with pockets on the side, and a light blue sleeveless hoodie. And she had her beloved poncho tied around her waist. She looked out the window, as she tried to hold herself up to do so.
"I know Onii-san say to wait in here for him, but this is getting boring." said Yuu, as she looked at her stuffed bunny. "Plus, I'm starting to get lonely." Yuu popped the door open, and careful made her way out of the chopper. She safely, without tripping, placed both feet on the ground. She then quickly ran to the entrance, with her bunny in hand.

Coming upon the Air Base, Minato looked around. What a peculiar thing, Humans took alot of time into this kind of stuff, the Sereitei never had anything like this, well no Jets or anything you could say. He wandered around the Base, anxious and waiting for someone to get there... he intended to achieve Shikai sometime... and he was far behind many of his peers, he just never got around to it. But now, he would take the matter into his own hands and get it done, at whatever cost.

Several hours later, Xeion emerged from the base commander's room with a smile on his face. It was difficult to convince the top brass to borrow the air base, but in the end, everything worked out just as well as he had hoped. Te base commander and the American and Japanese government representatives agreed that Yokota Air Base would be temporarily used by the organization under Ky as a hangar for its planes to land in, but in return, the organization would donate some of its funds to invest on improving living conditions of air base personnel.
"Those people were really nice despite their intimidating looks," Xeion giggled, stretching his arms to the sky and yawning like a tired child as he walked. It was already early in the morning and Xeion still didn't sleep yet. The base commander said that he could stay in one of the base's apartments until preparations were done, but that was until he had sensed a familiar energy signature running towards him. It was his beloved little sister, Yuu-chan. "Hey there, little bunny," said Xeion with a smile, kneeling down and opening his arms wide to greet his little sister who was just as happy to see him.

Seeing an unknown shinigami enter the base, Xeion looked to his direction as he held his sister tight. "Oh, hello there. Is there anything you need?" he asked, giving the shinigami a warm and welcoming smile.

Yuu giggled as she had her face in her brother's torso. But when she felt the presence of someone else like her around, she quickly turned in the direction it was coming from. She was confused, for she had not seen this person before. She looked back up at her brother, as she tugged on his clothing a bit. "Who's that Onii-san?"

((Yokota.... crying *hugs the base gate* ))
The sound of a sudden gust of wind blew as an eerie 'Whoomf!' was heard, bubt then again it wasn't by thte loud whizzing gand whirring of the F-16 engines and a KC-10 landed on the flightline, infront of Rakey. Luckily, she was in her arrancar form so she wasn't phased by this huge thing coming in front of her, for she just used another sonido to go passed it. Rakey held her hair down, for the wind from the planes was making her hair a mess and she could barely see.
"Hrmph," she pouted as she puffed up her cheeks and kept walking, soon her pesquisa caught the reiatsu signatures, of Xeion, Yuu, and another shinigami, who she assumed was Minato, the shinigami who asked her to meet up with him. She began running over to the group and waved, eventually she stopped and was breathing heavily, "Hello, Xeion, Yuu, and Minato-kun," Rakey smiled bowing in respect. "I'm Rakey Lamilton,".

Minato turned over to the person gesturing towards him... obviously a Shinigami or something of the sort... "Oh no! I'm just uh... waiting for someone..." He walked over towards the two, "I've just got something to take care of... When he looked around he saw Rakey, and waved back at her. He waited for her to get a little closer before making any other kind of greeting. When he saw Rakey bow before them, he thought it neccassary to bow even lower, since she would be his teacher... "Yes, I'm Minato Kichaiya. Thank's for meeting me here on such short notice..."
((I'll be back tomorrow... I need to hunt for some Z's...))

"It's fine, it's fine," Rakey sayed waving her hands in front of her as if to express what she was saying as well. "So... You want your shikai right?" Rakey asked, she wasn't sure exactly how the process worked, but she was willing to help. She understood the feeling of not being able to fight for yourself, it made you feel like you were in the way of others, and she assumed Minato felt that way. "So, how exactly does this process work?" Rakey asked, to whom would be able to answer this.

Xeion smiled when he saw Rakey-chan walking towards them from where she sonido'd out. Looking at the young shinigami then back at Rakey-chan again, she was still as caring as ever, going out of her way to help someone in need, even though that person she was helping was supposedly her enemy. Her actions reminded him of himself for he, too, would go out of his way to help a person in need be they enemy or ally. That was in their nature, Xeion noticed that -- helping people simply for the sake of helping, and nothing else. Rakey-chan and himself were the same in their beliefs, or closely alike, at least.
With Rakey-chan's question, Xeion stood up, patting little Yuu-chan on her head and ruffling her soft, blue hair, after which he proceeded to answer Rakey-chan's question. "Well, in a nutshell, a shinigami's shikai would be like an Arrancar's resureccion, Rakey-chan," smiled Xeion. "The concept behind achieving it is somewhat the same, but the process is rather different. In order for a shinigami to get shikai, he must commune with his zanpakuto and overcome the trial it gives. After a shinigami successfully completes it, only then can a shinigami's zanpakuto spirit acknowledge the shinigami and allow access to shikai."

Rakey nodded at Xeion's explanation, she found it interesting that the shinigami's zanpakto- had a spirit, while the arrancar zanpakto- didn't have one. "Okay. . . How do I make it so Colm talks to his zanpakto- spirit?" She believed this process wasn't the same to achieving an arrancar's resureccion, for they didn't have to 'talk' to their zanpakto- since it was just their hollow self. Rakey folded her arms over her chest and turned to Colm.
Her face grew serious, and her voice let out, "So, how do you want to do this? Do I just beat the living daylights out of you? Or are you supposed to meditate or something?" She honestly had no grasp on this concept, but she was determined to help him, and the others around her could probably see that.

"Well, eheh... from what I know it's more beating the hell out of me then me sitting around meditating..." He began rubbing the back his neck with a sheepish expression on his face. He wasn't quite sure how it exactly worked... if he had, he would have already achieved Shikai, but he had known it to be different in some ways for every individual.
"I don't really think you should leave it up to me to lay out any sort of rules, but as long as you don't kill me before I even contact my spirit I think it should work out okay..." He let out a weak laugh, still unsure of his position, he did however take the time to rest his hand on the hilt of his zanpaku-to by the wrist.
