I really recommend
this tutorial for people wanting to get into drawing anthro.
It's a long read, but one can skim through it and grab some basics and keep referring back to it as needed. It covers everything you need to know and then some.
The big proportions thing with anthros are the guys who walk digitigrade; on their toes. Makes the legs all different. Not by a lot, but enough to bug people. x3
Just take it one thing at a time. ^^ You've already got a decent handle on human anatomy and proportions. All you have to do is change the head, alter the legs, and add wings if you want 'em, plus whatever tail would be visible. ^^
