Leveling and Experience

In this thread will go in to detail about the experience system to level up your and/or your mobile suit. As well as the stat increases, everything involved with leveling and experience. A number of different thing's gain experience such as training your self out of your mobile suit, or training inside it by doing drills and such. As well as doing a number of different things shuch as doing mission, as well as taking down enemy units the bigger and badder they are the more exp you will receive, but of course make sure you dont bite off more than you can chew.

Experience

Experience is the field of knowledge your pilot/mobile suit has gained threw life and combat experiences. An experienced pilot is not that who trains for years, an experienced pilot is that who find himself in all different kind of situations and overcome them, a pilot who have been placed in the line between life and death so many times that his body is covered with scars. For this reason experience will only be given by doing missions or fighting strong enemies. Most people before said most of the skills were useless. Now I will prove you why those skills are there.

Experience will be distributed by taking in count for the following things:

  • Mission rank "S, A, B, C, D"
  • Enemies defeated in combat.
  • Training out of, as well as in the Mobile suit.
  • Apportion to skills, and/or behavior "using skills like practicing at firing range, or targeting while using your mobile suit."

Experience will NOT be distributed by taking in count for the following things.

  • Sitting around chatting, and talking to a PC and/or NPC.
  • Doing something that doesn't involve the system.

If a Ace pilot accepts and complete a A-rank mission, and he manages to shoot down ten enemy units during the mission and because the mission is going so well he decided to chat with his dispatch coordinator. He would get a amount of Experience for the mission, as well as for what he did during the mission, and for the enemy units destroyed. But when he was only chatting he will not receive exp because it was nothing more than talking.

    Gaining experience

Certain acts gain you a set amount of experience, to be issued by the dispatcher (creator of the mission's for you side.) as well as for mobile suits. You also receive experience depending on your level for how much your rp, meaning the more and bigger your posts the more exp your receive.

    L1-5: 1 XP per 65 words
    L6-10: 1 XP per 40 words
    L11-15: 1 XP per 30 words
    L16-25: 1 XP per 25 words
    L26-35: 1 XP per 20 words
    L36+: 1 XP per 10 words

For each enemy unit/s shot down use the calculation:
Pilot: 20 experience, +10&#xpe;r level, +10% per rank beyond rookie.
Fighter: 40 experience, +10&#xpe;r level, +10% per rank beyond rookie.
MS: (mobile suit) 50 experience, +10% per level, +10% per rank beyond rookie.
    Ship: 1000 experience
MA: (Mobile Armor) 1500 experience, +10&#xpe;r level, +10% per rank beyond rookie.
Assists: 1/2 exp from that of above.

Example: You shoot down a level 6 MS gunner in a level 1 MS, that 50 +60% from level and 10% from rank= 85 exp
    Example 2: your shoot down a level 3 MS rookie In a level 3 MS, 50 +60% from level= 80 exp

For further information, here is the experience needed per level:

    Level 1-9: Add +10 to your exp bar [100 - 180]
Level 10: Add +20 to your exp bar [200]
    Level 11-15: Add +50 to your exp bar [250 - 500]
    Level 16-20: Add +100 to your exp bar [600 - 1000]
    Level 21-30: Add +200 to your exp bar [1200 - 3000]
Level 31+: Add +300 to your exp bar [3300.... +]

    Leveling up

Once you get a set amount of experience you level up, and when your pilot/MS level's the stats raise. Levels represent how strong and experienced your pilot and MS have become through there life. The stronger your character becomes, the harder it becomes to get greater power. For this reasons there will be an increment in the experience needed every level. This will keep rookie's from surpassing a Ace or even the legends easily, this also increases the need for dispatchers to find missions for their teams. As explained before levels are obtained by acquiring a certain amount of experience.

    Pilot Level up

Every time your pilot level's up they get certain bonuses, as well as certain thing's you must do every time your pilot level's.

  • Recalculate your pilot's HP by using the formula [Constitution Mod x level]
  • Recalculate your pilot's Evasion Bonus by using the formula [Dexterity Mod + Wisdom Mod + Level]
  • Gain +3 Stat points
  • Gain +3 Modification points
  • You recalculate your skill points using the formula [int mod x level]
  • Your base attack will be increased by +1
  • May receive additional attack depending on level

Stat Points: Points you must use every time your pilot levels by adding them to your pilots stats, these cannot be saved.

Modification points: Points you receive every time your pilot levels up, modification points can be saved. Modification points can be used to open new slots for part slots on your mobile suit. Modification can also be used to increase the level of weapons/armors/items as well as to increase the stats of your mobile suit. Modification point's can used for a great number of things, they must be displayed as being added to what it was added to. Modification points can even be used to combine multiple weapon/armor/items in to a single weapon/armor/item.

Additional attack's: Every five level's of your pilot you receive a additional attack turn. This greatly increases the capability of your pilot's combat efficiency. This add on to the attack numbers.

Your gain additional attacks at level:
    6/11/16/21/26/31/36/41/etc

    Mobile suit level up

Every time your current Mobile suit level's up it get certain bonuses, as well as certain things you must do every times your current mobile suit levels up.

  • Recalculate your Mobile suit's AP by using the formula [Armor mod + Mobile suit level] x 100
  • Recalculate your Mobile suit's En by using the formula [Energy Mod + Generator mod] x 50
  • Recalculate your mobile suits Output by using the formula [Energy mod + Generator mod] x 5
  • Recalculate your MS's Evasion Bonus by using the formula [Pilots level + Mobile suits level + Mobility bonous]
  • Gain +3 Stat points
  • Your base attack will be increased by +1
