The Caspar Sector

A section of the galaxy less travelled then the rest. Seen by many as a sort of backwater sector. Beings that hail from this sector are easily pointed out among the rest because of their unique behavior and thick accents. The government's reach extends to this sector, but it is not as heavily trafficked as the other sectors. Those fleeing the governments grasp or those just seeking a slower paced life are commonly found here. Since two of the planets are warring planets, it makes a great hideout for those on the run from the law. the Ryuusei tend to turn a blind eye to what happens out here. As long as it doesn't cause trouble for the rest of the galaxy. Within this sector are several planets of all sizes and types. Only three of them have atmospheres that can sustain sentient life.

Remus is an interesting planet. The first thing that one notices about Remus is how close it is to its twin sister planet Romulus. The two planets have caught themselves in each other's gravitational pulls. At the same time Roma, a white dwarf star, also has a firm hold on both planets, this causes the two planets to constantly orbit each other in tiny circles while continuing on their giant ellipse around Roma. The fate of both planets are intertwined, what happens to one planet, always happens to the other. Remus is 98 percent ocean. Most people live on hovering cities just above the surface of the ocean. The ocean gives the people of Remus life. They depend on it for resources such as food and other materials. A majority of the population of Remus are fisherman. Remus contains many different type of metals in the form of ores on the ocean floor. Remulites have used these ores to make themselves cities, watercraft, and spacecraft. Their space craft typically have a very nautical look to them, with long flowing ornamental fins; as if they were flying fish. Remus is also very adept at war. Remus and Romulus are constantly entering into wars with each other for various reasons. In present times many of the inhabitants have forgotten the real reasons for their wars, just that they are enemies with each other; so the wars rage on. Currently Romulus and Remus have agreed to a cease fire, but relations between the two are lined with tension. War could break out at any time.

Romulus is very different from its sister planet, Remus. Romulus has very little oceans. Only about 25 percent of the planet is water. Towering mountains and spires of rock grace the surface of the planet, giving it a very rugged and uninhabitable look. However, the planet houses a flourishing population. The people of Romulus primarily build their cities in the rock faces of mountains, or some are even completely underground. Much of the reason for this is their sparse water source. They have to drill underground to find water. Romulus has a vast amount of underwater rivers under its surface, sustaining its population. Romulite spacecraft tend to be very boxy in shape, built strictly for convenience and ease of use. A complete antithesis of the flashy and sleek vehicles the Remulites use.

Cybele 7 is a member of a cluster of planets called the Cybelean Cluster. There are 7 planets in total, most of them gaseous. Cybele 7 actually orbits Cybele 6, a gas giant composed of a mixture of helium and hydrogen. This means that Cybele 7 is actually a moon, but it is a very large moon. Because of this, early explorers classified it as a planet. The central star in the Cybelean Cluster is called Cybelea. Cybele 7 is known by most as an agricultural planet. Most of the population either runs a farm or owns a farm. They actually provide food for most of the Caspar Sector. Because of this agriculture, the planet has a booming economy. Most people there prefer to live a simple life, they only purchase what they need and live modestly. There are also a few spaceports on the planet for travelers on their way to the Rim, or on their way to explore Deep Space.
