There is a subforum for ex-members of KoRn. I am moving this topic there within the next day. Thank you.

I dont hate brian, i just wish he had left for another reason aside from Religion, but he did but thats okay as long as he's doing better, the way he was going before was pretty rough and he knew he would die if he wouldn't stop so he did all he could to stop it so he leaned on 'god' but whatever, hes better now. And i wish he hadn't have bashed KoRn too. That pissed me off. but Jonathan and the whole band forgave him so i forgave him too ^^

In his day, Head was a great part of KoRn. I think his influence is one of the reasons that early KoRn is harsher than their newer music. But the road he went down made him a liability to the band, and the fact that he left KoRn is just another step in the band's growth and evolution.

Oh, and I have to say this. I love KoRn, don't get me wrong. I have every intention of owning every album, but can't due to money restraints. However, Slipknot is one of my favorite bands, and since you do not have any reasoning to back up your statement, I'm gonna have to call you out.

KoRn was the birth of nu metal, but Slipknot is one of the most popular bands of the era. Their music has gone past metalheads to almost all ages, stereotypes, and races in this nation. And how did they do that? By getting 9 men to work together and create a sound that most people have never heard. Yes, I know they are not the first band with a lot of people in it, nor are they the first band to have more than one percussionist. But they are the first band to do all of that, AND become so popular in such a short amount of time, AND to do away with genre almost entirely.

Now, I'm not saying Slipknot is God or anything, they have their faults as much as the next person. They have gotten much softer over the years, to the extent that All Hope Is Gone has been ostracized by many fans and metal listeners, and their live shows are completely staged. But to many people, including loyal fans like myself, they still rock.
