crying This topic, I am using to mourn the death of Deadpool's character in the movie continuum, before the movie hits theatres. I watched a leaked bootleg of 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' two days ago, and it totally destroys Deadpool. The guy has a katana-sized claw coming out of his hand Logan-style, can teleport without the aid of a teleporter, and HAS NO MOUTH WHATSOEVER!!! As much as this pains me to say it... as far as the movies are concerned, Deadpool's been decimated. I had such high hopes for it, too... crying

I knew the movie was gonna be horrible. I hated the first 3 movies. I saw Deadpool being in that movie like just 2 weeks ago and knew what he'd be cause I saw stuff too. I think I saw the action figure and it looked like the monster freak...thing. (Looks like that Mortal Kombat guy. I don't play it so I dunno the name.)

And Marvel was donig so well too with Iron Man and Hulk, now they screw it up with another X-Men movie. They should take a lesson from Batman and just start over with the X-Men movies, since they practically butchered it just like AvP was butchered. Hollywood is like a giant butcher shop...Lets hope Transformers doesn't get butchered...I hope anyway.

Oh, dear, so many things that I can say in relation to so many things already said... I'll startf from the top of the list below my last post.
@ Elesariin: I'm sorry, but despite my main character's name, I am not joking. I wish I was.
@ _lil_masako_: Simple... he's not.
@ Sapphire_Spider: You don't know the half of it. The actor playing Wade Wilson, the one that I'm sure you were thinking of, isn't even the actor playing Deadpool later on.
@ Tomha_Domizoko: The Mortal Kombat character you're trying to think of is called Baraka, and yes, I totally agree, the action figure looked a LOT like Baraka.
@ Minron: If the script in Transformers 2 is as bad as the first one, it will. The first one wasn't bad, but it desperately needed people who knew how to write a good script, which it didn't get. If that happend again, the fact that this is a sequel will only highlight the fact.

I dunno, I saw the whole movie in theaters, and if you chill for the credit teaser, his mouth is back, he re-attatches his head, and he breaks the fourth wall. (I heard they're lining him up for a movie of his own...)

Deadpool: Oh, come on; even I didn't like it, and that didn't count as breaking the fourth wall! If you're gonna break it, BREAK IT, I s-

I would just like to start with....yeah the leaked movie had a different ending thing...so...deathpool....totally unkillable as seen in the movie theater version. In the leaked version they were setting up a possible second wolverine movie with him in Japan where he meets his wife...no not the dead girl in the one that was just released. Anyways, I got to say that the other movies failures is more about the directors I think then the scripts. Transformers = Micheal Bay...yeah...there is a winner...gosh I think he is the worst director...I mean worst director I have ever seen that dispite his horrible job I still liked the movie. And Batman...come on...who can fight that kind of a cast and directing and screen writing? seriously....I loved most of those actors and director in the prestige, and no offence but wolverine almost rulined that movie for me...but it turned out good, still love it to bits. And hey....as far as his looks....did any of the other x-men wear their outfits? no...could he put on an outfit like that? of course and would look the same as the comic books. Remember its hard to match the comic books in a movie because you only have a few hours and lets face it...there are five different lines of comic books that tell different stories entirely with the same characters. Just keep that in mind...like batman- has multiple different lines of comic books, sometimes he is a vigilanty, sometimes a detective that works with the police, and sometimes he is a detective in the police department. How do you stay true to all of them? you don't...heck the only movie from a book that is almost exactly like the books that I can think of is the new lord of the rings movies that in full extended editions has all the scenes in the books, but only in that version. As long as the characters is similar to what you pictured in the comic books....then let it slide and enjoy it for what it is. Byt he way...liked Iron Man a good amount although I wanted him to be shown as more of a drinker since that is how he rolls.

I agree about Tony Stark's alcohol. He needed much more of it.

Let us all take a dive in which ruins movies the most: concerned parents. It was most likely some mom complaining got a big group up and prevent the comic to translate to film properly, making Tony Stark not alcoholic; just a tad bad so the kiddies wouldn't notice. Despite ratings, hero movies will always be shot multiple times by parents in order to get them child acceptable despite ratings like PG-13. The reason why Dark Knight was good besides Heath? Parents didn't affect most of the film and it got showed in all its glory. I haven't seen Origins, so I can't say if it was parent handled, but if you really want to see what kids can do to Iron Man, check out his new cartoon. burning_eyes As long as directors don’t realize who their larger audience is, super hero movies will continued being intimidated by parents and their nosing in everything, making them less enjoyable (*cough* Superman Returns *cough*) and more against the those teenagers who grew up reading the comics and watching the TV shows
