Outlaw Star was a big inspiration for me, it wasn't until I saw beautiful assassin Sazuka cut a giant mecha in half with a wooden sword that it occurred to me that cybernetic sci-fi and samurai pulp could actually coexist in one crazy action-packed universe. No other anime has quite done this for me, so I owe the inspiration for my own story 7th Moon(check arena please), and in turn my avi, to this anime. I'm a little surprised to see that nobody else posted a thread on this anime already, so, here, I'm starting this.

Truly I have to agree with you, for Outlaw Star is a truly amazing anime in every way shape and form.

Outlaw Star is one of the best anime ever. The only thing that gets annoying about it is Ashia Clan Clan's voice in the dub >.>
And it was a pity that... You know who did what she did in like the fourth episode >.> She is the best one eyed girl ever <.<

You know who did what she did in like the fourth episode >.> She is the best one eyed girl ever <.< The one eyed girl was named Hilda. And it seemed odd to me that in her disguise she didn't have just one eye, she had both, how did she do that? I liked Aisha in the dub, her voice was a little annoying but I liked the contrast between the fact that she appeared to be just another ditz but was actually the strongest member of the group, and the voice was just a part of that.

I know that her name is Hilda >.> I even remember her nickname is Hot Ice Hilda, I was trying to NOT give anything away -_-
As for the disguise... Do you not remember how advanced the robotics are? A prosthetic eye for a disguise should be rather simple to come across.
And, yes the voice was a good contrast for her, but I couldn't listen to her for more then a few minutes at a time... Still can't watch more then two dubbed episodes at a time >.>

As I was rearranging playlists and I went over the end theme Hiru no Tsuki. Does anyone esle remember near the end of the series when Melfina sings he song and Harry MacDougall gets all creepy? And then when he dies at the Leyline, and he says to Gene "Have her sing for you, it's beautiful..." That was one of the most moving and tearjerking scenes I've ever seen in anime, he was almost redeemed, even after being creepy for the whole series.
