What we need: Skilled, dependable colorists to do both growing and adult dragons, for Hatchings, RP events, customs-- basically whatever is needed!

How many we need: We'll be picking 2-3 colorists, ideally, but we may want more!

What they need to have:
1. Photoshop, or something that can open up .psd files with layers.
2. Artistic ability, the ability to take sometimes abstract designs and make them pretty on the lines.
3. AIM, or another way for us to contact them easily!
4. Time, and the dedication and love for Pern to do this!

What they'll have to do:
1. Color a number of FS dragonets to Teh_Sil/Ryugen/anyone else writing up egg's specifications-- they pick the egg design, dragonet color, and personality, you choose how to interpret that design and personality onto a dragonet!
2. Color a number of custom dragonets along with those FS dragonets, to the customer's specifications-- how much interpretation you get to do really depends.
3. Grow said dragonets twice (1 month in between stages).
4. Color adult dragons from customs, or for RP events as Sil and Ryu need them!
5. Cert your own work, unless you have a lot of trouble with the cert, then Lei can do it.

Example workload for one month:
1 clutch - 15 eggs; you will probably do 5-6 of them, less if more colorists are hired
Customs into clutch - you will probably do one or two of them, less if more colorists are hired
Adult customs - you may have to do one or two, less if more colorists are hired

What they'll get in return:
1. An insider's look at the planning for all events and hatchings!
2. Payment: Either a custom dragonet (to be placed into a clutch) or a custom adult dragon, 1 per month, OR some gold compensation.

Trust me when I say that coloring for this shop is a labor of love, and if you're looking to make fast gold this is NOT the job for you. Please only apply if you're interested in the shop and setting and plan on sticking around. Thanks!!

How long will this be open? As long as it takes to find around 3 good colorists.

How many Pern books have you read? Mm.. hard to remember that far back, but I did read that trilogy the White Dragon was a part of, and a couple Harper ones. Need to snag them back from my sister and delve back into the world <3
Do you already have characters at this shop? Yes, three. Tailor apprentice non-candidate Kita, candidate Nathail, and 'super-flaming" candidate Alirien. x3
Do you have experience or references in the b/c? Mm indeed I do. Modifoxes (reference in there would be Bouncy_Pineapple), Foxitinies (reference be Rian-chan), Forest of Tranquility (references be Mobster Goose and Kirowyn Love) would be my main draws from experience, then I do guestwork with the MLP shop, Moomba Madness, and used to work in Firebirds' Lair as my first ever coloring job <3

Coloring be my druug~ I run Modifoxes in Sapphy's long internet-less absense, help run Foxitinis with Rian-chan though we're on a bit of a hiatus, and my other main job is guest coloring in Forest of Tranquility, the other shops I just color when I'm needed.

Do you have experience or references in the b/c?Yes, I've guest colored in many shops over the years (can't link because they aren't around any more) and I've owned my shop Plains of Saighneian for a number of years now actually. Thalion has been a friend of mine since I started in the b/c and can attest to my character smile
What are your other commitments at this time? I own my shop Plains of Saighneian and am enrolled in three classes in college at the moment, though I've found them to be exceedingly work-light and I have owned PoS long enough to know that I can handle more coloring and still keep it going fine.

How many Pern books have you read? Eight, I think, and am currently reading a ninth.
Do you already have characters at this shop? Only one- Tideal who is a candidate.
Do you have experience or references in the b/c? I currently own a B/C Shop and work full-time at another- Tree of Eden, neither of which are very time consuming. I've worked at 2 other shops preceding that- Castle in the Sky and 13th. I've been in the B/C for about 3 years, and on Gaia for 4 as of this May.
What are your other commitments at this time? My school schedule is off at the moment, being near the end of the year. But as summer comes I'll have tons of free-time and I hope to take school online next year- so you can expect to see more of me, despite my current status of looking for a job.

Do you have experience or references in the b/c? I haven't actually worked as a colourist for a B/C shop for years, but last year I was part of the colourist team that did the Noctua Feathermus, and I also picked up growths when one of the Shadows of Africa colourists had to leave.

How many Pern books have you read? I have the unfortunate circumstance of saying none, but I'm friends with lots of people who have read the books and do have information available to me that I'm more than willing to learn. :3
Do you already have characters at this shop? Yes, I have two -- Kiriwar and Bevan -- and plenty more in planning.

- Kitsusagi -- I've worked there for over a year now, doing breedings and customs, working on events, so there I have references from Mau, Swampieestar, Skieborne, The Kat Aclysm
- Dromidae -- I worked in this shop for a few months at its opening, doing customs and breedings alike, so references here would be Graphophobia.
- I've also worked with Meeki in her Faekat shop, and I worked temporarily with Nerpin at Kitsusagi.
