This is from one of my hiking adventures in Sabino Canyon here in the Catalina mountains in Tucson. It's a great 4 mile trail to the 7 tiered water fall, and there's no way to get there without getting wet because you cross the creek about 5 times and all the bridges were washed out from flash floods.
These are in no order at all...
Look closely.. you can see my room mate over there on that rockface above the falls. We did some barefoot rock climbing once we got up there. Much good times.
See the frog?
The road goes ever on and on..

I wanna go walking with you! Great pics, man. Do you know I've never seen a waterfall in real life? Sad, huh? *sigh*

I've always loved the water it makes me nostalgic and puts me at peace. I like that last one with the shadow of yourself. There is an artist who would do that. In every one of his images he would have his shadow be in the picture but I can't think of who he is!

You've never seen one Asia?? Wow.. considering I live in the Sonoran Desert and we have one..I think you had better do some looking haha. Sabino Canyon is a beautiful place. Maybe I'll take my dog for a walk out to this park that isn't too far off from here. Beautiful place as well.
Hiking for me is one of the most fulfilling things out there. In one of the pictures up there, where you can see the creek coming down the mountain side and all of the tiers of the waterfall, there's a trail that goes up along the right side of that, then several miles up and back, it crosses the creek and you go up the other side and up to the top of those mountains. I lost the trail completely last time I was there since no one had used it much. To me, there's just nothing more peaceful and relaxing than standing on top of a big cliff in a meadow of waist high grass while looking down and across the entire city in the distance. It's something you can just feel, the silence, the tranquility. It always puts me in a good place.... Until I sat down and read the pamphlets they gave me at the visitor's center... MOUNTAIN LION WARNING! DO NOT HIKE ALONE! lmfao I would have loved to have seen one though.
I'll add some more pics of Sabino soon.
