How does he act? I'm afraid I can't help you until I get a clearer picture of what the problem is.

Well...based of the little info you gave the best I can say is try to talk to him about it. Make it clear that _______ things make you uncomfortable. Try to do it tenderly. If you area accepting of his sexual orientation then also make that clear.

Maybe you should do your best to be yourself around him. Ignore the fact that he is homosexual and ignore the people who laugh at you 'cuz you're friends with him (that applies to out-of-the-closet gays).
Also, assuming that you are male and straight(i cannot tell people's genders through their avatars, but i can assume....), try not to do anything that would make him think that you are in love with him (e.g. hold his hand intimately, touching him everywhere, you know, that kind of stuff)
I'm not so sure about this, but I hope my advice will help smile

How is one "kinda" gay? I just don't see what the issue is here. Elaborate some more.

His sexual orientation should not be a problem in your friendship.

i don't think his sexual orientation should get in the way of being friends. just let him know that you are with him (in support of him) and try not to do anything that could suggest you having these sort of feelings toward him.

well, all i can say to this is, dont do anything about it...just accept him for who he is and you can still be friends with him without being gay...

Well, without any major details and I'm assuming that you are straight too. Well if your gay friend cracks on to you, then tell him to back off and then explain that you don't feel anything for him in that way. But do it in nice way that's not aiming to offend him and that you accept his gay side. As for the people that laugh at you? Just shrug it off like your shooing a fly away. ^_^
