The idea of this thread was taken from the bump thread, and the spontaneous poetic action taking place therein, thanks to Davis (whom we all copied, thereby creating awesome.) ~~~~~ The first person will post a word. Any word. (That's me, in case you're feeling slow today.)The next person will then have to write a poem where the lines spell out that word. (It can be the first letters, the last letters, you can spell it backwards, you can ssppeell it like that, I don't care, you get the idea. Be creative with it. Check out my example below, as well as the bump thread.)Then, they will leave a word for the next person to write from. (Really doesn't matter what word you choose, but pick a word that one could conceivably write good poetry about, not, like, say, pasta, or some such.)Example - Quote: Never ending darkness closes in Inky silk folds round the window Grains of light surround the single candle Her raven hair lies shining on the pillow Tresses as dark and beautiful as sin They twine around his stroking hand His only aim to make her happy Gentle tears fall quietly In the shadows but he Never lets her see, the pain in his past Let's get the ball rolling.
