Hmm... After viewing the trailer for Sonic Riders on Gamespot, I began to think I saw similarities in three characters in it... Well, obviously the green bird who just happens to look similar to Bean can't be Bean, since it clearly says "New Rival"...
But is it just me, or did one bare a remarkable resemblence to Bark? And the other to Nack/Fang?
If not, I must ask, why not? These characters generally need more of a story behind them than what they got from Sonic: The Fighters (and yes, I do realise Nack/Fang was in a previous game too).
Oh, finally, I remember someone saying something about Amy getting a new costume. The only difference I see in her is that fact that she can now enlarge her head by up to (and including) 200%. ninja

The purple one isn't a replacement for nack/fang, because it's a girl.
I agree though. It seems like they made new characters using old characters as a base.

Yeah, unfortunately that's not Fang or Bean, but what do you mean Fang was in a previous game?!? HEROES?!? eek

Fang was not in heroes. He hasn't been in a "next gen" game yet. He's in Sonic & Tails 2, Sonic Drift 2, Sonic the Fighters, and maybe a couple more games.

Yeah I always thought that green bird could be the return of Bean....... Does anybody know what the new characters name are though? Is Shadow in that game too?! If not....... Oh well I'm still getting Sonic Riders!

What console is this for? And dang I got my hopes up that Nack would come back. Maybe after the Shadow the hedgehog game, we'll get gun-totting Nack for a new protagonist. XD I wish!

Yeah, pardon my past-n00bishness, I took "In a previous game" the wrong way. gonk It figures. I wish the green one were Bean though. That would've been SO awesome. But no, Sonic Team has to go revving up more new characters just to annoy us all. GAH! Eh, Jet the Hawk is cool anyway, the others (So far) look lame.
