So throughout the entirity of marching season, the same question seems to crop up quite frequently. Often its at very inappropriate times such as while lining up right before a show or during a particularily difficult rehearsal, however it always seems to receive everyones undivided attention once its been brought up. Who would win in a band brawl? I think the clarinets would, just because ive seen there fury[[my section!]] However ive heard many answers from "the flutes because wed all just play high and out of tune and leave you unable to move" to "Percussionists are ninjas...obviously"
So...what are your thoughts on who would win??

Hmm....Its a hard question. The saxaphone just because they are like the loudest section in the band and the most obnoxious. But then there are the flutes. We have so many of them.

Either our flute or trumpet section, which makes up about half the band put together. But then the rest of the band could gang up on us, and there are some weight-lifters in our percussion section who i'm a bit intimidated of....

Well I think the Euphonium section would master everyone, because of their Sassyness in our band.

in our band it'd be the percussion since we're the only ones who have any camp outside band camp and do conditioning for season.

Our trumpets indefinitely stare If yur talking about with fists it would be either our saxophone section or the percussion or maybe low brass even though we're outnumbered.

Clarinets, but if we could choose one person from our band to go against a person in another band, it would be one of our flute players. The band director is always teasing about how she talks all this smack but then whines when something isn't to her liking, such as if a song is 'hard'.

Percussion
we carry the most, plus we have percussion camp outside of band camp just so we can bulk up so we can carry our instruments
or maybe tubas they would be strong too
but NOT flutes or clarinets since they're interments are as light as heck

Ummmmmm.......TTKA Tubas Totally Kick a**. We Have to support 40 to 50 pounds of weight on a single shoulder. Also were are the large quiet guys. but if i needed an ally, i'd deffinately choose a percussionist.

Percussion would easily win. Not only do we have huge drums and sticks we can use to beat your brains out, we also have throwing disks (crach cymbals) and can play way more obnoxiously than any other section.

Percussion. We hit things on a regular basis, and we have all the goodies in the percussion cabinet. Oh, the things we can throw at you...

Of course i'm gonna say clarinets because we are awsome and also the color guard. Clarinets are easy instruments to use as weapons and can hurt somebody cause I done it before. Those flags the color guard use can knock somebody out. This girl was twirling her flag and she accidentally smack me in the head. ouch eek
