Lots of people in the GCD, and just the general atmosphere, are really grating on my nerves. However, there is one user in particular that my hatred is just boiling over for. I noticed her for the first time like... the day before yesterday? Having some retarded fight with an equally obnoxious person that lasted throughout her whole thread. Both of them were just constantly trying to one-up the other one and sound smarter, better, superior, etc. Now it seems I'm seeing her everywhere, just being a lovely box of snark.

It's gotten to the point I was seriously tempted to spam up a thread that she posted in just telling her how much I hate her. And I've never even spoken with her! gonk

Of course, I didn't. I'm just doing my best to ignore her, and not post in her threads. These types thrive on attention.

Anyway, it seems like her attitude is becoming more and more common, and everyone's just ego tripping instead of talking about Gaia and having a good time.

Can anyone relate to anything I just said? Do the other users ever get under your skin? How do you deal with it?

Lets just say I have. I might get in another argument if I say why.

So I was at SF, saying how in one thread, I appreciated the change in Fondue's description, and people don't even read my post but rather just the head line and just assume that's it's all to my statement.
It annoys the hell out of me all those one posters who don't even try to have a discussion [[in GCD too]], who're like "bitchers just wanna b***h". Way to generalize guys. aN d hALf 0f th3M tyappe aslaike thiz. I don't know what exactly to say about that sort of font, but what I've seen through the forums, those people usually don't know hell what they're talking about -_-.
They don't even read the other part of the discussion! Just what they think.
Now I'm all up for a civil discussion, I like to hear new things, but one must understand I'll also defend my stance like hell too. What gets me though, is those freaking generalizations! The whole stereotype that over protected soccer moms are what caused it is just silly! My whole issue was the double standards, but everybody ignored that and kept on talking about how the item's not too sexual and all that. I don't give a damn if it's too sexual! I just care about the double standard -_- Read what I have to post D:

I usually try to laugh it off, but if I get a really snarky reply, I get real mean XD

I know how you feel.
Whenever I see some of those people, I start to wonder if they've ever even seen the outside of their computer screen. The ones that just go around and basically say, "Oh, I don't care about the discussion, I'm just better than you" are really the ones that get on my nerves, though. I mean, if they're talking about a different end of the discussion or trying to start another part of it, that's fine. But it they completely go off-topic to just admire themselves or such, that's just really annoying.

Wait a second! I'm an SF regular and I hardly ever see someone typing in text like that! The deal with the SF regs, like myself, is we get tired of seeing the same thing day in and day out, same threads complaining or praising the same thing. And don't get mad at the regs when they don't respond specifically to what you're saying, a lot of them are engaged in their own arguments, and a lot of them are assholes. So my sincerest apologies if you came across a bad SF experience.

...is "cartwheels" some kinda slang I'm not up to date on?
