Hurray for fake Uncle Steve! Teacher go gaga when you do sentimental shtick that makes you look like the sweet, impressionable kid who had no idea of what was going on at the time. I tried pulling a similar thing for an autobiography, except it didn't occur to me to be sentimental. My parents got calls in regard to my supposed British nanny, named Fufu, who carried a folding table in her carpetbag so that she would never miss tea-time, and also in regard to the episode where I apparently lit the house on fire at age six and then proceeded to pee it out.
