Ilythara practically growled at the sight of the slavers from earlier that day, as they walked in and out in a nonchallant fashion of their warehouse hideout.
What had occurred earlier flashed once more through her mind, riling her anger up even more..blood lust coming into her eyes.

The slavers below had attacked her when she was traveling through one of the back alleys on here return to the hotel she was staying in. She had at first been startled and not prepared for it, but once she had got her bearings she had fought back so fiercely and with such anger that the slavers had immediately fled for their lives. Of course not before three of them were dead and a forth maimed enough that he couldn't get up and run. She had swiped her double headed axe and taken off the offending slaver's head in one clean blow. Then she had taken the other heads and gathered them in one of the fallen males' cloak and taken them with her.

For the rest of the day she had been tracking the dratted slavers to find their hideout. While usually she didn't mess with such things..the affront to herself she took personally, and she wasn't about to let any of those responsible for it to get away with it. It had taken her only a few hours to recognize a slaver with the same tell tale tattoo on his forearm bartering in the marketplace. Once she had spotted him she had been very carefully following him everywhere he went, knowing that eventually he would lead her back to the slaver's hideout.

So here she was, amidst foul smelling garbage overlooking an abandoned area of Llurth Dreir watching the movements of those coming and going in the warehouse. She still had the heads with her, and had a great plan in how to freak them out with the heads. Not to mention take every single one of them out in the end. Slavers were the scum of the Underdark; and these ones deserved it the most. To try and nab her to sell her off was the worst insult anyone had ever made against her.

Sure so she was houseless, and was a female..but that didn't mean that she was going to go without a fight. Or allow a male to accost her without loosing every single one of his limbs for it. Oh..these fellows were going to pay dearly.

Her eyes narrowed in on movement of two slavers coming into the warehouse..with a slim figure being carried between them. It was a easy to see that it was a female, what with the clothing, and soft curves the figure had. Ilyth sighed and pushed her bangs out of her face trying to figure out what she was going to do now. She hadn't counted on their being captives among the slavers...but apparently there was. There were probably more of them. She couldn't help but wonder...would they enjoy to turn the tides on their captors given the opportunity? Oh..most likely they would and they'd enjoy every moment of it.

This being decided, she figured it would be safer to wait a bit longer until the slavers had settled down and lulled into a false sense of security. And when they least expected it, she would strike with the heads. And while they were distracted by the heads she would slip in and free the captives so that they could strike back with her. Oh..there would definitely be a lot of bloodshed tonight, and she couldn't wait to experience it.

User Image All had been going so WELL! Yallinda felt like screaming again. But she really couldn't with the gag in her mouth. She couldn't even flail about. her captors hadn't wanted her to 'damage' herself in her emotional fit. Someone seemed to have told them that she was 'delicate'. Now...what b*****d could have possibly done that?

Yallinda had begun to settle into the position of being a House Healer. And she LOVED it! Oh...she couldn't care any less for the b***h daughters. But she smiled and acted nice and poliet and demure. They were the daughters of the House after all. And the matron! Yallinda made a point of coming at a quick walk every time she was needed. She wanted to exhibit a eagerness to fulfill her task. She wanted the Matron to approve of her so she could see her Rihn again!

So she had deemed to go to the market, with some of her cheerfully gained coins, and to buy a new outfit that would make her more accpetable. Something pretty and flowy so the heat wouldn't bother her so much. Something that would accent how delicate and gentle she pretended to be. Something that would make the matron mistake her as harmless but ever so useful!

And thats when she'd beeng rabbed. Yallinda had no House Insignia yet, as she was only now nearing the end of her trial hireing. She hadn't earned it. But obviously someone recognised her by the words 'Thats Her' she had heard right before everything had gone dark.

She'd been hit, obviously, and had toppled like a delicate glass wand being rapped against steel. She did not stay out long though. Just a few minutes she was certain. When she started to come around she knew she was still near the street where she'd been jumped. The gag was already in her mouth, her wrists were behind her back, and some jerk was taking his time tieing her ankles and brushing his fingers a little too casually against her slender legs. She kicked and squirmed of course, and thus found herself hefted up like a sack and carried. Oh how she squealed and writhed! That...hadn't helped her any. It seemed the sight of a struggling female had only made the slavers happier. her bag had been stolen from her and she felt disgruntled at the happy exclamations as they took better note of the contents.

A pretty female would go for a nice price in another town. But a -healer- could get them even more. Particularly if sold to one of those raiding mercenary groups always in need of patching up.

Yallinda did not want to return to a life of hard wandering and bloody battles. particularly not when those she was travling with were under the impression they owned her. She she squirmed and kicked and chewed on her gag the entier trip to the ugly warehouse. Being taken inside allowed her to see she wasn't the only unfortunate gathered there today. A pair of other drow were bound and gagged as well and locked in small cages. Yallinda squirmed as she was carried towards one of the cages. The pair within hardly looked clean and she did not care to start sharing close quarters with them* Neeeeeeef!!

Ilythara shifted down further in the garbage heap she was hiding in, and peered closer at the warehouse and the surrounding abandoned buildings. There had to be a spot where she could get in closer to examine the layout better so she could decide how to go about the job that she was now involved with. Recon was her favorite type of work. The delving into other's mindsets and figuring the proper techniques to use were something she enjoyed to do. Though most didn't figure her to be the insightful and thoughtful type because she was so tall and carried an axe. It was as if just looking at her they assumed she was brain dead, and more brute force than brains. That was a mistake most drow only made once in their lives..especially when working with her.

Her eyes focused on a building adjacent to the warehouse..and she considered it for a few moments. It was rather unremarkable looking, very worn down, decayed garbage surrounding it, and piles of broken wine caskets strewn all over. It must have been a bar at one time, she decided. The layout appeared to validate this assumption. The only stirring inside the building was from rats and other small street creatures that swarmed in the lower reaches of the city. It would do for what she needed. Now to get over there without being seen.

Her eyes turned back the warehouse to watch it closely. There was a guard on top of the warehouse roof; making rounds slowly. On the ground level the guard there was half asleep at his post..having grown tired of keeping watch of the lone empty street. Ilythara grinned, what a fool. He'd be an easy one to pick off. She eyed the inside of the warehouse her breath catching when she notice movement inside. There appeared to be at least two guards making rounds inside..keeping an eye out on things inside. Ilyth frowned, and sat back on her heels, rather confused. There had to be more slavers than four, she had been attacked by at least four earlier..and she knew they traveled in large groups for safety's sake.

She was rather happy moments later to see a group of slavers depart the building; jostling each other and laughing rather boisterously. They were apparently off for a night's excursion to a bar of some sort. Her assumption was affirmed when they roused the sleeping guard and admonished him for falling asleep at his post. He was then told that for falling asleep he would have to fill in for the next shift as well, while they had an hour of fun at a bar. The guard was rather mad about it but knew better than to argue.

Ilyth took that opportunity, as the guard's attention was elsewhere to move forward through the trash towards the empty building. Her gaze flickered back and forth between the guards on the inside and the guard on top of the warehouse as she dashed across the street. She slid inside the decrepid building just in time...seconds before the guards inside and the guard on top rounded to where they might see her. She breathed a sigh of relief and crept farther into the building, being careful not to cause any of the debris to shift and give away her position.

She used her axe as an extension to swing herself up into one of the remaining rafters. The beam creaked slightly but held up as her weight bore down on it. She shifted, so that she was laying flat down on her stomach, her great axe in her right hand as she crept closer to the broken window to get a better look inside the warehouse.

The layout of the warehouse was pretty simple. It didn't look as though there would be any problems in gaining access. The roof seemed the best bet for entry..as she could surprise the guard on the roof and take him out easily enough without raising alarm. Then..she'd slip in from the roof access and take out the two guards making rounds.

It was almost too simple for her. Ilyth rubbed her face in frustration. When would males actually get a clue and make things a bit more of a challenge for her? Ah well...she really didn't have time to dwell on that now. She couldn't help but see the cages inside the warehouse that were holding several females and males inside that the slavers had apparently collected that day. Her grasp on her axe tightened in anger...she could have very well been in one of those cages! Really..they were miserable looking individuals...save for the last one that they had dragged in. The small female's eyes were ablaze with anger and she looked positively livid at where she was. That one was definitely used to better things. Ilythara could tell.

This was a outrage. A utter outrage. Yallinda sat in her cage, doing her utmost to not lean against the bars. Though she may not have been half as naked as the people of this city, She still wore a top that exposed a lot of her back, and Yallinda had no intentions of leaning her pretty black skin against those disgusting bars. It was a offense on top of that to be stuck in a cage with two other dirty street tramps. her red eyes flickered over the glum and accepting faces of the two in the cage with her.

Well! They may have accepted their fate, but she surely would not! Yallinda, in her ire, kicked at the bars of her cage. They would not budge and her efforts were a waste, but it made her feel better to be venting some of her anger. Sadly, all her anger was ignored. The gathered slavers seemed to be interested in investigating her bag. Ah. There went her coin purse, right into someone elses pocket. Yallinda gave the bars another good kick. No, not a face turned towards her. At least not because of the kicking.

One of the males did return to look her over, a ugly unkempt male that she recalled as being one who had accosted her in the streets. He gazed down at her and stroked his chin. In return Yallinda tried to glare her most hateful at him.

He only smiled.

Maybe she had been playing the part of a demur and non-threatening drowess too much. Maybe it was actually wearing off on her. Oh Goddess! Was she loseing her touch and getting too far into a conjured personality? Yallinda looked on the smileing male and felt her stomach flip flop.

She wanted Ka'darihn terribly badly at this moment. He'd have beath these thugs off and saved her by now. It was weird...but she could really imagin him sweeping her up off this filthy floor and being ever so strong and bold and...

Goddess save her she was about to swoon from her own imagination. Yallinda shook her head to rid the feeling and thoughts. If she was going to get out of this she was going to have to be smarter then these nasty males. She would have to find some way to con her way to at least ensure she had a chance to run. Perhaps if one got hurt...Ah. But what were the odds of that actually happening? Yallinda gave a small whimpering sound and she drew her kenees up to rest her forehead on them. What was she going to do!? This wasn't one of her fantasies that she could just expect her hero to come crashing in to save her now!

She heard a shuffeling of feet and tilted her head up to watch as a majority of the males made their way from the room.Only two were left behind. Well.... maybe things were going a bit more her way now. Yallinda glanced around her cage. The unlucky sods trapped in here with her would be of no real help. She supposed if she tried to flirt...but it was hard to pout with a gag in her mouth! All she had was her anger right now and that wasn't going to help convince one of those males to open the door of her cage!

Ilythara eyed the ceiling of the run down old bar, trying to find the easiest way to gain access to the rooftop without making too much noise. It didn't take more than a few moments for her eyes to spot that the scaffolding that was holding up the building might not actually hold her weight very well. This made things a bit more difficult..which she was actually a bit excited about. A job without difficulties was just too easy and boring to her. She needed problems to solve and figure out or she would go mad from boredom.

She eyed the ceiling..and was quite relieved to see that there was actually a gaping hole right above the beam she was sitting on. That definitely made things a bit easier. All she'd have to do was shimmy up the support beam and pull herself on top of the roof above. This decided, she stowed her axe on her back securely and then started climbing up the beam.

She had to really dig the bottoms of her spiked boots into the beam to support the most of her weight on her feet, then hand over hand she pulled herself upward. The beam creaked in protest but didn't move in the slightest. Ilyth thanked the gods for whoever had constructed the foundation for having done a good job. Most didn't even bother with it anymore..so Ilythara was thankful that it was an old building and codes had been different back then.

She reached the hole and got a good grasp on the edge and hefted herself up onto the roof. Once her whole body was on top of the roof, she flattened herself and crept over to the edge of it and peered over to the warehouse rooftop. The guard was on the far side of the other rooftop, Ilyth eyed the distance and tried to figure out how much speed she would need to clear the gap between the two buildings. Once she figured that out, she edged backwards to the opposite end of the roof avoiding the hole in the roof and launched herself to her feet and forced her body into high speed. As she ran over the top of the roof it creaked under her weight as if protesting her actions, Ilyth sped up a bit more and launched herself over the four foot gap between the buildings.

She soared up and over the gap..right over the head of the guard down below. He stopped short and glanced up right after she landed on the rooftop of the warehouse with almost no noise. He scratched his head and went about his business. Ilythara moved silently, and made her way around behind the other guard, and took him out before he even knew she was there. This done..she wiped the blood off of her dagger onto his tunic and then she made her way over to the loft door that led down into the warehouse and slipped inside silently.

She found herself at the top of winding staircase which looked out over the whole inside of the warehouse..without much of any sort of cover. Fortunately the two guards inside were not thinking they were in any danger from being attacked from the rooftop so their attentions were on the large windows and doors that led in from the ground. She slid down the staircase and into the warehouse and would have managed to gain entry without giving herself away..had not one of the slaves in the pens spotted her. Ilythara motioned for the slave to stay silent, only..a bit too late. The slave struggled to it's feet and screamed through it's gag and pointed in her direction animatedly.

Ilyth cursed as the two guard's attentions were drawn to the slave and then in the direction it was pointing. She immediately rose full height with a great snarl knitting her features together in rage as she launched herself at the two guards. One of the guards' eyes widened in fright and turned to run, while the other ran towards her screaming for aid at the top of his voice. Ilyth loosed her axe at the drow running towards her..decapitating him easily. Then she sped after the other guard, catching him at the doorway.

The guard was unfortunately caught between Ilythara and the guard from outdoors and tried vainly to get out of the way, only to be taken down by her axe and the other guard's sword. The remaining guard attacked her, thankfully her full body armor protected her from his ringing blows. She snarled, as she finally managed to extract her axe from the fallen drow's body and began hacking away at the offending drow's body.
The axe bit deeply into his throat reducing his war cries to thick wet gurgles. He fell back, his eyes going blank and lifeless as his blood rapidly collected on the floor below him.

Ilythara bent over for a moment, wiping her face to rid it of the blood that had hit it and resting for a moment. Then she strode over to the slave who had given her away and ripped the bars off of his cage and strangled him to death..muttering in a dark tone, "This is what a cur like you gets for giving me away." Once the slave fell from her hands lifeless to the stone floor, did Ilythara turn to the other cages and open them and try to usher the slaves outside. The majority of them just stared at her blankly and didn't move. One however took the opportunity and raised her bound wrists to Ilythara.

Yallinda's head lifted as she heard a muffled crying sound. Looking around, she spied a rather animated slave pointing at something. Blinking her red eyes, she looked..and watched..and honestly....

Yallinda felt faint.

As the stranger killed the first slaver, Yallinda turned her head away and reburied her head between her knees. She used them to try and press firmly to her ears so she could smother out the death cries. Each one made her feel more weak, she felt more faint of heart as she felt each thump of a body falling. Yallinda pressed her eyes closed as tightly as she could and gripped her head with her knees. Riiiiiihnnnnnnnnnnn! She wanted to wail like a little child.

A jostling occured, causeing Yallinda's slight frame to tip against one of the bars she had been avoiding before. Pulling her head from her knee's, she wiggled away from the nasty bar and looked up. One of her cell mates had risen to his feet. Lucky b*****d. Why did it seem Yallinda was the only one with her ankles tied? Cautiously she watched as he held his hands out towards the woman who had been doing the killing. So..what was this? Did she know someone here? Why had she killed the slavers? If she wasn't after one of the slaves then...what sort of nut job was she?

Who cared. Yallinda squirmed uncomfortably as she watched the other slaves being released. What about her? "npph!" She tried to call out, at least to one of the slaves that might have hands free who could untie her. Oh if they all got out and left her behind she was going to...to just...cry?

Ilythara cut the bonds of the male slave, and was about to leave the cage when she heard a muffled sound from inside. She frowned, and looked around the cage a little more closely and finally noticed the slight form of the female gagged, and bound hand and foot.
"Damn...they must not have liked you all that much little lady." Ilyth commented as she cut the ropes from the female's ankles and wrists and then gently pulled the gag from her mouth.
"there you go, feeling better now?" She asked kindly, noticing how green the female looked.

This had to be the female she had spotted the slavers drag into the warehouse earlier..she was wearing clothing that showed she was from a higher status than the other drow that had been in the cages. Not to mention she looked positively sick at the sight of the blood on Ilythara's armor.

"Ah..a bit squeamish around blood are you? Well you best keep your eyes on the ceiling or you might lose it by all the blood that's been shed in here. If you need assistance in returning to your House, I will gladly escort you there." Ilythara found herself offering before she could stop herself.

She should have asked for recompense but decided it didn't really matter. If the female was from a high house..the Matron would probably reward her in some manner for escorting the young woman safely to the House. Perhaps she'd even gain an ally to help her with her quest.

Finally!! Yallinda stilled as the warrior woman cut her bonds and removed her gag. Well...at least she wasn't as rough as she looked. Gentle showed that she actually haad a scrap of sense about her. Yallinda rubbed at her ankles while attempting to avoid looking at the blood on the females armor. Her insightful words caused Yallinda to bow her head a little.

"They said they did not want me 'damageing' myself." She murmured in a unhappy voice at first. "That and I was trying to bite one of their ears...and scratch their eyes out..and kick them in their nasty unwashed man bits." Okay, maybe there was a hint of a proud smile in her words, but it quickly vanished as the female warrior would inform her to keep her eyes off the floor in general.

"Actually yes. I would like assisstance very much. But first...my bag... I swear if those brutes broke any of my bottles..." Yallinda was on her feet of course, and with a small cringe she slipped through the gates door. She just...had to keep her eyes away from the dead bodies as she went to the table her bag was open upon. Almost immediatly her lips turned into a pout. Opening the bag, she started to fuss unhappily.

"Monsters...brutish ignorant thugs! They've crushed...and this bag...oh this will spoil in a week! I can't use all this by then!" Yallinda sighed and slipped the strap over her shoulder after taking one more moment to make certain she had not forgotten anything on the table.

Placeing a hand up by her eyes, she reached out a bit towards the female. "I...really hope your hands are clean..."

Ilythara wasn't too surprised when the other female adverted her eyes from her blood splattered armor..she seemed to be one of those over indulged children from a high house who had never seen any sort of carnage in her life. Ilythara grimaced slightly as she eyed her own armor. It would probably be best to clean it off as soon as she could or the blood would rust her armor...that was something she couldn't allow to happen. She was rather obsessive compulsive about keeping her armor and weapons sparkling clean..as though they were brand new. She figured though that most warriors were the same way..wanting to keep their means of protection and weapons in perfect condition so that they wouldn't decompose too early on in their careers.

She snorted in answer to Yallinda's first words, and then gave her a rather appreciative grin at. "Good for you..that's what I would have done had they managed to grab me earlier today. Unfortunately for them..Mr. Axe wasn't about to sit the fight out and allow them to get away with accosting me. He killed four of them before the damned slavers decided it would be smarter to leave with all their limbs intact." Ilyth replied, rubbing the head of her axe with fondness, as she wiped the blood off with a piece she tore off of one of the fallen guard's tunics.

Once she finished cleaning off her axe, she set about to searching for alcohol to clean off her armor properly. She came up triumphantly with a small flask of strong whiskey from one of the other fallen guards' and set to cleaning her armor off, half listening to what the other female had started spouting next.

At the female's harsh words, Ilyth looked up from her almost completed cleaning to see what she was speaking about. She frowned slightly at the discovery of the bag of broken bottles. From the pungent aroma wafting out of the bag, Ilyth could tell that the bag was filled with healing herbs. So the female was a healer, her fortune definitely was looking up!

"Well that bites..slavers are rather stupid brutes if you ask me. They probably didn't even realize what you had in there. If they did..they wouldn't have stuck you with their other.."catches" in the cage, and I would never have been fortunate enough to actually free you from their clutches." Ilyth commented, as she began to work the blood off of her hands with a cleaner piece of tunic using the whiskey to sterilize them.

She looked up with surprise on her face at the healer when she reached towards her. Ilyth blinked a bit surprised and then realized why the other female was reaching for her.

"Ah..yes. I just got finished cleaning them off with whiskey." Ilyth replied, taking the hand that the healer offered her and then began to lead her through the blood strewn warehouse..taking time and effort to avoid all the blood. Once she got them to the front door, she loosened her grasp from the healer's small soft hand and spoke softly saying, "we're at the front door now..no more blood for miles."

"Mr...Axe?" Yallinda echoed the warrior as she tucked her ruined item's back into her bag. She rather hoped the warrior woman was merely speaking from a fond sense and not because she honestly referred to the weapon as a seperate entity. That could make her seriously question allowing the female to escort her back to the House.

"I am a bit more relieved at their stupidity now that you bring up that point. I wouldn't care to wonder where they would have put me if they had honestly thought I had more value then just as something pretty that can patch up knife wounds and the like. Simple minded dolts...this is definatly one of the few times I'm grateful to be overlooked."

Yallinda was...also grateful for the females assisstance in reaching the door. As the other woman would inform her that it was basically safe to open her eyes, Yallinda could not help but quirk her lips "Are you so sure? In a place like this I'd be surprised if the furthest spot of blood was around a corner somewhere. Well...reguardless..." Yallinda opened the door and exited into the street. Her red eyes swept up and down it before she turned in the direction she was familar with.

"The House I work for is up that way. I'd give you some sort of payment for helping me but those nasty bastards took all my money."

"Just an endearment," Ilyth replied seeing the questioning look on Yallinda's face. "no need to think I've lost my mind or anything." She added rather defensively bristling at the thoughts that she knew were carousing in the other's mind.

Still rather tense, she paused at the door, not really caring to follow through with her offered excort services..especially not when Yallinda seemed so wary of her and sure that she was mad. The injustice of it made Ilyth's back straighten and stand up fully becoming a rather imposing figure at 6 foot 2.

"There is no blood, as far as I saw when I was scouting the place out. Even though I wasn't looking for it, that would definitely something I would notice and take note of." She replied.

Ilythara was rather disappointed when the healer told her that she had no funds to pay her for her services, but didn't allow it to show on her face. She briskly walked out in front of Yallinda in the direction she had indicated, figuring that the female would follow after her not wanting to be left behind in such a questionable area of Undrek'thoz.

"No matter," she said with a shrug of her shoulders. "Just as long as you return the favor one day. There are times when I do manage to get on the wrong side of fighting situations..so I may need a healer's services. Of course, you'll have to let your House know of our deal. We wouldn't want them getting upset by a bloody giant like me showing up insisting that you owe me a favor."

This female...obviously did not have a sense of humor to miss a sublte joke the likes of which she had just made. So Yallinda merely smiled at Ilthy "I am sure you are right. Thank you." It was probably best that she didn't offend the woman. She had already done her a service without any sort of expected payment. Yallinda reminded herself that such things were so rare that she ought to just be pleased to get the aid in the first place.

"Oh I will." She assured her current escort. "I dislike oweing anyone anything normally. In fact..." Yallinda turned to look at the taller female. "I could repay you innediatly. I doubt you'd really want to walk all the way to the House if your hurt and have to deal with whatever hinderences that would follow. I could make you a few healing potions, maybe even a anti-toxin powder if you want. I do have to use up some of these opened packages after all. Then you'd have your payment readily at hand."

Ilythara didn't realize until after she replied to the healer that she had been joking about the blood. She closed her eyes and pinched the skin on the top of her nose. She really was rather getting sleepy and that did not bode well. When she did sleep she was visited by nightmares..nightmares that plagued her and wouldn't leave her be. Suddenly she got a thought.
"You wouldn't happen to have herbs that could help a person sleep without dreams would you? I have a problem with that...my mind wanders too much. If not..well then I could take you up on the other offer. Though since I am unhurt, and really would like to make sure you get back to the House you work for unscathed. These slavers tend to not give up easily. They might come looking for you again...and catch you unaware again." Ilythara pointed out logically.

Yes, she could have let the female return to her House alone, she really didn't care all that much for baby sitting another drow, but for some reason she felt responsible for the other female. After all..if she had managed to hunt down the slavers faster and taken them out then the healer would never have been grabbed. Slavers..in Ilyth's mind did not deserve to live. Especially when they targeted high society families.

"By the goddess, " she suddenly exclaimed looking rather chagrined with herself. "I've forgotten to introduce myself. I am Ilythara, the last of the once Great House of Chandrasen."

Yallinda was growing more sure of herself the more distance they placed away from the bloodshed and death. her heart had returned to a normal steady pace. her stomach was ceaseing it's flip flops, and her hands were no longer jittery. All she needed to do was ease away the last of the creepy flesh feeling and she'd be as good as ever! Ah! Rihn! She wanted so badly to throw herself into his arms and have him comfortingly curl her up against that strong muscular chest!

"Hmm?" Yallinda tilted her braided head as her escort would inquire about sleep deprivation herbs. She perked one fine white brow with a small amount of uncertainty. "Well..yes. Of course. I have a few different sorts. They are quite useful when your traveling through dangerouse tunnels and you want to keep extra men on watch." Yallinda dug her hand into her bag as they walked and began to dig about within it. Yallinda's eyes did not remain on her task as she walked though. As Ily would bring up mention of the slavers, her red eyes would dart orund them as if she were expecting someone to appear any moment then and attempt to recapture her. A small shudder traveled down her back that was hard for her to surpress.

"Ah..yes...well... Your attendance is very much appreciated." She spoke as they walked. Yes. A return to that cage would have been highly unpleasent. And after the thrashing and beating her escort had given them...Yallinda wouldn't put it past the only intelligent male in the group to decide selling a healer wouldn't be as useful as keeping it for future such attacks. Yallinda's fingers closed upon a small bag, and she withdrew it just as Ily made her exclamation. Yallinda lifted her head, and blinked her eyes at the formal title that was given. Once Great? Yallinda worriedly tried to recall if the caravan guards had mentioned any such House in her travels. That really was the problem with being a wanderer. She never took the time to learn who was noteable in the cities. She always judged according to how quickly other drow scurried to get out of the path of others to determin if they were important or not.

"Oh." She made a effort to make her voice sound as surprised as she could manage and added a slight widening of her red eyes for a greater effect. Best to be safe then sorry yes? "I am honored for your assisstance Ilythara of Chandrasen. I am Yallinda, Healer for House Ja'lithur." As she spoke, she opened her hand to reveal a thin mesh bag containing several black round objects. "Here. These are concotions of herbs and some minerals that I've had good success with. Normally I give them to the guards on watch after a long day. They sort of perk them awake for a few hours and have very few side effects. I think turning the teeth a faint pink color was the worst of it, and a slight itchy feeling inside of the ears. But I believe that only helped keep them awake better to tell the truth."

Ilythara could tell that the other was becoming more sure of herself the further they got from the bloodbath at the warehouse. It was a curious thing to find a healer that was nauseous at the sight of blood..but not unheard of. Heck..she would have scoffed of the idea of being cursed by dreams before she had been plagued with them. No one ever would think that dreams could be so debilitating until they actually experienced them.

Ilyth was slightly relieved when Yallinda replied. She sounded rather uncertain to whether or not the herbs would work on her or not. That did not really bode very well with her, until the healer began to dig through her bag as she walked. Could she actually have some of them on her? That would be a good thing indeed..that way Ilyth wouldn't have to step foot inside a strange House and contend with some strange overbearing Matron.

As they walked, she kept an alert eye out for any tell tale signs of them being trailed. So far all had gone well. She was rather amused by Yallinda's reaction to her introduction, and raised a hand and waved away the startled look on her face.

"It's alright..you probably haven't heard of it..most haven't. It's actually been decades since the fall of Chandrasen. I'm more so a lone drow without a House or anyone to back me. It's not too bad..the life of a warrior for hire can be rather interesting. Plus it makes it easy for me to track down those responsible for destroying my house without being obvious about it. It's more my honor to be able to assist you, healer Yallinda." She interjected as she took the offered bag from the healer's hand.
"Pink teeth and itchy ears, eh? It could be worse. I think I can live with that." Ilyth grinned at the healer.

Ilyth suddenly came to a stop, and turned to cast a glance over her shoulder as her ears picked up the sound of shouts and fast moving feet. "I think we need to hurry little healer..I believe we have some slavers' on our tail." She said through gritted teeth as she quickened her pace to a quick run.
