Light huffs resonated from a lone stallion wandering around a small forest. He faintly remembered running into the forest after a fleeing rabbit, but he wasn't quite sure of it. Oh well, he'd just have to make due with what he had and enjoy the adventure while it lasted. Caravel snorted and looked around. He'd lost sign of the rabbit and it seemed that the moon had just risen. Had he really been out that long? Caravel wished that one of his buddies were here with him. That'd probably lighten up the boring day. With a sigh Caravel trotted forward and was just about to stop and rest when he stopped a splash of red against the dark green scenery he'd gotten so familiar with.
Upon further and not to mention closer examination Caravel identified the red to be apples. Well he was hungry so he could nibble on some apples for a while before resuming the search for the exit to this neverending forest. One problem. The apples were about a tail's length away from his head. How in the world was he to access them? Then it hit him, like an apple from the sky! Caravel took several steps from the apple tree before running into its firm trunk at full force. He expected or more or less hoped that the force would make an apple fall but he had just ended up giving himself a headache. He snorted and laughed at himself for a while before settling down on some bush and watching the moon.
