what do you guys do in band in a regular day? anything interesting??or is it the same old stuff?
our band starts at 12:12pm.
-Warm-up (alone without BD)
-Announcements
-Fundamentals
-Jokes and some crap stuff my BD tells us.

warm up w/ assistant bd
play scales
tune
play MUSIC!!!
yell at flutes(who r always outa tune!! xp )
play music w/ bd
announcements (w/ the occasional joke!! whee lol)
pack up n chill!!

Our day starts out one of two ways
1A) BD is on time, we get our instruments and talk till practice starst or
1B) BD is late we sit in hall and complain about everything until he comes
2)either warm up or anouncements
3)play music get yelled at or motivationaly lecture
4)lame jokes from BD
5)more playing
6) practice ends we put instruments away
But as individuals we can get pretty wacky like the time someone knocked the crash symbol onto me but I kept playing and was called a true musician XD or our section leader's impersanations of G.W.Bush

2. Practice/Attendance
3. F scale
4. Tune
5. Bb scale
6. Play music
7. Get onto random sections
8. Stories
9. Play some more
10. Joke
11. Play some more
12. stop playig
13. Announcements
14. Pack up
15. Leave
The jokes and stories vary inbetween all this.

1. BD gives announcements about lessons, upcoming events, band trip payments, etc.
2. F scale long tones
3. Bb scale
4. music
5. pack up
6. hang out if he decides to end a little early
That's usually how it goes. Sometimes we'll only play for a little bit and watch
marching band/drumline performances to get ready for the Memorial Day parade.

14) play til 4:30

-Warm up
-Tune
-Work on music
-Pack up
-Crowd the hall
-Leave
Marching Season
-READ THE BOARD!
-Follow on board instructions
-Either go out to field (with or without instruments) or go to the Kennel for music practice
-Pack up/run back inside to be inside before the bell
-Leave
