Forgive me Brian for not getting your ok before doing this, but I figured it'd be a fun way to get activeness and creativity up.
Well, this is a very simple activity, with very simple and easy to understand rules. In order to participate, take a moment to look at the avatar who has posted above you. Look hard and think about the theme they used for that avatar. Then pick one item of what they're wearing, and create a small backstory about it. This backstory should be at least one paragraph long (three sentence minimum) and be in some way, related to the site (shops, NPC's, Storyline, etc.) but should be a fun, amusing, or cool description of the item itself. you only need to pick one item, but can pick more if you like. You don't have to do this at all, but we would all really like to see what you have to come up with. it's all in fun and creativity. Heck, if you wanted you could make a backstory for the entire avatar itself, though the same paragraph rule would apply.
This is here to sharpen your mind, help get you being even MORE creative than you were yesterday, thus expanding on your own ability, and most of all, to just have fun.
We hope you enjoy this little feature, and if it's successful, we may expand on it. (With Brian's blessing, of course)
Have fun everyone. And yes, I'll be submitting my own as soon as there's an open response available.

I think this is a great idea my love. But I'm going to let others come post to this because somehow, I think me writing your story would be a bit redundant.
Thanks for the contribution! I too look forward to seeing the results!

lol! That's grate hon! Thank you!!!
Rainbow Socks: We all knew that Johnny K. Gambino's greed was the stuff of legend. Who could forget the invention of the Grombie, Grunny and Gramster, not to mention those strange "energy" drinks? I mean, let's face it, the guy's a freak. And more than a bit creepy... yeesh.... G-Corp's exploits have been generally laughed at (until the monsters had to be fought), but on this day, Gambino would cross the line.
His arrogant need for longevity caused him to create a huge machine, cleverly disguised as a new candy-filled area with bright colors. Something he named 'Skittles'. Gaians flocked to it, pulling the handles of the spinny wheel thing (because hey, spinning colors... whee!) and gathering. Unbeknownst to them, their happiness was slowly drained from them every time they pulled the handle of the spinny device as it was crucial to his designs, for the happiness that inherently dwells in the average Gaian's heart is what gives the rainbows their vibrant happy colors.
Rather than drinking the essence of Gaians' happiness (eeeewwww people juice), Gambino was forced to have the liquid distilled and put into cloth. The whitish/gray yarn was put into a vat with the mixture and behold! It suddenly turned into a vibrant rainbow pattern that caused even G-Corp's lab techs to radiate smiles that beamed with happiness.
Johnny Gambino was far from impressed, the cloth would match nothing in his closet, and he wasn't about to be caught dead wearing a rainbow pattern... Not in public at least. (Though there are several photos making the rounds of Gambino in pink dresses.... and with that chest no less.) To hide the magical, life restoring properties, he had an an old lab tech knit the yarn into socks. The lab tech, fearing for her life (beyond the scope of working for G-Corp) was afraid for Gaia's future. She quickly poured Red Bino Energy Drink into the machine and hid the socks away in Salon Durem during her hair appointment that day.
Shinseino Ketsueki Hana went in for her own appointment and noticed a colorful wad of cloth balled up in one of the salon plant holders. She picked them up and inquired of Vanessa as to where they came from. Vanessa shrugged her shoulders and told Shinseino to take them, as they weren't revealing enough for her tastes.
Sure enough, Shinseino loved the socks, they were so comfortable and matched everything she owned in some way!!! They also made her feel happy whenever she wore them. She wore them with pride openly, not noticing their other properties; that of halting the aging process.
Someone from G-Corp, perhaps Johnny Gambino himself, will notice her unusually happy socks at some point. The question will become, can Shinseino figure out the special nature of these socks? Will she be able to hide from Gambino until he exceeds his creepiness points for the century and is slapped upside the head until he chills out, or at least get a decent haircut? Will Batman and Robin ever make it out of the Joker's trap?
Stay tuned next week. Same Bat time. Same Bat channel.

I'm writing something for Hana. ^^ This is why I didn't want to do this thing! I always get so carried away when I write. > > I'll have it in like, half an hour. XD
The person below me doesn't have to write about mine, since there's not theme, and my avatar is basically just an Easter whore, 20% off, or something. stare Anyway.

Hmm, I'm glad that people are responding to my first guild activity. I honestly didn't expect it to do very well. This however is not my reply post. I'm just waiting for a few more people to post in here, because I have something a scooch different in mind for mine. I WILL be posting though, but only when a few more people reply, so I'm encouraging everyone to reply! Yes Brian, even you, you daffy Futurama-watching-Santa-Naga thingamabob!

Ah crap.. since you're calling me out and all.. I am horrible at writing. But here goes..
The Terrific Tale of Tomboi's Eyepatch.
It was late one night when Tomboi was flying around Barton with her highly impractical wing-feet;impractical because the wearer is forced to fly upside down thanks to physics, when she suddenly spied something bright and shiny flickering in the moonlight. If video games had taught her anything at all, it was that shiny stuff means "pick me up", and it's always something you'll just happen to need somewhere further down the road. She swooped in to retrieve this glittering prize of mystery at a speed too high, and a trajectory too sharp and CRASH! she hit the pavement. But no she didn't stop there, she skimmed across the empty street like a skipping stone across the surface of a still lake, and finally came to a complete halt..as she smaked facefirst into a doornob. Her eye has been swollen shut and bruised for weeks, and it's a wonder she didn't lose it! Until the swelling and bruises go away, she covers it up with the eye patch and simply tells everyone she's really a pirate captain, with plenty of Yo-ho's and arr's and shiver me timbers to go along with it. Almost everyone has bought the story.. almost..

I used to love writing, but I'm afraid even thinking about it now makes me start twitching and drooling... Most unattractive.
I'll have a go... When I'm feeling stronger. *lol*
And Brian, I LOVED your entry. So there. razz

@Fkn Brian
Triple Demon Horns:
In Gaia the people dress a little differently, it's the kind of dressing up you probably don't even see during the most extravagant of Halloween Parties only the party is going on everyday here.
Sure Gaian's have dealt with holiday spirits, zombies, vampires, and the occasional alien but not much about the devils of the Gaian universe. Nothing screams evil like a nice set of horns or in this case three because two was just not evil enough!
I haven't done much writing, I hope that was ok.

The Evil and Tragic Tale of Vasalisa's Plans For World Domination....
Vasalisa, a loyal and hard working Toy Soldier was exceptionally diligent in her duties to Dr. Steel and the TSA. Every day she would write, read, and pass out memos (along with the yummy mind control cookies), pet Experimental Hamster no. 449 on the head and give him a piece of lettuce, and make the world a better place by creating smiles and happiness everywhere around. She was much loved and liked by all.
The Alien Illuminati, that evil, vile and fun-deprived group that underwrote every ill policy the government made and tried taking away recess (how's that for evil???) in 1909 took note of Vasalisa's exceptional work. They slowly planned to destroy the effects of all the nummy mind control cookies and spirit the young solider away from Dr. Steel and the TSA.
But wait!, no!-- one of the A.I. had an even more devious idea. They would capture Vasalisa and make her into one of their own! A spy against the goodness of Dr. Steel! An enemy of cookies and cupcakes and fun and happiness all over the world! *shock! gasp!*
As Vasalisa was walking through Barton one day, she noticed a strange ship coming closer to her. Thinking it was the Zurg come to say 'hi', she quickly got a pen and notebook out to sign them up for the Army of Toy Soldiers. (After all, who better to fight the A.I. than a group of aliens?) As the ship hovered above her, she felt a sense of malice -- the kind that makes old peoples' faces bitter. She tried running, but it was to no avail, the tractor beam had her caught in it's grasp. Quickly thinking, she tucked two very special booklets into her notebook, about a third of the way from the top.
Blackness ensued for a long while......
.......
......
.....
(Hey at least I didn't change the font color to black, right?)
She finally awoke with a new mission, to convert people to the less-than-fun ways of the Alien Illuminati. She was given her notebook and sent back to Barton. She took it in her hand, pencil ready, glasses misted over with grim determination. . .
Until.... (BUMP BUMP BUMMMM!)
She flipped through the notebook, noticing a bulge in it and lo and behold!, the only things that could save her -- Dr. Steel's End of the World Pop-Up Book and The Big Book of Explosions. Reading through them quickly, she started giggling infectiously until the laughter and goodness and big booming explosions dispelled the effects of the altered-mind control.
And see kids, this is why you always use the buddy system. It's the fun way to make sure your friends and fellow Toy Soldiers stay safe. Grab a hand of the person closest to you and buddy up for fun!
....See what happens without java juice???
And no one's worked on my avatar..... *sniff*
